I can't speak to the customer service, only to the food. I was staying in the Curtis Hotel and ordered room service. The food arrived quickly in less than a half hour. I ordered a French dip sandwich with fries. Somehow I was brought a fried chicken sandwich with fries.. not sure what happened there. Despite the order being incorrect, the fried chicken sandwich was quite tasty. The chicken was massive, crisp and juicy. There was some kinda slaw and a sauce on the sandwich too. It was a flavorful sandwich. The fries kinda sucked. They were crisp and well salted but stale, like they had been sitting for an hour. The order mix-up was odd, but food ended up being pretty tasty. And it was delivered very quickly. I'm hoping to stop by The Office sometime to check out their brunch menu. read more

Had reservations for a pre-DCPA show dinner. Seated immediately a little before 6p. The place was very busy, but other reviews indicated service before shows went smooth and swiftly. Not so much for us and many other tables of diners hoping to get a meal before their show tonight. Our order was taken around 6p and we got our food at a little after 7 for a 730 show. We watched other tables where one diner would get their food and one person wouldn't or three people would get their food and one wouldn't, this is service 101. Most people know things happen and if the server or a manager on duty would have accepted responsibility or some accountability for the disaster service we would have been more understanding, but our server said "oh well, there is still time." This place is right across the street from DCPA, this was not their first rodeo. When you are unexpectedly short staff, let your customers know! Give them an option! Their menu is not full of extravagant difficult dishes to make, we just had sandwiches/salads. The food was meh at best, and not really enjoyable since we basically had 10 mins eat. At least we got served, we did see about three tables walk out without getting their food. Didn't bother with pics, because the food was barely average, (and over priced), just not photo worthy. Have been wanting to go here for a while now but other times without a reservation we couldn't get in before a show. Turns out that is the time to be there because the place completely cleared out 30 minutes before the show we were going to at DCPA. I really like the ambience here. It is really loud though when there are a lot of people in the main eating area. The service was very good, the food that we had was tasty. I especially enjoyed the burrata. I was in town for work and went here for dinner and drinks with my friend and we had a great experience. The food was delicious and large enough for leftovers, I had the short ribs. The drinks were also well made and the service was efficient, friendly and helpful. The ambiance was calm, which was nice. Went here for brunch and bottomless mimosas. The pours for mimosas are very generous, and it was higher quality than average champagne. The server made sure our glasses were always topped off. My glass was never less than half full. I ordered the pineapple juice, and it was real, high quality pineapple. The food was also excellent, and the portion sizes large. I got the egg white frittata and it was the perfect balance of greens, eggs, and cheese. For desert, we shared a plate of beignets and they were to die for. They're served with jam and perfectly crunchy on the outside but gooey on the inside. I've had beignets from various places, but these ones stole the show. It has a mid century modern vibe, and I especially liked the vintage time clock on the wall when you first walk in! The prices were a little more on the pricey side, but for an every now and then brunch date it works out well. read more

Had a themed cocktail for the showing of wicked at the Buell Theater. This bar is great a cocktails and they know what they are doing. I had the burger what was honestly better than expected. The reviews from other goers made it seem like the burger was lack luster. But i thought it was a very pleasant burger with nothing missing. Theres nothing id change to make it better. They were out of a few appetizers and service was sometimes a little slow. But I could tell they were swamped with people who were going to the show read more

Used to be our regular stop before the theatre. Unfortunately the food quality has noticeably dropped. My last order of beef shank was hard and tough. Ordered at 5:30pm, I must assume it was leftover from the previous day. Other dished suffer in a similar fashion as the kitchen is pressured to cut costs. This is a review of many collective experiences as well as a recent one tonight. We have eaten here many times over the years. Met for drinks. Stayed at the Curtis Hotel. Enjoyed the fun vibe that always seems to be on point. Tonight we met a friend for dinner and drinks before Shen-Yun. We had a 6pm reservation, arrived early and got seated. The place was packed as usual just before a show. We waited ten minutes for a waiter. Got some drinks. Then had the green chili cashew appetizer. Very tasty and flavorful. Slightly sweeter than expected. Needed extra chips which eventually came. Our main meal was so slow to come out and I noticed the same for tables around us. Tension was high since most people were clearing out for the 7:30 show across the street. We have the garlic noodles which weee amazing. 5 stars. The hamburger with no mayo and side salad which was really good. The Koji fried chicken sandwich was good but not as good as the noodles. Bad call on my part. We had to scarf down our food and hustle to the show. I felt bad for the server, I know he was doing all he could to keep us happy but it's hard when the restaurant is under staffed and every seat is filled. Pretty typical for most restaurants these days. We will come back and always enjoy the menu variations. read more

