    Chicken Wrap
    Joey W.

A great casual spot to grab a bite with indoor and outdoor seating. Chicken wrap - it came with a side of potatoes and some greens. The chicken wrap had a lot of veggies in it which was really nice. The bottom of the wrap was a little soggy from either the sauce or the veggies. The potatoes didn't have much flavor and were a little soft for me. I was hoping it was a little crispy on the outside.

Chamomile Herbal tea! Was really good!

Love this little cafe. Cute area it's in, has outdoor dining and just a great vibe. It was really clean. Nice seating area, and the staff was really friendly and they have great options on food and drinks. I will most definitely stop at this cafe next time I'm near Palo Alto.

It's so delicious, I love it! It has such an exquisite flavor that you won't find it anywhere else. You have to come and try the delicious pizzas, and I love the coffee!

Random stop after the PA zoo. Had the steak sandwich and wife did the lobster ravioli. Also had a slice of the lemon mascarpone cake. All delicious and the service was amazing.

The Office Box from 5/30. Chicken, chicken rice, and Caesar salad. A balanced meal and the rice was soooo good!

Came here on a weekday lunch with a friend. The environment was friendly and chill. We placed our order indoors and grabbed a table outdoors awaiting our food. The owner/manager (?) older gentleman was friendly and helpful. I didn't know what to order and when he shared the Office Box, which includes chicken, chicken rice, and Caesar salad. It was the perfectly balanced meal and the rice was soooo good! I usually don't eat much carbs but I couldn't stop eating this oh-so-flavorful chicken rice. We'll be back!

The Farm is a pivot from the former pizza only restaurant space next to Baume off California Avenue in Palo Alto. It's a bright, clean and welcoming space serving brunch and breakfast as well as lunch and coffee/tea service. We dropped by in the morning and shared a breakfast platter and caught up in the open space before shopping in the area. The restaurant has a brunch menu available from 7 AM and a lunch/dinner menu available from 11 AM. The brunch menu features a diverse selection of savory (breakfast sandwich) and sweet (waffle) dishes while the later menu features soups, salads and pizza. We tried the Benedict as well as some coffee drinks. You order at the cashier and they'll bring your order table side. I think the space will be great for remote workers and several dining spaces did offer outlets. It's a step up from Starbucks or Peet's and reminds me of places like Coupa Cafe. Benedict ~ $16 / Cortado $5.50 / Green Tea $4.50. Dining is open indoor only and reservations are not required. All credit cards including AmEx are accepted.

Stopped by to grab a cup of coffee and saw the name and hope that it will be something special "farm to table" but read the menu and nothing really pop up, and the prices are abit on the high end. But really want to give it a try so went in an ordered a regular coffee and it rang up for $5.75...wow, that must be or should be really good and organic...plus I tipped 15% on top of it for just an okey service....no morning or hello, just want can I get you. After ordered and paid, he finally cracked a smile since he saw I tipped..then he poured the coffee into the cup and left it at the end of the counter then talked with the other staff. The cup is hot and I didn't see the cup holder and didn't know the procedure here so me I'm out of town and was here for a visit. I asked and he point to the counter behind me. But no milk or cream so I asked another staff and he took the milk carton and left it on the table and left, I got the milk then left and feel glad that I didn't stay. Too bad, the place got relax and chill vibe and nice decor but not so good of service. They do have patio seating as well as inside. As I read the review here, I got it that it self service and it would help if the staff there would say it when I ordered or point out which what, where stuffs are. Oh well, the coffee is quite good and I drank it all and wish I could come back for 2nd cup but the thought that I have to deal with the attitude and $6/cup...I just go elsewhere for cheaper and better service. Sorry but it's my pov - and I hope it just an off day for the staff there.

Delicious Belgian Waffle and had a Decaf coffee.

What a fun place. I have worked in Palo Alto for 3 years and didn't even know about this fun place. Delicious Waffle. I will be back.

