Service was great! Pizza was even better than expected! Super fresh taste sauce and basil. The place was almost empty when we got here, but filled up entirely.

First off to start, I'm unsure why they have bar in their name. They only have beer, cider and wine. That's fine. Was just misled by their name, expecting more. I had oven roasted salmon with what was supposed to be a teriyaki glaze on top but it was more like a syrup. The mushroom risotto was good. The pizzas that we ordered were good. The price for the child's slider was crazy for the tiny thing that we received. My personal opinion otherwise are the chairs. They are cold and uncomfortable.

A work trip brought me to Eureka, so I had an opportunity to try out some of the offerings here. This was our choice for dinner before heading back. Really amazing pizzas arrived at our table, straight from the cool-looking brick oven! I really enjoyed the garlic and clam pizza - super garlicky and tasty! My coworker really enjoyed his cup pepperoni pizza, too. The server was helpful and quick to get our orders in, but wasn't pushy or intrusive. The decor is really amazing. Lotsa antique diver-related photos, plus huge canvases and other art by local artists. And the ceiling is pressed tin, with cool light fixtures. All around, awesome spot! Add it to your list!

Probably the best pizza we've had outside of Italy! Sean the owner is super friendly and we were sitting close enough to the pizza oven to chat with him while we ate. Burger was delicious, salad was huge and fantastic, and the pizzas are handmade and the dough is perfect. Sean even built his own pizza oven. Great beer selection. The Diver is a must when you're in Eureka!

We've been looking forward to this all day. This sesame ahi salad was so good--super fresh, with perfectly seared tuna and just the right mix of creamy and tangy sauces. The veggies underneath were crisp and added a great crunch, and the black sesame seeds gave it a little extra flavor. It felt light but still really satisfying.

Farm to table rustic vibes! While visiting Eureka I stopped to have lunch here & it didn't disappoint. I'm not a fan of sweet potato fries but these were crispy & fluffy on the inside. They had good wine selections but no pinot grigio. I asked the server for recommendations for something similar on the dry side & you could tell he wasn't sure which is totally ok. I selected another style of white & it was too sweet. The server was accommodating and let me try another that was perfect.

The vibe is exactly what you want from a coastal brewery--casual, beachy, relaxed, and just the right amount of bar energy. I ordered the French dip, which was delicious and piping hot, although it was a little saltier than I prefer. My husband ordered the shrimp tacos, and apparently they were so good that I am now concerned about the stability of my marriage. He literally declared that he was leaving me for the chef. I guess the tacos were that good. The shrimp tacos came with fresh, flavorful salsa that really stood out, and everything arrived hot and quickly. Our server absolutely was friendly, attentive, and FAST--which we very much appreciated. Getting the check however took FOREVER! I think our server went out to lunch. :/ And the beer selection on tap? Lots of choices, and everything was served perfectly. Overall: great food, great beer, quick service, fun atmosphere, and apparently life-changing shrimp tacos. If you're in the area, put Lost Coast Brewery on your list. Just keep an eye on your spouse if they order the shrimp tacos. Apparently that's where things get dangerous.

From the moment…read morewe walked in, the staff made us feel welcome, the food arrived quickly, and everything we ordered hit the mark. Add in a solid lineup of beers, and it's easy to see why this place has become a local favorite. We sampled several beers across the menu, from crisp lagers to darker, malt-forward brews, and every pour was well-crafted and full of flavor. Whether you're a hop lover or prefer something smooth and easy-drinking, there's a beer here for you. The food was just as impressive. The shrimp tacos were fresh and flavorful with a nice kick, the burger was juicy and piled high with bacon and all the classic fixings, and the French dip was tender, served with a rich au jus that made every bite better. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it a great stop whether you're grabbing lunch after exploring the Redwoods or winding down after a day on the coast. Great beer, great food, great service--Lost Coast Brewery is an easy recommendation and a must-visit while you're in Eureka.

It's a bit small inside but it feels cozy and friendly rather than cramped I go out of my way to get their cheesecakes too- they have some of the best cheese cake, with the most variety, in Eureka!

Our hotel receptionist recommended this place for Steaks saying they were the best steaks in town…read more He did warn us that it was a dive bar atmosphere which is a turn off as smoke comes in all the time from the outdoor patio dinning which apparently allows smoking. Major turn off and it was also pretty loud as the bar goers were getting drunker by the minute and louder as they went along. There were two waitresses that helped us (they took turns if the other was busy because they were also attending the bar as well). Both were very nice, attentive, and friendly and gave us good service throughout our meal. I am conflicted about the steak because the steak was very delicious, tender, perfectly cooked to my liking and had a good flavor to it. However, it was ruined because it was way way too salty!!!! Also the Zoragonla butter was awful for me it was way too overpowering and actually took away from the delicious meat. I regeted spending the extra $4 for that topping. The baked potato I thought was the star of the meal. Wonderfully prepared, soft and tender. Good quality butter and sour cream to go with it made it one of the better potatoes I have had at a steak place. I ate my entire potato which I never do! My husband's Ribeye was a little overcooked and he also complained about the saltiness as well. But agree with me on the baked potato being very good. Overall, the steak is very good but I would ask for it to be unsalted and just season it yourself to your liking because the kitchen way over does it. I would also get it to go unless you enjoy breathing smoke while you eat. I don't so I would not eat in again.