We came in in the evening during happy hours so I can only review based on the happy hour menu. The drinks were quite strong so it's a nice pregame activity with friends before hitting the bars in downtown. The place is cutely decorated and it does pair nicely with the adjoining hotel. The food was okay. I wasn't a fan of the potatoes and I also realized that I don't like the taste of aioli. The koji fried chicken was so yummy. I have not tasted anything like that and it was shocking to have an item like this in the happy menu. But if you are here during happy hours, order the chicken. read more

If you're heading to see a show at the theater- this is the place to grab drinks and food before. While the menu is somewhat limited for entrees, there is a little bit of everything. For example - with just my table we had 3 different types of cuisine - pasta, tikka masala and bibimbop! They also have an expansive bar which I'll have to check out next time - all the drinks rushing past us looked great! read more

Seeking to try all the brunch hotspots in Denver, Marissa C and I made our way to The Corner Office to check out what delicious brunch fare they are slinging. SPACE: I'm really digging the space. They offer a variety of tables, couches, high tops, and partial booths. Everything has a mid-century modern flair. A neon sign proclaims that it's 5 o'clock somewhere in the bar area. I also really liked the color scheme and simple framed sketches on the wall. SIPS: We both are big bloody mary fans. So naturally that's what we ordered. Apparently we received the last two they had. I'm assuming they ran out of mix. They were ok. Really not much going on. We tend to prefer a spicy kick to ours, and there was no option to spice it up here. SUSTENANCE: For starters, we were a little disappointed in the selection, so we chose to split an order of the Berry Cheesecake French Toast. This was a brilliant idea because the starters were a mere $2 cheaper than the entrées. The french toast was delicious. Fluffy french toast topped with strawberries, blueberries, cream cheese icing, maple syrup, sitting on a smear of Nutella. Yum! Typically, we both enjoy the more savory brunch dishes, so this was a real treat. For the main event, I ordered the Lobster Benedict and Marissa chose the Denver Omelet. Both dishes came with office browns, which appear to be smashed and baked potatoes. Yum! While I love a solid benedict this one was lacking something. Just missed the oomph mark. SERVICE: Upon arrival, we added our name to the waitlist, despite there being a wide variety of open/empty tables, and made our way back to the small waiting area in The Curtis Hotel. After about 40 minutes, and having not received a text, we made our way back to the host station to see what was going on. She explained that for some reason the number we provided had blocked her texts, but she could seat us now. It was rather frustrating because we had been waiting less than 10 feet from the entrance. Throughout our visit, unfortunately, it was the service that really let us down. It seemed like everything just took forever, and we were forgotten throughout our entire meal. PRICE: Sorry to say, but IMO it is more than what it's worth. At $11 I'd expect a bit more pizzazz on the bloody mary, at least throw more than a lemon wedge on the glass. I get the price of lobster is high, but $27 for the lobster Benedict... when there truly wasn't much lobster, eh. My brunch-loving heart just can't give more than 3 stars for The Corner Office. It was alright, but def not my favorite brunch experience. read more

We have been coming to The Corner Office for years. My daughter takes acting classes every Saturday in the performing arts area so this and Sam's No 3 are usually the only breakfast spots to be had. The corner office has changed their menu a lot since the pandemic, but I'm not complaining. It's good to make a reservation but we haven't had to wait on a Saturday morning more than 10 minutes, if that. Yesterday we were seated immediately. The wait staff are busy, but professional and checked on us a few times. We sat in the bar area on a half booth / high bat chair situation. It was plenty comfy. We tried the breakfast burrito, which is enough for 3. We had the Monte cristo, it was ok, a little too battered, but then again I'm a Disneyland monte cristo gal so nothing will compare. We also got the Chiliqueiles, I loved these. Ordered them with chorizo on top and man oh man delish! They have a full bar, I tried an Irish coffee. Nothing special there. I want to start off by saying I'm giving this spot 3-stars based on the quality of the food. As a foodie, the food was just not doing it. Bland, or not cooked well, or just idk simply not good and it didn't "hit." Now, the ambiance is cute, nice and lively for a fun brunch. They offer unlimited mimosas which is a huge plus for $22. I'd say this is a great spot for drinks, but if you're looking for good food, go elsewhere. 3 people in the group unfortunately had to send their food back to either being burnt, or just completely unflavorless. Service was superb. Excellent waitress we had! No complaints there. In all honesty, I'm not in a rush to come back here, and probably won't unless it's for a boozy brunch (emphasis on the booze). read more

