Unfortunately, this was not what I expected it to be. The food was mediocre. The drink was okay. The final straw was the bartender was putting her leg up on the sink behind the bar. The only time she came by was to grab my half eaten plate of food.

We ordered food to be delivered. It came nice and hot. Our gumbo was very peppery. Our jambalaya did not have much sausage. The cornbread was fantastic. The shrimp po boy was also fantastic. It was okay overall, but we probably would try another place next time just because we felt like two of our main items were not to our liking.

I really wanted to like this place , the food came out fresh and was tasty , however, the service was terrible . It took a while for our order to be taken and the waiter didn't comeback and check in on us once. I brought it to his attention but it seemed like no big deal. The cornbread was really moist and yummy and the catfish was fried pretty good. Based on the service I don't see myself revisiting this place again.

5pm Thursday Happy Hour Meetup with my friend. But HH ended at 5pm First time here, ordered a Cab and a couple appetizers. The bar servers were super friendly and attentive. The place was empty when we arrived but it started filling up after 5:00. I'm a hush puppy fanatic so I was looking forward to trying the jalapeno hush puppies. Unfortunately, I did not like them It was the texture and the greasy flavor that did it for me. The okra was good though. Ultimately this seems like a cool spot for happy hour after work but you should go before 5:00 if you want the happy hour specials. Next time, 4pm Meetup

If you want to feel like you're in New Orleans then this is the place for you! The building itself made me feel like I was on bourbon street again. The rooftop bar and staff were all fabulous and extremely welcoming! I can't recommend the bbq shrimp mac & cheese enough!! The food was all delicious! 10/10 will be coming back!

I came in on a Monday around 2pm and it was pretty empty and I just wanted a small snack while I waited for my friend. I got a cup of gumbo and it was super flavorful and had a little kick. It was nice and hot and honestly some of the best gumbo I've had. The server was friendly and came over a couple times to check on me. It really feels like you're in New Orleans with the decor and I will definitely come back to try the other items on the menu!

Every city needs a Nola Jane. While in the area, I heard good things about this place from locals, so I had to try. Spot-on Cajun cuisine. Crawfish Etouffee is some of the best I've had and perfectly spicy. So good! Jalapeño Hushpuppies were tasty, and the server gave us three different sauces to dip. I love sauces. Ambiance good, service good. Highly recommend!

A fitting stop for my wife and my honeymoon trip due to the fact our first major vacation outside of family visiting was to the great old NOLA. I always have an appreciation for places outside of their that do their take on Cajun food. We walked in and grabbed two bar seats and were greeted by the friendly bartender who brought us water and menu was through a QR code. No drinks for us during this night but I am sure they do some tasty cocktails and may be a reason to return. Besides bar they have some higher tops and some low tops available as well. If you have experienced the food scene of NOLA you know it has so many word class spots and such a rich history as well. Truly such a renowned cuisine I am not sure places outside of the area for the most part can live up to the same quality. This was a solid attempt, my wife got a fried chicken sandwich and I got a fried catfish poboy with some collard greens! My wife enjoyed the chicken but wished it was a little more crispy. The catfish was good as well but there is just something special about a poboy in actual NOLA! I will say though despite that if you are in the Denver area and have a craving for Cajun food this seems to be the top notch spot. A cheaper alternative than booking a flight to New Orleans (although if you have not visited before go sometime...but that's for a different time).

The food was good , it was better then I thought based on photos , great vibes and I would def go back . The reason for a 4 rating and not a 5 is my catfish po boy , not gonna lie it was good but I feel like my catfish could have been a bit meatier 8.3/10 , red beans and rice 8/10 and that corn bread 9.2/10 ,French fries when they are hot 8.7/10 do not let them get cold and try to eat them again later unless you got a fryer of some sort . The wife had Jambalaya I didn't taste it cause I was crazy full but she loved it 8.6/10 per her taste buds . Yes I 100 percent recommend going also with my po boy I know it's Cajun but a mild choice would have made it tastier and probably wouldn't matter as much about the meatiness not being there ,all in all tasty indeed . And it cost 70 dollars for us to eat , wife had collared greens I didn't taste that either and I don't remember what she said it was. Over all food and experience 8.8/10

After trying to go to traditional brunch spots while visiting my daughter but not wanting to wait for hours, we stopped by here on a Sunday for lunch and sat on their patio. The barkeep, Katelyn, was outstanding. She wasn't our server but took great care of us anyway. The hurricanes are batch-made but pretty good. And, the maque-choux (fried corn) was deee-licious. The shrimp po-boy and fried okra was yummy, but the mac & cheese was really just pasta with sauce. My daughter loved her catfish and her friend enjoyed her shrimp and grits.

