The servers were so nice, and the food was delicious, for a very good price as well! Not only appealing to the mouth but the eyes as well!

There was a good amount of people in the diner, but I edited them out for their privacy.

We were headed north again, and my partner had not been to this eveready before. We went out of our way so we could have lunch here and she could try it. We were both very impressed. Our server was Trudy and she was wonderful. She was friendly and helpful, she continued to check on our table to make sure everything was OK, just absolutely fantastic service. We did not even need to open the menu. At the very top of the "specials" menu, were two words... "beef goulash." *YES, PLEASE!!!* The goulash was amazing. The noodles were perfectly Al,dente, the beef was so tender, it almost melted like butter in our mouths, And the sauce had a wonderfully deep flavor. It also came with a cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese, to addto it it was a wonderful addition. Neither of us finished our meal I got two meals out of mine, my partner got three out of hers. We were stuffed, but we could not go without a slice of the pie, so we took ours to go. My partner had the lemon meringue, and I had the pecan. Both were absolutely outstanding. My partner said that the lemon filling was nice and tangy, and she liked the fluffyness of the meringue. The pecan pie had plenty of pecans, , and it was so rich. The crust on both slices of pie were absolutely fluffy and light. We had our pie with our leftover goulash, but neither of us could finish our slices of pie, either they were so big. More leftovers for later. For all the food we got, plus the quality, the price was reasonable, and again, I got a military/veterans discount. Thank you again for an amazing meal.

So for starters, it was 11 degrees outside and the diner had no working heat. I wish they told us that upon seating, and we wouldn't have stayed. We were very cold the whole time we were there. Second, the hostess looked like she just couldn't wait to go home. No smile, no words, just walked us to the table and threw the menus on the table. Maybe she was cold too, who knows. Third, the wait for the food was unreasonably long, especially considering how cold it was. Fourth, the place was dirty. Bugs in the light fixtures, grime on the tiles. The food was okay. I had apple and chicken wrap with blu cheese, cranberries, pecans and salad. It was delicious and fresh. My husband's buffalo chicken wrap was not so great. My daughter had a gyro that looked small for the adult sized dish. The bill was pleasantly low, which was a plus. Given the overall experience, we will not be back and do not recommend.

Probably a 3.5. Cute decor, a bit loud, service was friendly. Food was OK. Husband liked his turkey dinner, my club was amazing, and my non-picky daughter liked her chicken tenders (picky daughter didn't like the way the "looked ) fries left a little to be desired, no flavor but crispy) all the food was hot and overall we were happy.

I love the Eveready Diner; the moral of the story is: Go to the one in Hyde Park. Everything I ordered was not great, especially compared to the same items at the Hyde Park Diner by the same name. The chili was so salty that it was inedible. Maybe it was the milkshake machine's calibration, but the milkshake had a glob of ice cream in the middle of it, so it made it impossible to drink for quite a long time until the I cream had a chance to melt. The (tap) water tasted terrible. I love disco fries, and they tasted OK but seemed like they were overcooked. The waitress was accommodating. The decor was bright & clean.

Service wasn't bad. Was kind of a random stop but filled me up and had good bakery items for sure. Was very busy but still not too crowded and stuff.

Stopped in this popular 1950s-esque diner on our way to PA. Highly recommend the homemade onion rings -- completely fresh and handmade. The milkshakes are made with three scoops of ice cream. We ordered the Oreo and Pineapple; both of which were quite sizeable and delicious. The pineapple one was made using vanilla ice cream and a pineapple jam, so it has little chunks of pineapple. We also ordered the spicy shrimp wrap, corn beef Reuben, and the Souvlaki pita. All of which were great! The Reuben came with a lot meat, could almost make a second sandwich with it! Our server was attentive and proactive, yet allowed us pleasant space when we needed it. She brought us a little plate with accoutrements for our meal (coleslaw, pickles, bbq sauce) without us having to ask. Overall, would definitely recommend. I'm already thinking about when I can make it back out here to try one of their gorgeous cakes!

i love this diner. Made me feel at home. I enjoyed the avcado toast. didn't leave a crumb like most diners i go to. Most people at my table were stealing my delicious fries that were the best i ever had. I liked the juke box which made me feel i was at a diner in my old days. the servers were very nice and seemed to love there jobs this morning. thanks for the great experience must come again.

All made to order and the portions are generous. They are so friendly. We have literally never had a bad experience with them in over 4 years. Even if a mistake was made on an order, they have always been courteous and apologetic, they immediately remedy the problem in which everyone is happy. I just love the owners...I think Brewster is very lucky to have them in their town. We have several favorites on their menu but honesty, we haven't found a dud yet. Their hollandaise sauce is scrumptious and addictive!! I could eat it on an apple. The salads are fresh and creative. The specials are always a treat. For the prices, which seem a little high....i don't think they are. They provide fresh food, prepared by a legit professional who has common sense and a great knowledge of flavors and flavor combos. They give generous potions and you never feel like you were ripped off when devouring their creations. I would eat here daily if we could. I love supporting small local business and I love supporting good people just as much. They are the best. I'm getting hungry thinking about the waffles, chili and hollandaise sauce.

Food. Omg just look at the pics. Delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly, lamb was a tad overcooked but that was my friends' bad for asking for it medium. My salmon--perfection. I like my salmon on the medium-rare side wowsa. Loves every bite (and I do mean every bite 'cause I ate it all). Did I mention the creamed spinach? Best I have ever had. Anywhere. A smidge salty but still had to order a separate side of it as my friend was not sharing hers I nearly forgot the candied bacon. Enough said. Because it was, you guessed it, amazing. Hats off to the chef!! Drinks-my tolerance for a poorly made margarita is zero and the bartender, again-amazing. One of the best margaritas I have had in a restaurant. Cucumber martini, delicious. Only comment is that the bourbon was not cold enough. Then a bottle of Decoy, it was their 'house' wine-say what? You mean the house wine wasn't some obscure wine drastically over-priced? No Virginia, it was not. Dessert-tiramisu out of this world. The Italian ricotta was a little salty. Highly recommend. Make a reservation though.
