Good food. We just found this place after living here a year. It's tucked away and there isn't a big sign. We have one kid who is hard to feed and she loved the French Toast. Everything tasted great. Only negative was the egg surcharge of 50 cents per egg. Hopefully this is temporary as they also pass on the credit card charge.

So, as soon as you walk in, there is a short staff sign. I understand with the pandemic and labor shortages that service may be slow. So I took about 5 minutes to even see someone, which wasn't a problem. I get seated at the bar, at my request, because I saw a server working behind the bar and figured this would be a wise choice for service. I sat and sat, probably another five minutes before anyone even talked to me. Apparently they had some confusion on who was going to be serving me - so instead of saying hi and getting a basic drink order as soon as they saw me, they decided to let me wait while they figured it out. There were at least five servers on the floor for a 10% occupied restaurant. The food was good, but the service was poor.

This was my first time eating here that wasn't a holiday, so they weren't slammed with patrons waiting outside for seats. Service was excellent, as usual. I will note, they are now adding a 4% fee to every order if you pay with a card. My Dad joined me for breakfast, and he enjoyed what he ordered. I forgot to note what he got, but there is a photo of it. I ordered the Classic Biscuit and Gravy. The gravy was great. Perfect consistency and flavor. I wish there was more than one biscuit. Their patty sausage is very flavorful. My eggs were cooked as requested and seasoned decently. I also added a side of Bradley's sausage. This is my favorite sausage in the world, so it is hard to beat it. If you have never tried Bradley's sausage, please do yourself a favor and find it. I enjoy this restaurant for breakfast, and my father and I may start eating here for our weekend breakfasts.

Decent food. Pretty much the same menu as Another Broken Egg. Had a few issues/ dislikes. 1. People in my party ordered Blood Mary's and they had to ask for their bacon strips. Yet the table behind us received their bacon in their drinks no problem. 2. I went to the restroom to change my baby and an employee who did not need to use the larger stall with the changing table took her precious time in there. 2 other stalls were open. The large stall should be prioritized for handicapped individuals and people with children. 3. Our waiter didn't seem like he wanted to wait on us and seemed less enthusiastic. 4. The food looked bland so additional seasoning needed to be added

It took a bit to find this place via my Google assistant's direction, but once here it was worth finding. It was cozy and the service was great, pretty busy at 9 am on Black Friday and the wait was not long at all. Been wanting some corned beef for awhile and was excited to see their Irish Benny on the menu. Their version of corned beef hash was more like bacon bits but had a great flavor none the less. I love eggs Benedict so I'll be back to try the others in the menu.

First, a star was taken off, like unfortunately with any other brunch place in Tallahassee, the waiting time is beyond ridiculous. As said, in Tallahassee it seems normal that you have to wait 1hr at a minimum to be seated when trying to get brunch on the weekend. With that said, the food is extraordinary delicious, so is their Bloody Mary. If u don't mind waiting, this is your place to be.

After having trouble getting seated the first time we tried to brunch here, we finally got in here one day with a shorter wait. As usual, bottomless coffee! We ordered hot coffee to start off our brunch. We also ordered the beignets, which I have always loved at the other locations. They came out hot and sweet and tasty. I got the garden benny, which was actually quite good. It was lighter than the usual eggs Benedict but more veggies on top than the usual eggs Florentine. So the service isn't great. But the food is solid. I can't wait to come back for some brunch... but maybe not during peak hours.

Disappointed that they only offer military discount to those in uniform. My daughter is 100% disabled retired US Army. She has her military ID but won't give the discount because she's not in uniform. The menu is pricey and the charge to swap the breakfast potatoes for a slice of tomato or other fruit is $1.50 more. Split a plate between 2 for a smaller meal, that'll be an extra $2.50. No senior menu to get a smaller meal. They are a pretentious overpriced cafe. At least provide flavored creamer. Half and half doesn't cut it. Looking around at other tables, people are clearly finished and the dishes aren't cleared from their table. Food is brought out quickly.

Another great time at the Egg Cafe and Eatery this time at the location on Capital Ciricle. We had a party of 6 and the speed of service was perfect. Jamie was our server and she was excellent! I didn't get the Asian Chicken salad, but recommended it to someone in my party and she thoroughly enjoyed. I didn't want anything with eggs as I had some for Breakfast so I went with the potato skillet with broccoli, spinach and Bradley Sausage. It was filling, however I wasn't crazy about the combo but the greenery made me feel "healthier" even though I'm sure the potatoes and cheese cancel it out. I would try it again just with different items. The breakfast potatoes here are still so so good! Someone else in my party had the cinnamon roll French toast and she didn't seem disappointed.

Great brunch experience! It was my first time going to The Egg and I enjoyed myself. The food was delicious, prompt friendly service and they had a beautiful venue space. Food ordered: The Ultimate Seafood Omelette Cinnamon Roll French Toast This is a nice place for Breakfast, Brunch, or Lunch with many things to choose from that you will not be disappointed. Give them a try and stop by!!!

Went to the Egg today because my girls wanted brunch and we were in the area. After 10 minutes of sitting I had to go and ask if we had a server. The hostess apologized and said there was some confusion on who had our table. I tried to order the bananas foster waffle but they were out of bananas. I ordered a mimosa and the cinnamon roll French toast. The mimosa tasted mostly of prosecco with no orange juice flavor. I like more of a mix. The cinnamon roll French toast was really good and the portion size was very large. I will be back but wouldnt get a mimosa and hope the have bananas. Also. I hope they get their staffing issue resolved. I know things can get confusing but this isnt the 1st time we have come and had a service issue.

Solid breakfast spot. Sometimes gets busier than they can handle, but still a consistent option.

First time in Tallahassee and I had to make a quick road trip stop for coffee!…read more Saw that Ology was in a brewery and it piqued my interest! The coffee had very good reviews so I thought I'd give it a try. The menu item names are very creative. Five stars for that. So far loved the vibe. And as far as customer service goes, they were very friendly! I really wanted to try their Rosemary Lavender but sadly they were out of this flavor. I opted for cardamom with oat milk. After the first sip.. I couldn't quite get the cardamom taste. Not with the second, third or fourth. It fell a bit too short for me. Cardamom has a very distinct taste and it was lost in the milk. Just tasted like a regular latte. I had to have more than 12oz (looks like this is their only size) so I also got the cold brew.. but the batch was not as strong as I would prefer. I think it can be better. I'm sadly reminded of the old Keurig days when my coffee would come out tasting extremely diluted but I would still drink to because it was quick and easy. Cold brew is a slow, beautiful and delicate process. This drink did not reflect that awesome cold brew experience. I expect the cold brew from a coffee place to taste much better than what I make at home. No for me Ology. Wish you guys better days though!

She said there were two of these in town, and well, she had gone to the other one and wanted to go to this one. I indulged her, we went, along with another girlfriend, and had a fabulous time. Parking is plentiful, the service is on point, and the food and drinks are tasty. The only issue here admittedly is that it can get busy, so be on the lookout for that if you want to sip on a latte and study or chat there. The first time around we had no issues grabbing seats, but the second time I just barely got the last seat and I was by myself, so definitely take note. I typically order the white chocolate mocha with non-fat milk and to me it's superb, maybe even better than a certain chain. The food is good. I saw they have some breakfast options like avocado toast, but I usually just have a quiche or something with spinach in it. Will have to return to try more, but at least so far from what I've experienced, this is a solid coffee shop.