My review is as a guest of the attached hotel next door - The Curtis. Amazing hotel and I'm quite glad I stayed there. Highly recommend it. I came in around 8:30 pm for a late dinner and was seated toward the hotel entrance section of the restaurant, and Alexander (Alexandar?) was my server. Everything seemed normal up until I had the check presented to me (mid-meal - I was told he "didn't want to keep me waiting"). In looking at the check, I noticed it had a shot of tequila (Don Fulano Blano - neat) added to it, which I did not order (I had Hummus, Bolognese, and an Avalanche amber beer). I wasn't concerned, and asked for Alex to come over so he could take it off the bill. Here's where things got weird: * The first thing he told me was "my manager likes to drink" and implied that the charge was the manager's fault * When I asked for clarification stating it sounded like he was saying his manager was drinking on the job and then putting it on customers' bills, he said, "Well, I'm cool, so they like to add it to my bills". * When I asked for the GM's contact info and requested to see a manager he told me everything was ok, and he would take care of things. He removed the tequila from the bill. I asked again to see a manager. * A few minutes went by before anyone came out. He came back over and then told me he "loved me", and that "I was cool" and said he "didn't want to keep me waiting". * He then leaned in by my face so I could smell his breath, and said "I just want you to confirm that I haven't been drinking". I immediately pulled my face away and said that wasn't for me to decide. * At this point, I got up and went to the host stand to ask for a manager. Alex saw me, came over and made an excuse for the manager not coming down, and I told him, "I need you to stay away from me". I spoke with the night supervisor and explained everything which happened. She seemed flabbergasted at what I was telling her, especially when I told her how Alex had immediately tried to throw her under the bus. She took care of the bill and advised she would speak with the server. I'd recommend skipping The Corner Office. There's a plethora of other great restaurants nearby. read more

This was our go to breakfast spot! Slow laid back atmosphere. It was really nice. Ate breakfast here for 4 days. I would recommend making reservations, especially if staying in the hotel as there is a bit of a rush when opening. Some of the menu items we ate that were really good are: -Breakfast Burrito with Eggs, sausage, potato, green chili, cotija ($15). This was so much food. -Buttermilk Pancake with Maple syrup ($10). Added chocolate chips and a side of sausage. This was the largest pancake I have ever seen or eaten. We had this twice. -Denver Omelette with Ham, onions, cheddar cheese, bell peppers, office browns, & toast ($14). So good. -Lobster Benedict with Hollandaise, corn salsa, office brown ($27). Consist good food and convenient. Service really was slow but nothing unreasonable and everyone was super friendly. Loved getting breakfast here. read more

Somewhat overpriced. The atmosphere just felt a little off. We were first seated in what felt like a lobby area which was not comfortable at all. The service was lacking. The food here is relatively average but....the breakfast potatoes are THE BEST breakfast potatoes ever - I dream about them. They have a super crispy outside yet a soft inside and they aren't greasy - these are what bfast potato dreams are made of. Please go and order them for me Now, the other food is...decent. The 4 star vs 3 star determining factor was the potatoes. The omelette is average but the potatoes are worth ordering it for. The yogurt parfait is served with fresh fruit and plain Greek yogurt (which adds a nice tartness) with house-made granola that is very tasty. The turkey sausage, coffee, toast and the biscuit and gravy were...average. Most people end up going here because they're staying in the hotel for work. For a work hotel breakfast - it is well above average and it takes reservations wouldn't go out of my way to go tho. read more

We came for Thanksgiving dinner tonight and had THE VERY BEST TIME! Honestly the food was just so awesome. They did a buffet, and everything was so good! Hummus, baba ganoush, charcuterie, carrots and brussels sprouts, whipped mashed potatoes with porcini gravy, grilled shrimp cocktail, and that herb crusted prime rib SLAPPED! But what really made this Thanksgiving so special was the vibe at The Corner Office. We weren't able to carry on with our original family Thanksgiving plans because grandma was sick in the hospital and we ended up doing Thanksgiving with just the siblings out to eat and this was just... so great. Everyone here was SO unbelievably friendly and personable. Our server, Jordan, made our night. Seriously. So kind and friendly and conversational - Jordan was awesome and made us feel right at home! I've been here a few times and normally satisfied with the service. We were made to wait an hour when there many empty tables that could accommodate us. When checking for an update on our table, we were told that the kitchen would be closing soon (at 3 pm) I wish that we were informed in advance because there were other options on the 16th St Mall. We were overall treated poorly by the greeter even when seating us. I will say that our waitress Lauren made up for our initial encounter. She was super pleasant and accommodating. I had the Korean Fried Chicken which was delicious with great portion sizes. We felt very unwelcome at first but I'm glad we stayed. read more

The Corner Office is the perfect place to go have drinks and/or dinner after a show at the DPAC. They take reservations!! They make a great Bloody Mary. The atmosphere is swanky and artsy. Service was very good. The food was also very good. I had a pork dish with lo mein noodles. Brian had shrimp and grits. I would like to see a few more items on the menu. Music is awesome. Parking is in the DPAC parking building or on the street. They sat us right away even though we were about 45 minutes early. We will be back for sure!! read more
