My friends and I came here for an early dinner before heading into the city. We were seated upon arrival. Food: I ordered a mushroom pizza. It was very hot when it came as it had just gotten out of the oven. It was pretty good. It may have been softer than I normally prefer my thin crust pizzas, but it was still good. Service: Service was quick. You could see from the table how they're making the pizzas and putting it into their large pizza oven. The food came as it was ready. It is a small restaurant, and it was decently busy when we went. Our server didn't check in on us too much, but it wasn't difficult to get anything we needed. TL;DR - pizza is a little softer than I prefer but still good

The place was pretty quiet on a Sunday noon, so we had no problem getting a table. -wood- fire Napoletana pizza: dough was good and chewy, the pizza had good flavor as well. - carbonara: a little peppery but tasty. It used traditional ingredients, which was a nice change from the Americanized versions you usually find. -vodka pasta: this was okay. It wasn't as creamy as what I'm used to; I've had better ones. -tiramisu: delicious, it didn't have a very strong coffee liqueur flavor. Overall, we enjoyed the food, but there wasn't anything that particularly stood out.

Pretty lowkey Italian restaurant. Friend shared their carbonara was pretty good and it did not disappoint! The Napoletana pizza was also great! The space is pretty small but by dinner time had plenty of customers! Good service too.

This pizzeria is one of the few in South Bay to mark AVPN authentication (Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana). a friend introduced me to this place over 10+ years ago, the pizza was so memorable back then and I was delighted to be in the area recently and see it's still around! We were a walk-in at 8pm on a Friday night w party of 3 people, seated right away and there were still others streaming in filling up all the tables. It's a small, simple restaurant (no frills) w a single dining room and closes early at 9pm. There was only 1 dedicated server + the owner bringing out food, yet we were able to order promptly and food came out quickly. For 3 adults, we ordered the following: Salad: INSALATA NOCI E GORGONZOLA (WALNUT AND GORGONZOLA) Radicchio, Belgian endive, dried cranberries and arugula topped with gorgonzola and walnuts in a homemade apple cider vinaigrette dressing. - ordered this tossed in very LIGHT dressing, and they actually tossed it lightly (unlike so many American restaurants) - it was wonderful! generous portion even for sharing, took 1/2 home in takeout box so we wouldn't fill up too fast before mains. Pasta: CARBONARA Spaghetti with pancetta, egg, parsley, parmesan and extra virgin olive oil. - the pasta here is all cooked al dente by default, so you don't need to worry about requesting this. it's really flavorful without being completely soaked in soupy cream like many Americanized pastas tend to be ruined in. 2 Pizzas (12" diameter, 8 slices each), ate 1 1/2 while bringing 1/2 home in takeout box): NAPOLETANA Tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, Italian homemade sausage, basil and extra virgin olive oil. - this was easily the best dish of the night, so classic and easy one of their most popular items on the menu recommended by our server; SO SO GOOD! BIANCA AL PROSCIUTTO Fresh mozzarella and garlic topped with Parma prosciutto and arugula (no tomato sauce). + added anchovies for $4, they were a wonderful addition! We also added a chilled bottle of Moretti (shared among 2 ppl to not overstuff ourselves while already having so much carbs) halfway through dinner which was a perfectly crisp type of light and popular Italian beer to accompany the savory sensations in our meal. *** The only drawback would be if you are bringing someone more elderly to the restaurant, know that there's 1 single restroom in the very back and you need to weave yourself through their kitchen which has uneven flooring, thick rubber holed mats and staff working in the walkway. Children and seniors may need to be accompanied, and if you're standing outside the restroom waiting, there's really not much space as one of the dishwasher machines is smack right in front of the door. Other than this logistical heads up, really enjoy the food here and appreciate how it's so classic, low-key and non-stuffy amidst all of the newer trendy hyped places in Silicon Valley.

Came in for dinner a week ago. Ordered fried calamari, Caesar salad, two pizzas and a pasta. Favorite dish was the pasta. Everything was flavorful. This restaurant has a nice lively ambiance but seating is limited. If you have a party larger than 6 people, space may be limited.

Terrific, authentic and very delicious pizza. It's a small, quaint space but was bustling when we went on a Sunday night for dinner. We got two of their veggie pizzas and a salad all of which was super satisfying. Very light on the stomach too which I appreciate a lot. Will definitely be back to taste more of their offerings.

**this is a true 3.5 stars but I have rounded up** I have tried pizza in Naples, Italy and man oh man one of the pizzas we got so much like authentic Napoli pizza! Specifically the Del Carcerato - amazing amazing amazing! I would give that pizza 5/5. It was incredibly thin, light amount of tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and basil. The best part was the ricotta stuffed crust -- that was a game changer! This must be eaten immediately. Try to not order it to-go and have at home. There is something about having it fresh and a bit on the pipping hot side (esp. on a cold day/night). We got the Cappellaccio as well, but it was not my favorite despite it being a thin pizza with mozzarella, mushrooms, and basil. I was so floored by Del Carcerato, that anything else would not have had that wow factor at that moment. I would give this pizza 3/5. Price for each pizza came out to $25 including tax. To me that is pretty steep given these are personal sized pizzas, but also give its in the Mountain View area, you would need to be ready to pay those prices (I guess). Staff & Ambiance: Staff was attentive and friendly. Ambiance was more on the romantic-low-light environment. I went on a mom date with our kids so that threw a different vibe but everyone was very sweet to our excited kiddos. :) The taste of the pizza, staff, and ambiance puts this review at 4/5 but the price pulls that down to a 3.5/5.

