Good food but over priced. You also have to share a table with other people, which is a little weird.

Classic americana diner, absolutely delicious food, and wonderful service with a smile. Just what…read moreyou picture it would be in a small town diner in the morning, complete with a big group of regulars that are eager to get in when the place opens at 5:30 AM!! Had a classic breakfast with scrambled eggs bacon and toast, with a side of biscuits and gravy, can't say enough how good the food is!! I was there with my son, at 5:30 AM, to grab a bite to eat before his academic club competition. Can't wait to go back with the whole family!!

I saw several reviews obviously of locals this place but I assure you there is nothing to see here…read more I was pretty hungry too when I stopped in which lets you know just how below average the food was. I ordered the chicken fried steak with white gravy, fried okra, "Mac and cheese" and "cornbread" Let's start with what went well! I was greeted and sat rather quickly and my drink order was taken. The food came out super fast and now I know why! My country fried steak was a country fried steak, no more no less! My fried okra was fried okra previously frozen I'm sure. The "Mac and cheese" HAHAHA! Was Kraft and was ice cold( Literally ) Zero flavor, zero seasoning, they didn't even try to dress it up. My " Cornbread? Was a blob of tasteless cornmeal and flour that was so dry and tasteless that I took a bite and spit it in my napkin. NOPE!! Just NOPE... The ambiance was kind of like a middle school cafeteria, just there.

There are parking spaces along the side of the building as well as other spaces further away. I did not notice any handicapped spaces but the lot is paved so travel is easy. Walking in, the counter is on the left. There are several stools along the counter as well as opposite facing the side window. We were greeted immediately by the friendly staff. The menu is on the wall behind counter. It is pretty simple and covers all the basic diner items. We placed our order from the counter seats and waited no more than 10 minutes for the food to arrive. The waitress placed a checkerboard pattern wax paper down on the counter which was a nice touch, even though the counter was clean when we sat down. My dining partner and I both ordered a cheeseburger. I asked for fries and my dining partner wanted onion rings. Both meals filled the plate they were served on. The burgers had a nice char and were slightly greasy, as any good diner burger should be. The lettuce, etc. were all fresh and the bun was soft. The fries were cooked properly with a nice crunch outside and soft inside. The onion rings were very good, being nicely crunchy on the outside with soft onion inside. These were about the perfect definition of a good onion ring. We wound up spending $22.94 for lunch for two, but that also included a cheesecake dessert I forgot to take a photo of. I can tell you it was very good and made for a great ending to a really good meal. I would assume their breakfast menu items are just as good as their burgers, so would have no hesitation trying those as well if I am passing through in the morning.
