Good breakfast, but the service was a little slow. Got the Eggwich on a croissant with house potatoes. Sandwich was good, I could take or leave the house potatoes. Pretty plain Jane. Would eat here again, but wouldn't be a go-to. read more

What we ordered: Denver omelette, specialty potatoes & toast and frittata (Sicilian). The food arrived quickly and was good but didn't do much to differentiate itself from any chain breakfast place (iHop or village inn as an example). Atmosphere: we are really packed in. Servers have a hard time moving from table to table often bumping into the back of patrons. I can also reach to table next to me and eat off their plate if I chose to. This is unappealing, but probably somewhat expected in a quick in and out breakfast joint. Service was overall okay but check was deliverred prior to the end of meal which basically is a a nice way of saying hurry up. This would be a good place if you are in a hurry and are looking for an average breakfast place. If not I suggest you find a different location that is both more unique and provides better quality food. read more

You have to try the peanut butter crunch French toast. Just delish! It was perfect fuel for a big hike. Well, maybe not perfect but it was worth burning off the calories. Our server was nice and attentive. The decor is lacking but overall I would definitely go back. read more

Came to the DTC location with my fiancé for brunch during my first visit to Denver. All of my food was amazing. I had the stuffed french toast, house potatoes, eggs over medium, and those yummy Grandma's apples. Although the apples ended up being a bit too much after eating the stuffed French toast, I still managed to taste a few slices and they were really good. We also had a liter of mimosas which I really enjoyed as well. The service was great despite a bit of a wait, which was to be expected. We dined outside so I can't say much about the interior. I will definitely make this one of my goto brunch spots once I move to the area! read more

This restaruant is located very close to my office, so I stop in here sometimes when I have extra time for breakfast. It's an overall OK experience, although there's really nothing spectacular about the food or service. This morning, I was seated at a table that didn't have ketchup, so I had to wait for my server to come back to request a bottle of ketchup. Also, if you dine alone, they will serve you a small pot of coffee. I had 3 1/2 cups - about 24 oz or so. I wouldn't have minded more coffee, but I was running short on time, and I didn't ask for a refill on my pot. read more

Fast, efficient, friendly service. I stopped in on a Thursday around noon and was seated immediately. After looking through a few different breakfast places close to our hotel we ended up at this one. Specifically after seeing the skillet pics on here. Menu is extensive and should cover all appetites. We both ordered coffee and we each received our own coffee pot (which is a huge plus). I had the aspen skillet and my companion had the Idaho skillet. Food was delicious! We are from out of town and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a hearty breakfast. The gluten free blueberry pancakes were pretty awful. They were very bitter tasting, although the texture was good. Also got a cafe aulait which was not good and not at all like a real one. The atmosphere was nice and the server was friendly, though, which is why it gets three stars from me instead of one. I should have gotten something more basic like eggs and plain coffee. read more

My wife and I heard about this location and traveled all the way from Michigan to visit. While the food was delicious the service was terrible. Our server never checked back on us after taking our order. I sent my food back because it was cold and even after that our server never came back to see how we were doing. I'm not sure if the individual serving us didn't want to serve us or not because he was kind and checked on the surrounding tables he had. I have never experienced such terrible service in my life. Low on flavor but high on price. They always have a special on the chalkboard that sounds delectable, but is disappointing in terms of flavor and originality. I have been here on multiple occasions just because they happen to be walking distance from the Sheraton but I won't be back. read more

The food was horrible. The hash browns were oily, the potatoes doughy, the steak was kind of tough and the salmon was fishy (hopefully I'll be ok). The servers are hard workers, though. It was just not good. You're better off going to a Starbucks. read more

I don't understand how there were so many good reviews. Maybe we went on a bad day but can you really suck in making all plates. We went around 10AM for our anniversary and eeww just everything was weird. Our waiter looked like he was scared for his life for everything. My "Hot chocolate" was weird it tasted like they put too much water and then they just added one of those super cheap hot chocolate packets on it. For food, my hash browns were cold and burnt :( and my french toast looked like they were just TOAST! I was so sad! and my husbands pancakes were not good either they were kind of hard. Even the apple juice was bad. oh man. maybe the cook was having a bad day or they just are bad all the time but when people eat there maybe they are really hungry and thats why it tastes good. eh idk read more

