Food: The food came out super fast like when our server came out with the food I thought it was for another table. Banh Mi: has a buttery hanger steak that was really nice with the thinly sliced daikon and carrots. I do think it did had a slightly strong mayonnaise that did overpower it more than I'd like to admit but overall, amazing sandwich. If you like a saucy sandwich, this would be amazing! Poutine fries were balanced. It was my first time trying it and had a really pleasant chimchurri sauce that tasted fresh. Fries had a nice flavor and texture. Coconut shrimp was very fragrant and coconutey. If you don't care for coconut, this obviously will not be the dish for you. The presentation of the dish was just so pretty we didn't want to mess it up. (Spoiler: we destroyed it) Even had fried rice noodles to top it off was a cool touch. fresh mango that was perfectly ripe. Even the sauce used on the micro greens felt homemade and well done:) Salad; so, usually I never get a salad at restaurant but with the fries earlier, it just made sense. When it came out it looked so pretty it even had a doiley. Honestly, everything ingredient paired together so well. The whole feta cheese, fresh fruit, candied walnuts and even the dressing paired. I usually don't care for salads but the presentation and the quality in the ingredients really makes a difference. You can tell the cooks care and put a lot of detail into their dishes. First off, our server was AMAZING! I didn't catch her name, but she had short hair and short red nails and she truly made our entire dinner party experience unforgettable. We were a bit on the loud side, but she didn't mind one bit and kept the vibe fun and welcoming. The food? Incredible. The bone marrow toast was out of this world, and the ribs were absolutely top tier! One of the managers (I think) stopped by our table to check on something with one of the dishes, but everything worked out perfectly. I'd definitely recommend this place and the best part? Went in last Sunday Solo... I had a taste for Eggs Benedict so here is where I landed after scouring through reviews on Yelp. I sat at the Bar and fought gnats throughout my meal Ewww... but I understand this sometimes happen when the drains aren't cleaned properly. The service was fine from the bar back and the bartender. The entrée itself was ok I also got a side of smashed breakfast potatoes they were tasty and seasoned well. I asked for my eggs runny or 'poached' but they first came out without and runniness at all :( however they quickly remedied this and the it didn't take long. It was so good honestly prob a 4.7/5 my only complaints were that it was more greasy than I expected. We also split a Caesar salad which was fire and tried the poutine fries which were good! I probably could've done without them but the chimichurri sauce on them was fire. Almost left here without trying a drink I would have regretted it if I did. My baby sister had this restaurant marked as a place to try and so for our sister dinner we decided to check it out. The ambiance is hipster/trendy. They have inside dining and outdoor dining. We chose to sit outside. They also turn on the heat lamps if it gets a little chilly. Our server was David. Five stars all around. He checked on us and made sure that we were good, he even suggested the truffle fries. Now the food, for appetizers my sister had the calamari and I had the Poutine fries. Both were delicious. I was really wowed by this place, especially not knowing what to expect. It's a new American spot, everything is designed simple modern inside, nothing overdone, which I do like. The staff have amazing attitudes and even on a busy Sunday night they were always checking up on me, goes to show their hospitality. Noteable mentions were the bone marrow toast, truffle mac n cheese and sticky fig pudding. Don't get me wrong, everything was so good but those stood out the most. The bone marrow toast literally melted in my mouth. It wasn't too salty and even had a hint of sweetness! Oh my god the truffle mac n cheese was to die for. Needs Improvement: The menu and food. Very few non meat options. Missing any lighter fare even with appetizers. We ordered the burrata and it was covered with fried arugula - just why? Fries are fried in beef tallow. I think the bread served with appetizer dishes is also toasted that way - it's just too much. Salads are drenched in dressing. For the price, this is one of my top 10 favorite restaurants right now. It's not a pretentious foie gras and truffle on everything, it's just delicious food. Absolutely spectacular place. We've been here ~5 times, and we're impressed each time. Brunch and dinner are equally good. We get the poutine every time, but other than that have tried something new each time. Portions are big, good variety of specials, ingredients seem quality to me. I do wish they had a larger beer selection as the cocktails are a little sweet for my taste, but that's a small thing. I came in yesterday 10/6 with my family. The food was really good and that is the reason I'd come back here again. However, service could 100% improve. We came in during the middle of the day and it was slow and a mostly empty restaurant, so there's no reason for it to not be good service. Our server and also the bartender who helped serve us seemed annoyed to be serving our table. It took them 15 minutes to grab us a soda, 2 teas, and 2 lemonades. They made it a point to charge us for a side of sauce and then forgot to bring it to the table so we had to flag them down for it.