There's a beautiful outdoor area in the back with tons of tables. Even though it was super busy, we still had our choice of a few tables, and the foliage/patio umbrellas make it nice and shady. Our food was also delicious! We got: Prosciutto and egg sandwich - eggs were super light and fluffy, and the sandwich was well balanced and cheesy too! Fat and fluffy French toast - such a generous portion and the berries and whipped cream were so yummy! The toast itself had crispy edges and was super fluffy! They have such a large menu too and I'll definitely be back to try more!

Mid week brunch meant a quieter atmosphere and open seating. After perusing the menu we ordered at the counter before sitting at a table after picking up utensils and water. We ordered Fambrini's Breakfast, Brie & Mushroom Omelette, Crab Omelette, and shares the Lotus Biscoff Pancakes. Everyone loved their egg platters. The eggs were perfectly light and fluffy. I generally avoid omelettes getting scrambles instead because restaurants tend to overcook the eggs. Our dishes were prepared with quality and flavor in mind. I personally had the crab omelette and left no crumbs behind. The potatoes were well seasoned and wish I had enough room in my tummy to finish them off! The drip coffee was bold and delicious not watered down at all! Finally, we shared the 2 stack biscoff pancakes for a sweet finish. The pancakes were bouncy with biscoff sauce and a mound of whipped cream. This was mouth wateringly delicious. I don't have much of a sweet tooth but this was so yummy. This isn't a traditional sit down service but counter staff were friendly and efficient. There is a small parking lot off to the side and there is indoor and patio seating. Come by for a meal and you won't be disappointed! I wish I lived closer so I could taste the rest of their meal. Kudos and thanks for an awesome meal!

While I never…read moremet the man, he has incredible taste, because Sweet Maple has the best breakfast food I've ever had in the bay area. Well worth the trip. The two of us were dubious about the Millionaire's Bacon, because it was hyped up to the point where it seemed unlikely that it could live up to the reputation. We were wrong. We ordered the Millionaire's Bacon sampler platter, which is four strips of long, thick pieces of bacon, baked with brown sugar and spices. There is the original, which is brown sugar, cayenne, red, and black pepper, which was sweet, salty, and the perfect amount of spicy. The other slices were orange, cinnamon, and rosemary. My partner enjoyed the orange best, whereas I loved the cinnamon, but we both thought the rosemary was underwhelming. The bacon itself was very thick and meaty with a minimal amount of fat, and was just clearly high quality pork. Truly worth the hype. We also got the bottomless mimosas, which not only had multiple choices of juice (we got raspberry lemonade) but were surprisingly heavy on the champagne. The waiter kept them coming without us needing to ask, to the point where I had to tell him I was done because I was a little too tipsy for breakfast. My partner got the chicken croffle, and was very impressed. I tried the fried chicken (though not the croffle) and it was very well spiced, very crunchy, and well cooked--juicy and tender. I got the big hip, which is deep fried "french toast". I wouldn't call it french toast myself, but it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and came with fresh fruit, butter, and syrup. There wasn't enough syrup for the entire dish, but I asked our waiter for more and he came back with it in less than a minute. On top of the food being as close to perfect as you can get, the service was great. Several different waiters checked in on us throughout the meal, making sure we were enjoying the food and that we didn't need anything else. The vibes of the restaurant are really enjoyable too. The décor is lovely, the sound levels are very reasonable, and everything was spotless during our visit. Overall, I can't recommend Sweet Maple enough, and I'm kind of glad it's not closer to my house because I would go bankrupt with the amount of Millionaire's Bacon I'd buy on a weekly basis.

The host received us warmly, but things slipped from there. Our table was missing cutlery and we had to flag our server down to get it sorted. We asked for a minute to look over the menu since it was our first visit. He did not come back for five minutes, and only because we flagged him down again. When we ordered, he took our request without making eye contact, attention clearly elsewhere in the restaurant. One dish came out. The second did not. Our server never circled back to check on us, and seemingly did not notice that one of us had no food in front of her. After nearly ten minutes, we flagged him down again. He called over from across the restaurant, not walking to us, with a "what?" We had to gesture that my guest still had no food. He came over briefly, confirmed our order, said it was coming soon, and left. No apology. No acknowledgment of the wait. No offer to make it right while one plate sat getting cold. The food eventually came, again with no apology. It was good. But by then, honestly, the experience had overshadowed it. We asked for a manager. Cathy came over, listened, and immediately apologized. She agreed the service fell short, gave us a break on the bill, and handled the situation with real grace. She is the reason this review has any stars at all! For reference, our server's name on the receipt read Mui F. I hope Cathy's conversation with him makes a difference, because Sweet Maple clearly has the food to back up its reputation. The service just needs to match it!