I went here this weekend to celebrate my birthday. Super cozy, cute little pizza shop in Mountain View. The only hard part was to take pictures. The food is super delicious , freshly made, and you can't stop eating. They definitely hold the standards very high. Since I went with all girls, I'll definitely be back with my family. My kids loved the leftover pizza. It's a family business, super friendly staff.

Can I say that I just love this restaurant? Myself and 2 other friends always meet here and it's our regular spot when we get together. The waitress is the sweetest and knows us. I enjoy supporting a local business and not a chain. I love that there is plenty of parking and everything we ordered off the menu is good. The penne alla vodka we always have to order, the best. The pizzas are all very good but we get the prosciutto and fungi usually. My friend made me a lovely dessert trifle for my birthday and our waitress even refrigerated it for us. At the end of the night, my sweet friend gave the trifle to the wait staff and kitchen to take home (this is why she's my sweet friend, so generous!) Support this gem of a restaurant! It's a small place and it gets busy! We usually go early.

Best Napolenta style pizza I've had in the US. Our goto spot for Italian. The dough is stretchy, holds up under wet toppings, addictively chewy. The dough has been appropriately fermented and the oven is hot. They put enough red sauce. We always get sausage and mushroom. It's juicy, salty but not too salty, and basil is punchy. Also got margherita which didn't taste plain. Pastas have good bite and sauces are well balanced. It's a smaller restaurant so expect a wait on weekends.

Lacking service!!! This lady seemed annoyed at us. Never said a please or thank you whatever, ick, food was ok. Nothing to bring me back, I would not recommend. Food was mid but tiramisu was super good.

Amazing pizza! Authentic wood fire stove and you can taste it in every bite! I got the linguini and meatballs and it was dry.

Amazing napoleon style pizza with pretty decent value, especially given the area that it's in. The pizza has the right amount of toppings and the brick oven gives it that perfect char flavor to the edges. Can get a bit warm because the oven is in the back of the dining room. But great place if you're looking for something quick and delicious.

I love that each location has its own signature pie, which makes it feel unique instead of just another chain experience! The apricot pizza at this location ONLY completely surprised me! It had that perfect balance of sweet and savory, and the cheese tied everything together so well. It did not feel gimmicky at all and bite felt intentional and balanced. I also tried the Little Italy Detroit style and DET Motorhead style slices. The Detroit crust is thick and fluffy with crispy, caramelized edges and a cheesy center that does not feel overly heavy. The bread to cheese ratio is honestly just right. The DET Motorhead with the sauce layered on top was rich and satisfying without being overwhelming. The Italian sausage was juicy with a slight sweetness and a little spice that added great flavor! Beyond the food, the employees were so nice and attentive. They were patient, helpful with recommendations, and made the whole experience feel welcoming and comfortable. No. What I mean is, if you break down their pizza (as I did in one pic below bc I have a cold, so I got mine to go), it's a cornmeal crust with a bunch of toppings and cheese, topped by a thick layer of tomato-based sauce. The crust is not super thin, but neither is it super thick and bready. It basically forms a shell around the toppings and sauce. The toppings can be healthy depending on what you choose. This time, I got 1/2 brass monkey 1/2 free bird. Brass monkey has a lot of sausage and ricotta, so not a healthy choice. Free bird has a really great amount of chicken! ... and some bacon, but I chose it. You could easily get a delicious veggie and chicken pizza, and it'd be better nutritionally. There's a good amount of cheese, but it's not overwhelming or super greasy. If you want in-your-face cheese, add more for another dollar or two. I like if the way it is. The tomato sauce is thick and surprisingly tangy. That reassures me it's not loaded down with sugar. Basically, is this super healthy? No -- in terms of my eating out/takeout, that would be a sashimi salad, or salmon with lightly steamed vegetables and a bit of sweet potato or quinoa. But it's decent for a Friday night out (or in) when you're not really trying to be healthy, but also not making a point of doing the opposite. As for price -- this is March 2026, and the large half-and-half composed of 2 of their priciest options was $39.14 after tax before tip. Now, that seems a bit high for one pizza. But I didn't eat all day, and 2 slices (out of 8) filled me right up. 3 slices would have left me too full, but probably still thinking "worth it!" 4 slices would make me super uncomfortably regretting-my-life-choices overfull. Sure, you can get cheaper pizza/takeout. But this is good stuff, like pasta toppings on a good cornmeal crust. If you ordered 2 solid pastas for under $40, you'd think that was a good deal! Well, this is 3-4 adult's worth of good pizza for under $40. Also, I used to cook and bake a lot more than I do now, and there's a lot of work and ingredient here, more than I'd commit to at twice the price. It would start making sense for me to mix up the crust and buy good cheese and meat and tins of San Marzanos if I needed 4 pizzas, i.e. to feed 15-20 people (with finger foods, salad, sides, dessert). Otherwise I'd just order here. Oh! I can't remember the last time I got takeout here. So they now have a shiny red takeout cabinet to the left as you walk in, and you just put in the last 4 digits of your phone # and your locker pops open! I would have liked not to be sick and to eat in, but the cabinet was pretty cute. :)
