Very knowledgable, on top of the newest stuff. Very nice. Clean store. Nice bike selection for such a small store.

This evening, we attempted to drop off my husband's eBike for a flat tire repair. When we arrived, we were told we could not use the rear parking space to quickly unload the bike, despite the fact that no one was there and it would have taken less than a minute. A staff member, who was outside smoking and behaving rudely, insisted we park further down their narrow street because "100 kids on bikes were about to arrive." We explained that we were longtime customers simply trying to drop the bike off and would move the car immediately afterward. Instead of showing any understanding, he dismissed us entirely, stated he was "on break," ignored our request to speak with the manager (who might have recognized us), and made no effort to help. When we asked again for reasonable accommodation, we were met with more disrespect, and eventually, a deeply inappropriate and insulting comment was directed at me personally. When the manager finally appeared, he acknowledged that bikes were expected to return but made no attempt to de-escalate the situation or address his employee's behavior. He then walked away and offered no help. In the several minutes we were there, no bikes or riders showed up. And rather than provide assistance, they chose instead to block the lot with cones after we moved our car. What could have been a quick and courteous interaction turned into an unnecessarily hostile one. Respect and professionalism matter, and this business lost ours today.

I thought that would be my final run in with Bike Land but boy was I wrong. As things continued on I realized I would a bunch of other things that I would need and Vincent was there to help. He helped me order panniers and racks. He custom fit my front rack and had to send back the panniers as the company had sent the wrong ones. He took it into his own hands to order everything for me and was a huge help. I have had many negative run ins in bike stores around NJ but Bike Land was quite the opposite, Vincent is a knowledgeable positive influence ont the store and all that walks in. Just hope that he does not get snatched up by a competing bike store. Thank you Bike Land and Vincent for all your hard work on my bike, panniers and racks and anyone who has any biking issues should stop by Bike Land.

At no point should bolts randomly fling off your bike while you going down the Brooklyn bridge going 24mph. I'm a high school student and I had to pay for my bike with my own money. I've been working since 10th grade to help my mom because she is a single parent so for me the loss of about 5k including repairs leave me without transportation as I can not afford to repair it at this point. I've spent 3.7k on a bike, this isn't including the repairs i had to pay over the span of a year which amount to at least 1.4k+ after random bolts detaching and motor failing, and as soon as the warranty expired my bike had a random electrical issue where the bike wouldn't accelerate. From the owner Pete: OK, where are you going? (Direct email sent from owner) 1- Last Mile NYC replaces all of the electronics on your bike. The cost of the parts and labor is $2910.54 2- Send your bike back to Super73. They will do their own diagnosis, and determine the issues and fix the problems. Unfortunately your bike is not under warranty, the cost of packing up and freighting your bike to and from Super73 will be around $1200. Plus their diagnostic fee, parts and labor. It took them THREE WEEKS to complete rather simple maintenance on my bike and even still it wasn't completed. Cory had a TERRIBLE attitude and was a complete A hole through the entire process. They refused to give me a quote and charged me 1700$ for basic maintenance. The bike doesn't even run anymore and I have to take it to another shop. I have NEVER written a review for any establishment before until I came to this sorry excuse for a buisness. do NOT come here. You will lose THOUSANDS of dollars and time while dealing with people who have no idea what they are doing. When asked about my bike failing to turn over, he suggested I get new grips. There are not enough words to describe how terrible this shop is and I advise with the utmost urgency to avoid the place at all costs. In the time it takes for your bike to get back you could have fixed it yourself and could easily surpass the very limited knowledge this joke Cory has. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE!!!!

The owner Danny and his warm-hearted technician Juan fixed the issue within an hour or so after I dropped off my rig -- Turns out my bike just needed new brake pads. A 4-pack of brake pads goes for around $10 pads, so that with 20 minutes of labor resulted in a $59 charge. My only criticism is Danny needs to make the pricing up front and visible (Honestly, I don't even know if prices are posted on the walls -- there are tools and decor all over the interior of the store). The "tune-up" buzz word is always a catch-all bill booster, but I just asked for my bike to brake. I can grease my chain myself. Took almost a month to get it back (unfinished). I called & left a message inquiring the status of my bike. The mesaage I left was never returned. I called a second time, got the owner & he forgot about my bike. He promised me he would have it ready the next day. I asked for him to call me when it was ready & I would come by and pick it up. He never called. 72 hours passed & I heard nothing from MBS. Not having a choice, I went to the shop to see what was going on. I arrived at the shop at 10am to find the shop closed & numerous customers standing outside. Not something any customer should ever see. When owners inquired what I wanted, his answer was less than satisfactory. My bike still wasn't serviced yet. They had 4 weeks to do a simple tuneup, which takes no more than 1-2 hrs tops. I wasn't pleased so I asked for my bike back. He got my bike and said, "look I washed it." He wanted praise for washing the bike. It was insulting so I offered to pay for the water used to wash the bike. The worst cycling experience I ever had & I've broken bones cycling.
