Breakfast was delicious! The staff were friendly and attentive. The bathroom is very well heated but the restaurant is a little chilly, so bring a sweater. They offer a senior menu which includes everything from soup to dessert and we will certainly come back to try it!

Average diner downtown in Jamesburg. It has the usual food you would see in a diner - many options and always a classic. We came for breakfast so we got some breakfast food. The person I was with got the egg combo and I got an omelette special. It was okay and it did come out a bit cold. The service was a bit slow and our waiter seemed flustered. We were ready to put in our order and were told to wait a minute. Then when we got our food it took a minute for her to come around for the syrup and butter that went with our waffle. Overall it was an okay experience.

I went here for breakfast this morning and it was great. Nice place and easy to get to. Our waitress Sue was great. She was new but handled herself well. Very personable and frequently checked in on us. All the food we got was definitely worth it. We were both stuffed. The waffles and fruit were good! I've never had peaches as an added fruit. The mix was good. The diner skillet was delicious! A lot of food comes in that. I'd definitely come back here again. Cute place downtown

A nice place to stop for breakfast before hitting up six flags. It's about 25 minutes from the park. Solid breakfast nothing fancy, but great waitstaff! Accommodating to our large large and very sweet/helpful.

A small diner. Great staff and service. Food is typical diner but nicely presented and hits the spot early in the morning.

We were driving from NYC to visit friends outside Philadelphia, and The Diner was around the halfway point. I called ahead because we were going to arrive near closing, but they were happy to accommodate. The servers and patrons were all friendly. I got the steak and eggs with sides of bacon and hollandaise, and it was excellent (though the steak I asked for medium-rare was more like a medium, that's within spec for breakfast diners). I subbed a vegetable for my home fries. They only had zucchini - whichI thought a good sign, means they're getting what's fresh and in season - and it was very good as well, served in a tomato sauce. My bacon was crisp and juicy but somehow soft as well. My partner got the diner skillet, and she liked what she got. Everyone was friendly to our 6 month old, who sat in a high chair for the first time (with the staff's encouragement) and tried a bit of our food (and the table). He liked the hollandaise and the bacon. The bigger bathroom has a changing table, but it's at a bit of an angle and our baby DID NOT like it. But this is a common problem and won't deter us from returning. Overall, very happy we tried this place! Will try to come back on our return trip.

Love their chicken salad club and their matzoh ball soup is my go-to when I'm not feeling good. Love this little spot!

Great food and great owners/staff! We normally go for breakfasts, but the few times we've done dinner, we were never disappointed.

One of my biggest qualms was Service and that is surely improved quite a bit. Keep up the good work!

We had a family dinner at Amici and ordered the Works, the Sicilian, a Chicken Parm sandwich, and…read morethe lentil soup. The Sicilian was just okay -- the crust felt pretty basic and didn't really deliver that signature Sicilian style. The Works had good flavor, but it was overloaded for the crust, so it ended up being a fork‑and‑knife situation. The Chicken Parm sandwich was solid, and the lentil soup was genuinely good. For dessert, we tried the tiramisu and the cheesecake. Both were enjoyable, but the group leaned toward the cheesecake as the winner. The staff was very friendly, which added a nice touch to the meal.

For this particular evening, service was friendly and quick. I ordered lentil soup and a Caesar salad. The lentil soup was good... just needed salt and pepper. If you order the Caesar, make sure that you order with the dressing on the side. The dressing is good, but boy do they really saturate it! Mine was swimming in dressing, which made it a bit hard to eat. My daughter ordered chicken alfredo and she really really disliked the chicken. She said that it tasted" fake".. and there was a lot more chicken than pasta--which depending upon who you are, may be a good thing. I did absolutely LOVE their bread! I heard that they are made from pizza dough? I could've eaten a million of them. Overall, was a decent experience. I do want to come back to taste their pizza, which I don't believe I've ever had.
