The fabric grabbed the clubs and it was difficult to put them all the way down. After several rounds I grew too frustrated with the bag. I brought the bag back to the store. I didn't have my receipt but the sticker on the bottom confirmed it was from the store. At first the manager said I was past my 30 day allowance and that he couldn't re- sell it since it was used. He also said the manufacturer would not take it back. I didn't abuse the bag and I wasn't belligerent with him. He graciously made an exception and allowed me to shop that day with a full refund. I didn't take notice of his name but he has a distinctive beard. Shout out to him and the well stocked store. Don't hesitate to shop there.

When I asked who can I speak to about purchasing a driver, he said it would be him, that he was going on lunch, put my name on the waiting list at the counter and it could be about a hour. I felt the interaction was abrupt. As my family and I were leaving the store, I noticed multiple associates standing not helping customers. Our country could use more immigrants like him. So I can't understand the negative reviews. I guess one or two people have had bad experiences in this store, but they aren't typical and they don't reflect the philosophy and culture of the owner. I also read the store is closing. He was very honest, accommodating and never felt like he was pushing you to buy any specific clubs or coaxing you into certain models. He isn't a car salesman and didn't act like one - his passion for the game is reflected in his work and complete focus when analyzing a player. From my initial conversation with owner John Ioris, I was immediately impressed right from the getgo that he in fact eschewed wanting to be associated with the so called "GD top golf fitters list".... After I scheduled my appt, my session with John was performed with the same level of precision of a top NYC hospital for spinal surgery. Everything was analyzed, as mentioned in the articles, measurements taken with ultra-high-speed digital cameras show ball speed, spin rate, launch angle, carry distance, total distance, and directional deviation. Furthermore, John having mastered his trade, knew what to recommend for my game, obviously after seeing thousands of swings, this comes naturally but in no way was he condescending or a "know it all".. On the contrary, he was just humble in his opinion which was refreshing... Oh, and not only that, i was also treated to a free video assessment from the local pro who shares the office which i signed up with recently and am very happy with. As Malcolm Gladwell states in Outliers, a person reaches mastery of their craft usually after 10,000 hours of practice. Now that statement and view has come under some controversy because in order to achieve that level of mastery, there must be in that practice, passion, drive, enthusiasm, commitment to improve and a devout love for the sport, music, fame, whatever endeavour. Well, John Ioris is a master of his craft and after 28 years of dedication and countless swings he doesn't need to prove it..
