service was definitely not great this time, we were left alone often and got our food before we got utensils, but! not a huge deal they were busy. i got the turkey melt, super melty cheese and so yummy. i wish there was some sort of greenery though. the fries are delicious and seasoned very well. My stepdad got the Carnitas omelette and he really like the chile verde sauce, he said he was very authentic and the meat was not dry. my sister got the Country Benny, she enjoyed this as well as it's basically a fancy biscuits and gravy. I came in on a Sunday and was told I could sit at the counter because they were pretty busy. When I arrived they pretty quickly sat me at a he counter and it went downhill from there. It took about 10 minutes before someone even came and asked me for my drink order, which was coffee and water. Pretty standard. That took about another 10 minutes to be brought to my countertop, where I was the only one sitting at the counter. I ordered plain Eggs Benedict. After about 20 minutes a waitress came by and said they had a lot of takeout/delivery orders and that it was taking a little longer than normal? All in all, the meal took about 30 minutes for them to bring it to me, and when it arrived, the eggs were completely undercooked, the English muffins weren't very toasted and it was pretty gross overall. The Canadian bacon seemed like some kind of sliced lunch meat that also wasn't cooked very well. I probably ate about half of it , paid my bill and left. Well this place has changed. My mom warned me about this location that I haven't been to in about 5 years so I guess the pandemic has changed and maybe the staff. Of course I noticed one staff from back then older Hispanic male who was great back then and is great now. Now my mom was correct. I returned for the first time I can say that the portions are smaller, and the famous coffee cake didn't taste so famous this morning. The coffee cake was burnt and not fluffy. I ordered a pesto scramble. It was good but it didn't taste like it used to. I recommend this place for the older crowd which who filled the seats spilling water on his wife who sat across from him. He tried to save her but he moved too slow. I will give them another chance, but I'll wait until next year. I kind of trailed off there. I can say the food wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. The restaurant looks clean and appealing on the inside and they have plenty of staff running around. The menu is a single sheet, front, and back with plenty of options for a restaurant that is only open for breakfast and lunch. The food, however, is just ok. The general presentation of the food on the plate felt generic or empty (depending on the dish). Nothing that jumped out as appealing by the looks of it (just, generic). One plate was french toast as a combo, with two eggs and two pieces of bacon. The french toast was ok, the eggs (over medium) were ok (yet small), the bacon was far from satisfying. Overall, the person I was eating with said my plate looked pitiful (mostly empty space with a few generic items thrown in the middle). The other plate was an omelet with potatoes. Who I ate with said that their potatoes were a bit generic (nothing to write home about), and the omelet lacked fluff (they were quite flat) and flavor. It tasted close to something you'd get from a frozen meal from the grocery store. Multiple people walked by the table and only one girl ever asked to refill one of the drinks. despite the glass being at the edge of the table. Service friendliness, in general, was ok though. This visit was tolerable, but not memorable in any way compared to some of the places we have visited for breakfast here in the valley. This is hands down my favorite breakfast spot. I've been here tons of times and it's always a five-star experience. Great food and great service. They're open during this mandatory shutdown of "non-essential" businesses for to-go curbside pickup. I did that today and it was extremely easy. Just call ahead and they'll bring the food out to your car. Please do this! It stinks to see local businesses have to go through something like this. My wife has been here several times but this is my first. She was craving the Monte Cristo. I love a good Eggs Benedict. After other reviews, I got mine with the sliced avocado on the side. That just put it over the top. Very good seasoned potatoes. See my picture to see what I thought of it. My wife loved her Monte Cristo. I don't think it's anything special. Found this place on Yelp on our way out of Vegas with a large group of people. I called and reserved a table for 10 and they said that the wait would be about 15 minutes. We got there and waited about 30 minutes before they status, which is fine. I appreciated them working with us. However they sat us at three tiny tables pushed together and we were like shoved and rammed into a corner. Again, no problem, it was a last-minute request and we were grateful that they accommodated us. But then we placed our order. And it took almost an hour for the food to come out. We saw loads of food leaving the kitchen to other tables, but ours was not included. Then two people in our party got their food and ate it completely before the other dishes started coming out. My Friend had an out patient surgery and was not allowed to eat or drink prior to her procedure. We always enjoyed The Cracked Egg at other locations and we happened to see another Cracked Egg restaurant on Green Valley Parkway not too far from the surgery center. We walked into the restaurant we were told that they'd be closing in about eight minutes. and We understood we told him that we would hurry. We were told by two of the hostesses that they were closing . We asked are you sure your still serving and they assured us they were. When the waitress came to our table and we asked for a cup of coffee. She told us that they would be closing soon and we told her we would hurry as well. She brought us a cup coffee each. The coffee was old, and cold. She then disappeared and we had to wait for her to return for approximately 10 minutes later We told her it was cold and we would like a fresh cup of coffee. At $3.75 a cup we thought we were entitled to a fresh hot cup of coffee. We were told no sorry we cannot make any more coffee, because we're about to close. Needless to say we did not feel welcomed. We asked to speak with the manager. After several minutes of waiting for the manager he came to the front by the hostess stand. We told him our concerns and how unhappy we were. The Manager just said I am sorry. We said we're not going to eat here. He says oh I'm so sorry and let us walk out the door. That was it. His excuse was sorry we only have a 5 gallon pot. So we can't make a new pot. Non of our complaints even registered with the Manager. He never even asked what can we do to make you happy. Nope instead he let us walk out the door. If he were a brand new inexperienced manager then maybe his lack of hospitality could be overlooked. The Manager bragged about how he just moved over from another store and that he had been with the company a very long time. So we came down the street to another breakfast restaurant and the personal could not be any kinder or hospitable. And the breakfast is delicious. Try the Black Bear! read more

As others have said, the service here is really good, and our server was really nice. The food was good, but not awesome. Their pancakes were better than I can make at home, of course, but the hashbrowns were mediocre and the Monte Cristo was just OK. I also noticed that people who ordered the diced potatoes got A LOT of potatoes, but again, the hashbrowns were just a smallish-average serving size, which is fine except why did other people get so much more than I did? LOL Also, at $27 including the extra pancakes I ordered, I feel like it could have cost about 30% less. read more
