The Corner Tavern is very unprofessional. While gathering in another establishment in town, the staff loudly blasted patrons honest reviews. They stated full names of those who wrote a review and read the review out loud. Two staff members were not discreet when expressing their feedback about reviews they did not agree with. Let's just say they were very opinionated. As a patron of locally owned businesses, I find it extremely unprofessional and disheartening that business owners would carry themselves and speak of their patrons in a manner that is belittling. First off the service was atrocious. we were ignored continuously and waited for our food for 30-40 minutes. after receiving the food, my chicken parm was undercooked and the bread was burnt. while trying to get the servers attention, who was couldn't care less, we had to physically get up and ask for the check. the only "bonus point" i'll give was my meal was comp. as a server i found it incredibly rude that this is the kind of service here. it was incredibly disappointing and i wouldn't waste anyone's time here. read more

We spent a couple of hours at the Corner Tavern during a weekend stay in Flagstaff and were really glad we gave it a chance. The draft beer was nice and cold, the cocktails looked great (though we didn't try them), the menu was typical bar food but very well prepared (the onion rings were fantastic!) and the staff was really friendly. Two bartenders. Watched a full game here. Their customer service is bad. I saw a few groups come in and leave within 20 mins because they were not waited on. You have to approached the bar to be serviced. Even though this is a bar/restaurant sorta place. But no where is it advertised to "approach the bar to place order". My sister and I sat at the bar and we had to constantly try to get their attention because the bartenders were always on their own personal cellphones or constantly talking to their friends. read more

Whoever the girl was at the bar around 4:30pm on 4/1/2023 was extremely rude, sarcastic, and rushed us for no reason. We were planning for staying for a few drinks but instead had one and left right away. We felt so uncomfortable here. It did not feel inclusive. On top of that the happy hour deals was not worth it. If you're looking for a bar to grab a drink around here definitely skip this place. We played a bad bunny song on touch tunes that WE PAID for and they skipped it immediately. A waste of our money. Not only do I wish I could rate this establishment less stars, I had one of the worst experiences of my life at this bar. I came here with my family at night (maybe around 10 to celebrate my sister graduating). Long story short, we were standing in the wrong hallway when we wanted to use the restroom and were immediately screamed at and physically pushed out of the bar. (I get that maybe we were in the wrong area but we weren't even given a chance to move before being kicked out and receiving the immediate anger from the staff and being thrown out). Right after this happened, I was knocking and shaking on the door we were thrown out of near the back just to get someone's attention to ask why we were thrown out so unjustly and ask if we could let our brother in law (who was still inside getting a drink) know what happened and that we'd be outside unfortunately. That's when things really spiraled. They opened the door abruptly and aggressively which had already been closed, mind you, and the owner of the bar came out and took one of my sisters by the throat and threw her (which was already shocking and aggressive and wrong enough as it was). Then they proceeded to kick her and beat her while she was down. A man (the owner of the bar) and a woman beating down on my 110 pound sister. The police would only take the statements of people who worked at the bar and conveniently there was "no camera to show what happened". unfortunately, justice was not served even though there were bystanders in line willing to give a statement. Inhumane, aggressive, brutal, and absolutely disgusting. Could not wish this bar or experience on anyone. read more

First time visiting. Chicken sandwich was good, fries mix was overdone and oil tasted like it needs to be changed. There was no price on the menu for beer, maybe because it was overpriced compared to other restaunts in the area. $5 for 12 oz Bud Light and Coors bottles. Also, when checking out you are not giving your bill, Just a handheld device with the grand total which you need to slide your credit card into. Personally believe all patrons should be given the bill to review prior to paying. read more

This was our first time here after scouting in Parks. We did NOT get greeted, sat at the bar and still got no service. Both ladies working saw us. So I finally said "hi, can we please order?". Ordered a drink, then ordered food. Never asked once how our food was or if we needed anything else. Our drinks had been empty for about 15 minutes. The only reason I even stayed and tipped 20% was because of the food I received. Never again. read more

Horrible experience at this bar last night!!!!! The owner assaulted (grabbed her by the throat & threw her against a car & had other employees kicking her) my daughter for standing in the wrong hallway. The police were called & only took the statement of the owner & employees of The Corner even though there were multiple witnesses who saw what the owner did. Lilly is a really good bartender. Best place in Flag. The drinks are unique, as well as the atmosphere, would 100% recommend!

Bouncer was very aggressive with my fiancé who was intoxicated and accidentally, without thinking about it, walked the door with a water. The bouncer grabbed my fiancé by the hoodie and yanked him back inside. Then proceeded to push my fiancé out the door instead of just reminding him he couldn't exit with the drink. He just resorted to aggressive physical action off the bat. (Not a bar owner) but maybe young hot headed college boys have no business being bouncers if they can't think before they act, especially being around drunk people. read more

At the bar. Order some food. Food was great Look like it was the bar manager. Do you multiple tattoos and blonde hair. Try to strike a conversation several times. She wasn't busy at all. Obviously she's had no customer service experience skills. I've been here for 25 years. And I've been to this establishment under many different names. Would not come again.