Don't eat here unless you want people screaming in the back pretty much at your table, mold on your food, and only family working at this CHAIN restaurant. This place was a waste of time and money. ESPECIALLY don't eat here unless you want food poisoning. The eggs Benedict I got was supposed to be normal, the sauce was pretty much only mustard with a spiciness to it, and looked fucking gross. Wow, this place is great. The waitstaff is friendly and accomodating. Kayla was great to us, and specializing orders is really great for dietary restrictions. Friendly atmosphere and great food! I had the Truly French Toast which was more than enough served with grandmas apples. I decided to add toast which they have almost any option for toast. I may be back in the morning for pancakes. Came back for the pancakes. You are served 3 large pancakes served with a scoop of whipped butter. I ordered raisin bread toast as the side which my server said was the Cadillac of toast. My wife ordered a waffle which was crunchy until she soaked it in syrup but none the less was great. A bit disappointed. Went with my family for breakfast and got the waffle combo with a topping of fruit. The waffle was burnt, it had WAY too much butter, and there was barely any fruit. I payed $2.00 + for that fruit so I expect to get a lot more. I got my eggs scrambled; they were extremely boring and had no seasoning at all. Service was also a bit slow. Came on a Saturday morning. Place was packed but we were seated right away. Service was fantastic - our waitress was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and the manager visited our table to make sure we were satisfied. The only thing I was not thrilled about were the specialty potatoes. Not very flavorful. But the Fiesta skillet was delicioso. We came here for my daughter's birthday breakfast. They provide both crayons and wiki sticks (bendable wax strips) for kids to keep them occupied. For birthdays they give a amazing homemade cinnamon roll. I'm not sure what was in it, but I'm pretty sure it's addictive enough to be on the controlled substance list. The food in general was fantastic. I had the breakfast burrito with the green chili. Service was prompt and friendly. Coffee was delicious. Left feeling like we ate too much, because it was difficult to stop eating. read more

I ordered biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and home fried potatoes. The eggs were barely warm and relatively tasteless. They should be able to cook tasty eggs. The potatoes were on the cold side as well. The gravy was delicious, but the biscuits were fairly chewy. On the plus side, nothing was overly salty. We went here twice while we were in town for a convention because all the hotel offered was cereal and oatmeal and f that noise. I wanted eggs. The first morning I ordered a savory crepe and asked for no onions... but alas, onions. I powered through it and picked them out like the complacent midwesterner I am but was still left with a pretty mediocre breakfast crepe with very little chicken. Whatever. It's a diner. It's fine. I'm not expecting champagne and steak frites. Just eggs. Second morning I decide to go totally on menu. No exclusions. No changes. They still managed to leave avocado off a dish that boasts avocado and gave me home fries instead of hash browns. This day, this day I spoke up. I got back a plate that they had just scraped some of the home fries off of and tossed on a couple slices of avocado. After I'd almost finished eating the Benedict anyway I was brought out a plate of oily, underdone hash browns. Le sigh. But the coffee was okay and they leave the carafe at the table so that's a perk... And all the waitstaff knows how to smile. They will smile very pleasantly as they do not get your order correct. read more

The absolute worst meal my husband and I have had in our entire life! At first the waiter look at us like we had ten heads when we asked for the special drink that was on the board outside and inside ...so we got different ones, but not 15min later another waiter confirmed they did have them and got them for us. What?! We were at a table for 8 and when we got our gross food she said oops she forgot to put in my husbands order it will be right out. He clearly confirmed again no sour cream and that it came with tomatoes. Neither happened. First I looked at my food and said wow it even looks disgusting (crab cake Benedict what was I thinking). The eggs were overcooked, hard, and cold, they forgot I asked for avocado, and instead of potatoes I asked for a side salad, great, but it had ham mixed in. What basic salad comes with ham? It took ridiculously long to get another plain salad and avo, but I didn't have the heart to send back my whole plate so I hate the hard cold eggs and English muffing with some lettuce... my husband said his meal was bland and gross too. The rest of the day our stomachs hurt and we could barely eat dinner we were still so grossed out. I didn't even tell you about the straight sugar drinks. Only 2 of the 6my table had tasted ok... I'm done ranting... just still grossed out and obviously never going back. read more