Coffee was nice as well, and they kept coming by to refill, which was nice and needed. However disaster struck when one of the waiters knocked off a tray from a ledge right by our table. The tray crashed onto our table and spilled water, hot coffee, and creamer all over me, and our under two year old who started crying. After checking in, we were informed that the entire party had to be present before we could be seated. While waiting, I ordered a drink at the bar and enjoyed the beautiful rooftop terrace. The deep cushioned seating, combined with views of Stanford University, the Woodside hills, and the surrounding skyline, created a memorable setting for a special occasion. The dining room is airy, elegant, and thoughtfully designed. The glass roof allows plenty of natural light without the harsh glare, making the space comfortable and inviting. The menu is fairly straightforward and not particularly unique, though prices are definitely premium. Sandwiches range from about $24 to $58, and the mini lobster or crab rolls are $20 each. For our group of five, we ordered three lobster rolls, lamb chops, two Caesar salads, two orders of oysters, honey-glazed salmon, sweet potatoes, truffle fries, a gem salad, and several drinks and glasses of wine. Unfortunately, neither the kitchen nor the table service lived up to expectations. Our starters arrived, followed by most of the entrees, but the kitchen completely forgot both Caesar salads. We asked about them twice. By the time they finally arrived, the salads were soggy and lacked the freshness you would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. RH Rooftop delivers a stunning setting and is an undeniably beautiful place for a celebration. However, for a restaurant positioned as a luxury dining experience, I expected the food and service to match the spectacular surroundings. While everything looked impressive, the meal itself felt average and the service lacked the attention to detail expected at this price point. In the end, I left feeling that I had paid for the atmosphere rather than the dining experience.

The portion sizes were ridiculously small...the grilled plate for two for example was really an appetizer plate for a peckish small teenager for $43. Service started out decent, but our male server got a little cold and standoffish after sometime. I don't know if it is because the place got busy or what but we felt awkward. The overall vibe was blase with a we're too cool for you attitude. Staff should be able to handle a busy friday night without ignoring some customers. There wasn't any real table maintenance. We had everything we ordered still on the table for awhile until we flagged down staff a few times. They removed things after knowing we wanted to order more things I felt. The chairs were uncomfortable and the table set up for parties of 4 were too small.

I'd highly highly recommend ordering the french toast that way cuz it was really delicious and flavorful! The corned beef hash also tasted really good and hit the spot. Honestly there were so many options in the menu that looked really yummy, so you could order anything and come out satisfied. The service is really amazing. I asked them to make alot of adjustments for me and the waiter was really nice and accommodating, and the food turned out great! The vibes are really pleasant and it was pretty packed for a Wednesday afternoon. Will definitely come again!

We always ask for a table with chairs because I have back problems and can't sit in their totally worn booths and the host has never had a problem with that request. But yesterday the regular host wasn't there and we were told they were busy and we had to sit at the counter or in a booth because they didn't want to put us the two of us at a table for four (there were two tables available). We waited for nearly ten minutes and when I asked again if we could sit at one of the tables was almost rudely told no, they were busy. So we left and went to Joanie's on California Avenue. They were also busy but immediately seated us and we had a much better lunch. Sometimes it's good to change things up as we'd forgotten how kind and attentive all the of the staff are at Joanie's and how much better the food was. And both of our plates of food came out hot and perfectly cooked which doesn't always happen at the Creamery. I guess we just eat there for the memories. My husband said none of the staff at the Creamery seem happy except for the host so if we don't see him seating the guests, we'll just go to Joanie's.
