So sad there's no more eggless sandwich so I had to make my own similar. I got the breakfast sandwich and skipped the cheese, added avocado, and onions. This is literally my favorite place to get a huge filling vegan sandwich on the island. I hope they bring back the eggless sandwich!! Call ahead to make an order or order online since it does take time to make it. This place is always my go to spot when going north shore. Tip: don't forget to ask for napkins and a knife to cut your sandwich! It gets messy but it's delicious. 100% worth it

Food is fresh flavorful and delicious! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Super friendly and love the cozy setting![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The lentil soup is out of this world!

The BLAT with pesto aioli! Practically stuffed with avocado. Despite hefty greens the pesto comes through perfectly!

FINALLY made it down to Haleiwa so we could treat ourselves to 'The Cosmic Kitchen'! It was our first time and definitely won't be our last. GUYS, we got the 'The acai heaven' with peanut butter smoothie and it tasted like a perfect marriage between both flavors. My wife swears its her new favorite combination. Do yourself a favor! Go find this secret little hole in the wall (well more like wall in an alley) and get yourself their "Kalua Jack" sandwich with garlic aioli. It was savory and creamy! With alot of pickled onions! This one packed alot of flavor. I only wish it had been bigger! We also shared their "B.L.A.T." with pesto aioli. This one was the more mild out if the two flavor wise. But it tasted extremely fresh and light. Despite being completely packed with creamy avocado. We got ours with tempeh! And like i said, wish it was bigger. Not to say the sandwiches were small! They were just so tasty we ate them kinda fast! We're curious about those other sandwiches and offerings. So we'll be back around to get another bite soon

I love this place so much! I eat there at least once a week if not two - three times! Everything is vegan/plant-based, so there's no worries about any of the food being contaminated with animal products. They're quite health conscious and their ingredient choices compared to most other places and everything tastes amazing! They have their everyday regular menu, which I love the Kalua Jack and the breakfast sandwich with mushroom sausage the most. You can make any of the sandwiches into salad bowls or rice bowls or half salad/half rice. Then they have daily specials that you can call in or see on the specials menu when you visit. They have smoothies, cold special drinks, sweet treats and a daily soup as well! You can order at their window inside of celestial grocery store, or at the window on the side of the building. There are a couple / few small tables outside to sit at when it's clear skies. Lastly, they are part of the Full Cycle Takeout program where you can order a reusable to go container with your food and return it later to avoid using the disposable to go containers. How it works: 1) Order your meal and need to go container with cosmic, 2) an account with full cycle takeout 3) Find restaurant, choose cosmic 4) take out however many to go containers your meal requires 5) When you're done with it, return it within 10 days to the return station outside of cosmic's order window. To return: scan the QR code on the return station, tap the website, tap return reusables and select the number your returning. Once returned in the system, place the to go container in the slot of the return box. Super easy! Parking is behind beatbox/usps.

This place is easy to miss. The walk-up window is on a one-way exit alley. Look for the chalk Cosmic Kitchen sign. Once you find it, you'll be happy you did. The flavors were spot on. Sandwiches were filling. Everything tastes very homemade, I'm sure they were. Worth stopping by if you are in the area

I tried the tuna melt (vegan) and it was so good. Pickled onions, coconut bacon and more just made this chickpea patty the perfect sandwich! My sister had the tempeh bacon BLAT and really liked it! She said it had good flavor and a nice texture. It was thinly sliced tempeh which is different from tempeh that I'm used to. The outside window is kind of hard to find and the inside entrance is tucked into Celestial Natural Foods. Be sure to stand on the side as you're waiting since it's an exit for the parking lot behind. Definitely coming back here again :)

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. One of the best vegan spots on the island. The food is fresh and delicious. Portions sizes are decent and the iced teas are great! The garlic sauce was an excellent choice!

It didn't take much convincing by the way since we love the place that much! Today I had the cheese and a potato empanada. It was delicious. I bought three to share and I was already full with one. I also got the cucumber lemonade and Raul got the pineapple jarritos. I drank almost all of it. I ordered two Carne Asada tacos this time without the plate sides because I figured I would be too full with the empanadas and I was right. It was just the right amount. We tried the nachos this time and it was delicious and filling. It was loaded with refried beans and guac and cheese, and all of the fixings. What a great way to start my day. And you know what was even more exciting? We decided to go to the back and check out the distillery for the first time and was impressed by the helicopter that we saw outback. We even got to get a drink while we waited for our food. We were pleasantly surprised to find a very nicely decorated bathroom inside as well. This place has easily become my favorite place. My family is coming by this November and this will be my first stop to introducing them to Hawaii as my favorite place to eat in my new place I call home.

Today was enough for me to say that it has to be done. First the girl at the cash register couldn't muster a greeting or an anything. It seemed like she was mad at the money. I still tipped because I didn't want to screw the people preparing the food. Second the food took forever to come. Then the people behind me were getting their food ahead of me. Mind you I ordered their easiest burrito (potato, eggs and cheese) and a bagel. It took them 25 minutes to work the science behind defrosting a bagel I suppose. The person making it needed to look at the receipt 5 times to figure it out. Before she could get it together she had to change the TV channel. Third the food was basic. Not great and it took close to an 40 minutes to order and wait for it. Save the time and make a Jimmy dean sausage biscuit at home. Never again. Lesson learned.

The corn was excellent and the ribeye was cooked really well. But the experience had some friction. The host stand felt unnecessarily rigid and disorganized. They would not seat us until the full party was physically standing there, even though the table was ready and the rest of our group was coming from parking. It left everyone awkwardly crowded up front with another party. Service was also slow. Drinks, napkins and basic follow up took too long. We ordered ribeyes and the knives didn't arrive until the steaks had already started cooling, which is a small thing that becomes a big thing when the kitchen actually did its part. The space is nice, but it gets hot and once it got darker the mosquitoes became a real problem. Bring repellent if you are going around sunset. Food wise, it was mixed but mostly good. The drinks were solid, the appetizers were strong and the ribeye was the best thing we ordered. The lobster salad was the weak point, more like boxed mixed greens with overcooked lobster than something worth ordering again. The kids' pizza felt frozen and heavy, but the kids were happy enough. I'd probably come back, but I'd come prepared. Mosquito repellent, patience with the front desk and realistic expectations on service.
