Just came in. Tried to get a table. I was a party of 4. They said 10 minute wait. Two parties came after me that were parties if 2. They wouldn't sit us because we didn't have our 4th. I told them that I would just sit down with 3 of us and cancel the 4th person. They sat both parties of two before me at tables that could accommodate 4. So I left. Whatever the wait time practice they use is ridiculous. I'll go to a restaurant that will actually sit people in the order they come. This was my first time at this restaurant and I will not be back. I have been to a few of their other locations but it was my first time at this one. This spot was smaller than the others and the tables felt more crammed together. Food was outstanding! The chilaquiles were the perfect semi crunchy texture and with some bits and pieces of the pork from the chile verde. Chorizo scramble was good too. The must have is the house potatoes cooked to perfection! It's a busy place but they make sure you are not forgotten and all are attentive to your needs most of the time before you ask for a refills they are filling your cup. I was so ecstatic to try a ribeye steak for breakfast when I was visiting town. It came with the sides of refried beans, potatoes, red, salsa, avocado, eggs, jalapenos, and green chilaquiles that our server recommended. The medium rare ribeye steak was cooked to perfection, and the green chilaquiles was still crunchy despite being drenched in delicious green sauce. The serving size is so large that the 2 of us shared 1 order and left so full and satisfied. I was so stuffed for the rest of the day. I could not imagine eating a whole order by myself. We also got a cup of hot coffee, and they had plenty of sugar and creamer at the table already. The server came and offered to refill our cup once it was empty. There is plenty of parking in the plazas parking lot. I highly recommend coming if you are looking to engorge yourself with a hefty, hearty meal. read more

We went to breakfast at about 9:00 am. We were greeted and seated immediately. The workers were pleasant and friendly. I ordered the green chilaquiles. The tortilla chips were crispy and tasted fresh. The chips maintained their crispness even though they were soaked with the green sauce and over easy egg yolk. The green sauce was not spicy and had a nice flavor. The pancakes were also ordered and they were some of the best pancakes we had in a while. Overall it was a delicious breakfast and we will be back to try more items on the menu. read more

We stopped by here for breakfast after our hike and it was such a cute little hole in the wall place. The staff here are extremely friendly. The space isn't that big so it felt very intimate. There were inside seating as well as outside. We ordered the rib eye steak and eggs, pancakes, country fried steak, and biscuits and gravy. The food portion is pretty big and filling. I got the rib eye medium well which came out correctly. The potatoes and the hash browns were crispy and extremely well seasoned. Coffee was delicious too! read more

It had great reviews so we decided to give it a try. Waiting time was about 20min. Disappointing Experience at the Rancho Cucamonga Location of Rodeo Cafe- $Money$ over customer experience. I've been a loyal customer of Rodeo Cafe for some time now, frequently visiting several of their locations and consistently enjoying both the food and service. Unfortunately, my recent visit to their Rancho Cucamonga location was a major letdown and left me questioning whether I'll return. From the start, the service felt off. The waitress who took our order was unprofessional -- she was chewing food while talking to us (albeit covering her mouth) and rushed through the ordering process without offering any information about the menu items. I ordered my usual: the green chilaquiles plate, which I've had many times before. It typically comes with meat pieces mixed in, so when the waitress asked if I wanted it with ribeye, I assumed she meant the regular meat that comes with the dish. I said yes, under that assumption. To my surprise, when the food arrived, there was a full ribeye steak on top of the standard plate -- far more than I expected or had an appetite for. I politely asked if they could take the steak back, explaining the miscommunication and that I hadn't touched the food. The waitress checked with the manager, who refused to remove the charge, saying the steak had already been cooked and that I should have clarified the order with her but she never passed by our table again and was standing talking with other staff while our plates sat at the cooks window for awhile.. as we were seated right in front of the kitchen we could see everything. As someone who also works in customer service, I found this disappointing. A bit of explanation or care in clarifying the add-on could have avoided the situation altogether. It's also important to read the customer -- I'm a smaller woman, and a full ribeye steak as an add-on isn't something I would normally go for. Dining out is a tre, especially with how tight finances are for many these days. That consideration felt completely absent from this interaction. I left the restaurant disheartened -- not because of the steak, but because of the lack of understanding and customer care. I packed up my food and left early, feeling like a loyal patron's experience was dismissed over a single item that could've been handled with more grace. I truly hope this location re-evaluates how they handle customer concerns. One poor experience can undo years of loyalty. read more

Such a disappointing experience . For starters, the dining area is so small you're back to back with the tables near you. We asked the server if she could bring out the biscuits and gravy first before our meal , she said " they're gonna forget that". The biscuits and gravy were the last thing brought to our table. Despite the reviews , the portion size of my omelette was small . My chile Rojo omelette had 2 small pieces of beef on the top of the omelet and a very small amount of cheese ! With nothing in the middle of my omelet ! At one point I was eating just eggs and salsa Rojo , if I wanted eggs and red sauce I would have just ordered that . They also don't cook the jalapeños enough it's like serving fresh jalapeños on your plate , no one was eating the jalapeños around us either. Would absolutely not visit again ! read more

We walked in I didn't want to eat here based on the appearance of the seats (cut up and not clean) the tables weren't thoroughly cleaned, the floor could've used a broom and mop trash all over. Flies all over the place I was confused but my husband was starving so we stayed. Customer service was ok from our waitress she seemed friendly enough couldn't tell you her name never got it. The food ugh! The potatoes were soggy, over cooked yet lacked flavor. I asked that my husband's bacon be cooked well done they were almost raw we asked could the give us new bacon because this wasn't cooked they put the bacon that WE TOUCHED! in grease and BURNT IT!!!! Gave it back to us it was not edible at all my dog would have declined and he's greedy. My eggs felt and taste like they had egg shells in them, toast was stale and the sprite was flat. I've heard such good things about this place and finally got to try it this morning and it lived up to the high praise Rodeo cafe is located in a strip mall close to foothill and vineyard. When you arrive you're able to seat yourself anywhere. We were immediately greeted by the staff. While perusing through menu I ordered a chocolate milk and it was delicious! I ordered the Tijuana Scrambled and it was delicious. It was such a large portion and came with a side of beans, either hash-browns or breakfast potatoes, and toast. I felt like I ate so much and barely made a dent in it and I was able to take the leftovers home. Between the delicious meal and friendly and accommodating service I will definitely be back to try more of the menu! read more