A standout selection in a sea of foodie options. Make this stop a must next time you are in Denver, CO. Everything is bursting with flavor. Greens catfish, shrimp , rice Seasoning and spices very pleasing to the palette. I had the cornbread and it was rich and sweet just as expected and enjoyed. The only issue you will have is trying not to order everything that catches your eye

    Crawfish Etouffee and Draft Hurricane

Had 12 hours in Denver and decided to go and explore the city. Looked through TikTok and it was recommended to try a few places. Nola Jane came up and I decided to try them out. Mid day on a Monday the restaurant was not busy and was seated quickly. The server instructed us to scan the menu and went away to help other tables. When asking the server questions they seemed impatient and overwhelmed. Ordered the Happy Hour Draft Hurricane which was all you needed. That drink was strong and got right to the point. No games are played one was enough, two I would have needed a wheelchair to get back on the plane. Then ordered their crawfish ettoufee and when I say it was heaven on earth!! The roux was so smooth and buttery. I asked for white rice and it was the perfect addition to the nice Cajun kick at the end. The garlic bread was the rice piece to scoop up any remaining sauce. 100/10!!!

    Crawfish Etouffee

Super flavorful food, a rare find in Denver ! Would recommend, my bf loved the alligator tacos as well! Check this place out !

Turns out... they're showing off. We ordered the exact same dishes--the Sweet & Spicy Chicken and the Shrimp & Grits--and somehow they were just as ridiculously good as we remembered. I honestly can't remember the last time I cleaned an entire plate at a restaurant without eventually saying, "I'm full." Apparently, Tupelo Honey doesn't recognize those words. The cocktails were fantastic, the food was outstanding, and then we noticed something that probably should come with a warning label: a table with self-serve champagne on tap. Thankfully, we exercised the rarest form of adult self-control and didn't sit there. The Hangover Gods nodded in approval. But then we saw the $3 mimosas... so naturally we made a couple of questionable--but delicious--life decisions. As if that wasn't enough, they also have daily drink specials. Three-dollar martinis? That's the kind of math I can get behind. Do yourself a favor and give Tupelo Honey a try. The food is consistently excellent, the drinks are dangerously affordable, and you'll probably leave wondering why you ever eat anywhere else. Just remember... your willpower is about to be tested.

Service: 10/10. Bar staff was excellent, very friendly and fast. Food came out of the kitchen very quickly as well. Food: The menu had a lot of really interesting options, I got the Bluegrass Benedict. It was amazing. Literally one of my favorite benedict dishes I've had. It had layers and layers of flavors between the greens, sauce, and toppings. The home fries were crispy on the outside + soft on the inside perfection. The only part that wasn't stellar was the pork belly itself, have definitely had better, but everything else blew me away. The portion size was large. Value: I paid $22 after tip, it was a big portion and I had to eat some later (although not as good as fresh), overall great quality and service so would say value on point. Accessibility: There was street parking in front. There is a ramp to the door. I had a great meal and would recommend highly and would go again if back in the area.

Kids' Mac and cheese was not the same receipe as last time; it was a different noodle and seemed to be needing some salt as it was pretty bland. Unlike our last visit they did not include an ice cream for dessert. My fried chicken and waffles was ok--the breading was a bit soggy though and I much preferred the Nashville hot chicken from my last visit. Leven Supply was our second stop, but they had been seized by the State due to unpaid taxes! Fortunately Lucile's is right across Alameda Avenue from Leven and we found them humming along at their usual pace. We were greeted by Brad, a particularly friendly, personable, and efficient server and soon seated in the comfortable dining room which features just the right number of New Orleans-themed tchotchkes. My girlfriend ordered Eggs Sardou which features creamed spinach, Gulf shrimp, poached eggs, and Hollandaise. She chose the jalapeño cheese grits. I had Eggs Pontchartrain with pan-fried mountain trout, poached eggs, and Béarnaise plus the plain cheese grits. My girlfriend had never been to Lucile's. She was thrilled with her dish. That said, it's also pretty cramped, and the wait times can be long (sometimes even longer than quoted). One thing we do appreciate is how they've made the waiting experience more comfortable. There's a somewhat hidden upstairs waiting area that's especially nice during those unpredictable winter days, and you can even grab a drink in a tiny room tucked away on the other side of the dining area. It's a thoughtful touch that helps pass the time. The staff are consistently friendly and create a warm and inclusive atmosphere. As for the food - there's a lot to love. The Eggs Sourdou, Pain Perdu, and Bennifer standout. The jalapeño grits are another highlight. On the flip side, the Cajun breakfast with red beans and rice was a bit much- it became overwhelming after a few bites, so I probably wouldn't go that route again. Overall, the food is impressively comparable to what you'd find in New Orleans, which is such a treat to have close to home. With more Creole spots popping up around town, we're excited to explore and compare- but Lucille's has definitely set a high bar. You're in for quite an experience if you order the Sazerac- it's more impressive than any I've had in New Orleans.
