Service is very slow and disorganized. Ordered a Jumbo Cheese Burger and fries, Waited and waited and waited. People who ordered after me had received their food and where finishing up their meal and I still didn't have my burger. Finally someone noticed I had been waiting a long time. They couldn't find my order after looking at my receipt. They refused to refund my money. I will be disputing the charge with the credit card company and I will not return to the Middleburg Deli. read more

Fast, reliably good, reasonably priced (bare in mind that this is on Main Street Middleburg). Pedro is one of the nicest guys in this town and so is his wife Maria. It took about 15 minutes for two sandwiches to go-- our egg salad sandwich had a long black hair in it and my turkey breast sandwich was just okay. We came to Middleburg for a weekend getaway at Salamander. We noticed the Middleburg Deli when walking around one evening and decided to get lunch there today. The food was excellent, I can't say that anything was sub 5 stars on the food. And the price point is perfect. That said, one of the employees wasn't wearing a mask and they weren't requiring masks for patrons. Maybe they're not required, but I definitely felt unsafe with all of the unmasked people in a small space. We're it not for the mask situation, this would be a 5-star deli. read more

I got the double play sandwich on toasted pumpernickel bread. I was so excited when the sandwich came out I took a bite immediately and then devoured it in less than a few minutes so I don't have any pictures for you. Top five sandwiches I've ever had in my life. Very small inside so not much room for seating. Luckily we were there on a nice day and could take advantage of the quaint outside patio. This little hidden deli is the best for a quick lunch out of the house. Limited indoor seating, plenty outside. They have a huge menu of hot and cold sandwiches, my favorite is the Cajun Chicken! I decided to take my parents to Dank's on a weekend home simply because the word 'DANK' was in the title of the establishment. I had a roast beef sandwich which was so cheesy and delicious but a little on the salty side. Mom had the Berkeley which she says was 'excellent.' Had lunch at Dank's Deli on Friday in Middleburg, Va. First I asked the cashier what she recommended either the Turkey Breast or Smoked Turkey Breast and really didn't get a definite answer. I went with with Turkey Breast on Kaiser Roll with lettuce and tomato. The turkey was processed turkey roll and I have to admit the turkey in KMart is a couple of notches above the sandwich I ordered. Totally bland with no taste. It had a razor thin piece of tomato on the sandwich with one very small piece of lettuce. The sandwich was $6.50 which I thought to be a total ripoff. Whoever said this is the best deli around is living on another planet. Just horrible and just a one time eatery for me. No thanks......I gave it 2 stars because the cashier was nice and the place had atmosphere to it. The food, well eh. that's a whole other subject. read more

Great deli. I'm partial to local delis like this since I used to work in one, so Dank's was perfect for lunch. They were friendly, reasonably priced, and quick. Oh, and my sandwich was delicious (they even toasted my sandwich just the way I like it). This isn't a fine dining experience so if you're looking for some fancy-pantsy lunch, this might not be your spot. But, if you're wanting a good burger, sandwich, or chili dog that delivers on all the flavor, then you should try Dank's. I'll be stopping by here on my next trip through middleberg. read more

I wish I still lived close to Danks so I could eat it all the time! My favorite is the California cruiser! Its loaded with flavor and melted cheese with a delicious pesto mayonnaise. Its traditionally a vegetarian sandwich but most of the time i get turkey on it (one dollar a slice). they have a great selection of bottled soda (coke in a glass jar) and route 11 potato chips to choose from! Other favorite sandwiches of mine are the cheese steak, double play, and egg salad. they also have soups, and make sure you take a peak at their specials of the day board thats tucked away to the right of the counter below their regular menu. During the summer is the best time to go when you can sit outside and wait for your food/eat outdoors, but in the winter time you have to cram in and hope to score one of the four tables located inside. The effect of the food on your tastebuds will let you easily forget your loss of elbow room though! read more

Quaint little deli shop with the usual suspects in the menu! Classic feeling, with a lot of coca cola memorabilia along with famous patrons on the walls. There is seating for about 6 or 7 people inside with some seating outside. You order at the counter from a huge menu of sandwich options. This place is "hole in the wall" for Middleburg and they have prices to match. Lots of great sandwich options for under $10. The food is superb and made fresh to order. Be wary of the baked goods. We wanted to go for a short drive so we looked around and decided to go to middleburg to check out the old town. Of course we had to look on yelp to find something to eat and this place had a great review. It was pouring that day and we couldn't sit outside. but from the look, outside had tables set up. It's a small tiny deli with very friendly people working. We ordered reuben, philly cheesesteak and fries. These were delicious. Just like the pictures posted here, they look good and taste like one. Dank's is always my go to stop when i am in Middleburg around lunch time. Their sandwich are great and to be honest i can't really pick a favorite. I try to pick a different one every time i stop in and can't say i'v tried one i didn't like.
