1 pound combo with shrimp & snow crab legs. Comes with potatoes, corn and sausage.

This is a new spot, it's in the old Village Inn off I-70 on Kipling. The ambiance is nice and it's great seafood in a casual environment. Come as you are either in shorts, flip flops and a tank or dress to the nines in a fancy dress. They have a variety of flavors to put in your boil bag and the have lots of good sides to go a long with your order. The prices are reasonable for seafood We paid $82 (without tip) for 3 of us and that included 2 beers and an appetizer. A 1 pound combo was enough food for an adult man. The service is lacking a bit though. For example we ordered the clam chowder (the only item we don't recommend) and never got a spoon. Then I asked for silverware and they brought 1 knife & 1 spoon for 3 people. We only saw our server to order drinks & food, all other times we were helped by the host and when I paid the check, the person who ran my payment asked for the slip right after I totaled the check and signed it, which wasn't bad, just felt a little awkward versus being able to just leave it on the table, it was 6:30pm when we left so it wasn't like they were closing and the person had recently started her shift so she wasn't trying to leave. Overall, we will be back as the set backs to service I am relating to being a new restaurant opening and the food & flavor was good!

I have been going here since they opened a couple years ago and it has been nothing but excellent! The food is always served hot and fresh and it's so flavorful. The service is awesome too, they know us well and what we like to order. I like the quiet laid back ambiance. I definitely recommend this place for really great crab!

Let me start by saying the food was good. We got the special that they were running which was a cluster of each snow and Dungeness crab, lb clams, lb shrimp, lb mussels , 4 corn, and 4 potatoes with butter garlic sauce. We ordered sausage because it didn't come with it but the sausage was below average and was disappointing. It's in the old Village Inn restaurant and by the looks of it you would still think that your in the old Village Inn restaurant because they literally didn't change anything. But that's irrelevant I guess. The service was below average. When we went the restaurant was empty and the waitress never came to us to see how we were doing until we were about done or we would have ordered more wine/beer. At the end of the day would I go back? No. Because the location is sketch and I could just go to Hook and Reel or Joe's Crab Shack for the same thing with better service and ambiance.

Over spiced crab to the point of us taking it home and washing it off. Was told over the phone the family pack #1 was $65.99 and it ended up being $75.99 which isn't a big deal, but when you pair that with the fact that our server didn't care if we liked our meal or not and the manager didn't care that the server didn't care... it was less than 48 hours into opening the restaurant AND YOU COULD TELL, not only by the food but especially by the staff and management.

    Shrimp and snow crab. Delicious.

I thought crab house was great! I've been to similar restaurants in West Denver and I prefer this one. I like that it is unpretentious and comfortable. The server we had was the best server I've had in a long time! I like that you can order by the half pound and they put everything into the same bucket. Way better than having individual bags of everything you order. We were able to combine all of the seasonings and it was delightful. They also included corn, potatoes and sausage. I loved their snow crab and shrimp. Their crab cakes were also good. They may be more expensive than their competitors and I would recommend that they serve bread to sop up some of the yummy sauce.

We love love this place! We drive over 40 minutes just to have this culinary event... Our server is always amazing - the food is fresh, flavorful (you pick how you want it) and a totally fun way to eat!!! Seafood isn't EVER cheap BUT you get to pick it what you eat! We always choose snow crab and clams - WITH a side of rice to sop up the delicious sauce at the bottom of the pan. M-TH is happy hour - b1g1 beer or wine! Can't go wrong there! Don't let some bad reviews keep you from here! It's spectacular!!!

Great! Huge pieces of well cooked and well seasoned seafood. And lots of affordable alcohol. I literally ordered seconds of the crab boil, it's so good and worth it.

We ordered a pound of shrimp w/ heads, pound of snow crab and a pound of king crab with all in sauce and hot! It was very delicious, lots of flavor and very good spice level for my Mexican taste buds the snow crab was our fave! We also ordered the chicken fried rice and Cajun fries - the fried rice was excellent! Very well seasoned and I ate it to cool down my mouth from the spicy boil I would definitely come here just to order some fried rice. My partner was raving about how tender the chicken was. The Cajun fries came out hot and crispy we added the Cajun seasoning they had on the table and I really liked their sauce that came with the fries! Overall was a great experience, I would have appreciated a second refill on my soda but that's all I can complain about . This place will be my go to place for seafood now! I recommend %

I so wanted to be able to leave a good review, but alas, this was very disappointing. Asian cuisine…read moreand Cajun cuisine are both known for bold flavors and seasoning. Asian Cajun has neither. $20 for the fried oyster platter: the smallest flavorless oysters ever, obviously bought from SISCO, and a small handful of Cajun fries that I needed to dunk in ketchup, and if I need to use ketchup on your fries, that is a very bad sign, as I rarely use ketchup. I know from talking to the owner that the fries are $4 and you get a small handful. $16 for a soft shell crab basket: The difference between a basket and a platter is that the basket does not come with fries. These were small, overcooked, super oily crabs that tasted okay when dipped in their remoulade sauce. But nothing a Cajun or an Asian would say was seasoned properly. $50 for 3lbs of crawfish boil: I got the "all in" sauce, but could not taste any garlic, lemon, or Cajun seasoning. This is Prime time for Crawfish supposed to be the largest and best crawfish, harvested right now (but these were probably imported frozen from China; the shells were super soft and clung to the meat like previously frozen, cheap crawfish). There were a couple of medium to large crawfish in the bowl, and the rest were tiny, as small or smaller than my pinky finger. When you cook really small crawfish with medium to large crawfish, the little ones get mushy and are very hard to peel, and fall apart with the shell. $5 for added broccoli, which appeared to be frozen, thawed broccoli that turned to mush when cooked with the crawfish. When I got home, I added MSG and Old Bay seasoning to the bag, so hopefully it will taste better later. (I peeled all the crawfish there to make eating later easier and less messy.) You can buy a pound of frozen crawfish tails from Louisiana for $25 and get a ton more meat, much higher quality meat. $3.50 for a Diet Coke and $1.00 per refill. That is criminal pricing for the item on your menu with the highest margin of profit, and they do not tell you beforehand that refills are extra. And the waitress was so reluctant to get me refills, at one point, I had to walk to the counter to get a refill. They were not super busy, but she (the owner) was the only person working the front of the house. Three not very large sodas for $5.50 total... Circle K sells a 44-ounce soda for $1, tax included, and I am sure they still make a profit. Angel (the owner) was super friendly except for when asking for refills, but took a really long time to get back to me for anything. It was nice that she brought the check to the table and took my payment there instead of at the counter, since I walk with a cane. But no amount of friendliness, cleanliness, or nice decor will overcome bad food, especially at these prices.
