Rather than addressing my concern, the employee refused to give me the order and called over the owner or manager. When he asked what the issue was, I explained that I simply wanted to bring attention to the fact that I had not been acknowledged when I entered the restaurant. He responded by saying that he knew I was a DoorDash driver and that the food was not ready. I asked how he could have known I was a DoorDash driver if no one had ever greeted or spoken to me. Instead of answering the question, he asked if I was going to take the food or not and told me I needed to leave because he was tired of dealing with me. He then began raising his voice, insisting that my wait was due to the food not being ready. I repeatedly explained that my concern was never the wait time. I understand that food preparation takes time. My issue was that no one acknowledged me when I arrived. Without speaking to me, the staff had no way of knowing whether I was a DoorDash driver, a customer dining in, or someone else needing assistance.
