Was visiting my boyfriend's family in Florida for the holidays and we visited the Deli Llama for lunch. And HOLY COW the sandwiches are amazing! I got the Cheesy McCheeserton (5 different kinds of cheeses!) It's technically on the "secret menu" aka it used to be on the menu but they took it off. However they would love to make it for you. It's the best grilled cheese I have ever had and trust me I know and LOVE cheese! The sandwich it self was too big for me to finish in one sitting (tbh I have a small stomach) but it was still super yummy (or by the words of the chef "even better") when put in the air fryer at home for a late night snack! read more

The location is quaint and fun as I think it used to be an old service station. However, if you have more than 4 people you MUST sit outside as they won't let you put tables together (probably a fire code thing) so for us it was hot because we had 6 people. You order at the counter and then they eventually bring your food out. And it's brought out one order at a time, not one table at a time. Those are whatever. The reason I really gave it 3 stars is the following: the staff is nice enough but not overly nice, most of the sandwiches have spicy something on them and I can't do spice. I got a salad because I really felt like I couldn't eat any of the sandwiches. However, the portions are big and possibly sharable if you aren't overly hungry. I'd be back if I weren't picking the place but it's not my first choice of places to eat. read more

It's very cozy yet clean, as visitors are welcomed with comfy couches and refrigerators of beer. Wonderful experience tonight at the Deli Llama . Our taste buds took a joy ride starting with the sake cocktails "the dirty donkey " and a wonderful small plate of goat cheese on small breads with fresh herbs and olives . The cranberry salad with apples and cheese and freakiest freshest greens was perfect . The king sliders provided the punch with flavor that definitely was the king of the table . Sitting outside we loved the vibe as our little chi chi was able to be in the night air enjoy the music which was fresh and current . Ending with the chocolate mousse which was beyond yummy . This gastro pub is just what we have been looking for as we are new to the area and enjoy small plates which pack flavor and artistry in presentation . We visited the Deli Llama recently and were kind of disappointed in the experience. Ordered a Reuben and an Italian. Two iced teas as well. We had to ask where the iced tea was after waiting about 10 minutes. It then took well over 35 minutes for our two sandwiches to come out. Unacceptable when you are on your lunch break. I don't feel the wait was worth it for the quality of the food. The Reuben was huge, but was underdressed with the thousand island dressing, it was non-existent. Not a lot of flavor, and was cold in the middle. Also would have liked a side of cole slaw or chips to be included. The Italian panini was better, nice and crispy bread and was fresh and yummy. Will give this place another chance, seems like the salads come out much quicker than the sandwiches. read more

Stopped in for an early dinner. The food is excellent! When you enter the restaurant, the smell tell you you're in for a real treat! I'm giving them 3 stars for creative sandwiches. Croissants are from a plastic supplier bag, hardly worthy of DLs otherwise creativeness. The buns are fresh but seem to be sourced similarly...in my mind, the mark that distinguishes a great eatery from a regular one. By far "our best selling sandwich" the Cuban was disappointing. Pulled pork inside was slimy and I'd asked for extra pickles and mustard, I got NONE? With a soda from a well-stocked cooler my tab was $13...WAY TOO MUCH for lunch. Right now, Monday, I was going to give them another chance...CLOSED, despite nothing (including their schedule) indicating WHY. DL is ok but today cost you another star! read more

I love this place. I'm a foodie and the wife of a chef, and can be kind of particular about my food. My husband and I moved from VA a few months ago to FL and our local friends said drop in...first time we came, the owners (husband and wife) both shook our hand, checked on our take of our paninis which were some of the best we'd ever had (the hot mess is a cheesy glorious tasty mess) and talked with us. 2nd drop by and the same thing happened, only difference was the day of the week and another excellent sandwich to try. They obviously love their place and the decor of the place is just the right blend of retro style and then a bit...off, you'll understand if you visit, it's very cool (I love the dolls head in the window)!! They also have old soft chairs in a couple conversation nooks, plus the traditional tables so its cozy and nice. And the selection of beers as and rare sodas makes me smile. Very disappointed. I placed a curbside order online @ 12:03. My confirmation email said 20 - 30 minutes. I called when I got there at 12:19 p.m. told the lady I was already outside. She said she would see if my order was ready and bring it out. I called back at 12:37 p.m. and was told that I still needed to pay and they were to busy to deal with curbside. I had paid for my order online she then asked me about the wrong order. She finally brought me my food at 12:43 (which would have been fine) & told me that if I'd noticed online it says a 30 minute wait. While I was trying to speak she interrupted me & started walking off. I said excuse me I was speaking & started to ask for her manager when she interrupted me again to tell me that I was rude. I was a little shocked by the $8 price for a breakfast bagel sandwich until I saw it come out. No skimpy bacon portion or sub par ingredients here. It was perfection.
