They only serve natural wines, which made everything feel really intentional and thoughtfully chosen. We had a Pinot Noir, a super funky orange wine that was honestly really cool to try, and Coenobium -- a beautiful white wine made by nuns. At one point, a bottle of red wine was opened and poured as a little salute for the room -- a simple, unexpected moment that was really wholesome. For food, we shared the venison pâté with bread and a Caprese salad -- simple, but done so well and paired perfectly with everything. It wasn't just about what we had, but how the whole experience came together. There's something really special about what they're creating there. We are already planning our next visit!

The staff is so sweet and accommodating and make excellent recommendations based on their understanding of their wines and your palate. Will definitely be back as they routinely add new wines to the menu throughout the month. The food menu is limited especially if you aren't a big meat eater but there's something for everyone. Low intervention and organic wines with such great range from light and bubbly to heavy with tons of body. Come for the wine and make friends with the staff and others around the bar. The setting is intimate so get comfy.

The interior is really well done, the seating is comfortable, and it's refreshingly quiet and casual for a wine bar. Service was great, and parking was easy, which is always a bonus. We had so many great memories here, and the food and wine selection were always top-notch. Naturally, we were excited to return. When we arrived at 6 PM on a Friday, the restaurant was completely empty, which felt unusual. We thought maybe the crowd shows up later, but by the time we left, no one else had come in. Looking at the menu, we were disappointed to see that many of our favorites were gone--the small burger sliders, charcuterie board, and truffle fries were all missing. We ordered the ahi dynamite, but it tasted different from what we remembered--almost like it wasn't fresh. The presentation was still great, but the flavor was off. The wine, however, was just as good as always. For a $100+ bill, the food did not live up to expectations. When I asked if they'd bring back the old menu, the staff mentioned some items are available during happy hour (Monday-Thursday), but I'd honestly be happy to pay full price if they just brought them back permanently. If they restore the menu to what we all loved, I'd be happy to return. Until then, I might hold off.

And came in right when they opened. Had to wait a little while they set up but they quickly took our drink order and started making them. Our bartender was super friendly and kind. I recommend. Would come again if in the area and looking for drinks and some food. If the rest of their menu is as wonderful as the escargot, this place is a gem.

Walking in I do love the slight dimly lit vibe as it gives me the feeling of relaxation and escape though it's not dark but just a calmness as we were taken to our table the staff is very nice and welcoming. Their menu offerings as I enjoyed a unique twist like Crostini Al Porcini which is a crostini topped with mozzarella and mushrooms was a fresh bite as some of the arugula that is topped off gave it a nice bite. The Rib Eye steak which I still dream about which we asked to be sliced for us was done perfectly and the Demi sauce was very delicate yet so flavorful and what a hearty bite along with our Caesar salad a classic that you just can't go wrong. I've also had the Puttanesca which was delicious as the linguine cooked just right scooped up all the sauce and yes this was two different nights but enjoyed just a wonderfully as I'm so grateful to have thoughtful friends I'm so thankful for, thank you Terry K and Nadine C as Mezzo was a wonderful place to escape. Cheers my friends as I'm beyond happy for these moments as hearty and amazing as the food is here so are the memories. Thank you!

Quite a bit of parties around us were partaking in this. Though a friend of mine didn't want to drink a whole bottle by herself, she tried a glass of Rosé from France which she stated was very delicious. I on the other hand had asked for a non-alcoholic option. Unfortunately, they ran out of ginger beer, all the sparkler options, and didn't serve any soda. The bartender looked pretty irritated by that point, and didn't even provide me with a glass of water. We would've grabbed a bunch of food to compensate for taking up a seat, but by then, the bartender had already dropped the check, and we hadn't even sat there for more than 5 minutes. The most interesting part was that an older couple sat next to us, similar situation. The gentleman asked for a glass of wine, and his wife asked for a non-alcoholic beverage. Though a different bartender came back with a sparkler option for her. Needless to say, I felt pushed aside and I don't believe I'll be back to this location any time soon. The only reason I didn't give this review a 1-2 star is that I recognize that Abe is busting his butt there. He was floating back and forth between this bar and Eleven. Separate review with my direct encounter with Abe at Eleven forthcoming.

The Gouda added this rich, slightly smoky creaminess that made it feel a little more elevated than your standard burger. Every bite was messy in the best way, and the bun held up like a champ. The fries were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and impossible to stop eating. You know they're good when you keep reaching for "just one more" and suddenly they're gone. We also got the fried calamari and it was perfectly golden and tender, not rubbery at all. Light, crispy coating and super snackable -- especially dipped in the sauce. But the sleeper hit? The smoked ahi with lavosh. So flavorful and fresh, with that smoky richness balanced by the crisp lavosh. It felt light but still packed with taste -- a perfect contrast to the heavier fried stuff. Honestly, everything hit. Great mix of indulgent and fresh, and I'd order this exact combo again without hesitation.

The four of us ordered family style and got a Romaine salad to start which was good, i liked the crushed croutons. Chermoula Shrimp Couscous, Came with 5 shrimps and was good. Catch of the Day, Opah fish, came with 2 pieces of fish and was good, All of us enjoyed all of the entrees. We were delighted to find out they gave a complimentary lemonade to our birthday persona and placed a candle in one of the desserts that we ordered. For dessert, they only have 2 different desserts. Ricotta Fritters w lemon curd, reminds me of a mini malasada Coconut Whipped Panna Cotta, simple dessert w tiny bits of fig and pineapple. We all really enjoyed our food here, recommend making a reservation as this place was packed and seemed like most had reservations. This is a great place to eat at Manoa Marketplace,
