First I want to thank our Salesman for being as kind as he has been to my Husband and I. He was very caring and wanted to assure my Husband and I were happy and satisfied with our purchase of our Wedding Rings. He has been very dedicated to us, and certainly wanted the best for us. He definitely deserves a nice shout out. I am only giving The Diamond Company 3 stars because it did take some time for my Husband to get the right size ring, I do not blame our salesman or the store for this, it was just a silly mistake, but it the end it turned out just fine. Since it did take some time though, our salesman generously made it up to us by knocking off a little on our financing. I appreciate the assertiveness you made in keeping in contact with us while we waited for the right size ring, also during the time we waited my Husband was offered a substitute so we had a ring for our Wedding Day. That was a really great offer and we definitely appreciate that. My Husband very much Loves his ring. Knocking off a bit of the financing is not the only generous thing our salesman did for us. The first Bridal Set we bought for me ending up not being the right Engagement and Band, after a few months I was really unhappy with what I picked out for various reasons. I do admit that Unfortunately before we spoke to our salesman about my unhappiness with my set I did write a rather rude and disgruntled yelp review which I apologize for doing and deleted it as soon as our salesman called my Husband to ask us to come back in. I retract my statements in my last review. In keeping with making sure we were satisfied our salesman happily exchanged my set for a different and beautiful upgrade. I am very sorry I went to yelp before I personally made an attempt to contact the store directly, this was a big mistake and I am happy to say our guy was very willing and helpful in making sure we got the right set. I am very happy with my what I have now and am so grateful for the store being willing to allow me to exchange the rings. Good highlights of this store: They do have financing, which is great! It took very little time to be approved for the financing. They have a decent selection of rings. There is a guy on sight to work on and adjust jewelry, polish and such, so you can actually walk out the same day with rings fitted, I did this with my first set, which was pretty great. Our guy was attentive and dedicated to building rapport with us, he stuck with us the entire time, which I think is very nice. I also like that they have chairs for customers. The big question: Would we shop there again. Yes, since we were able to build a rapport with our salesman, he knows us, we like him, he did do a good job, they have great prices and I dont think we would get the same kind of attention as we did there somewhere else. My fiancé and I had picked up our rings a week before our 1 year anniversary but decided we would wait to wear them until the day of. Well that day we went camping and our rings were scratched while we were at the lake climbing over some rocks. We were so upset that the 1st day we wore them we scratched them. I called The Diamond Ring Co. in Hayward and the manager, Ali, said to come in and they'd fix it at no charge. We were very grateful to them. Mine was fixed back to its original state but my fiancé's ring was more scratched on the sides and they either missed those areas or were unable to get them out.
