Cute spot for some good grub! Perfect location after doing a portion of the Appalachian Trail nearby. They even threw in a warm cookie as part of our meals! Would love to come back for ice cream. New place in Patterson NY. Someone finally took over / bought the eyesore that was the vacant King Kone Treats. Farmhouse is beautiful inside all brand new - new floor, nice light fixtures, simple very nice decor. One big thing that turned me off it was over 80 degrees out and humid. There was no AC on or a fan. If the AC was on they needed to turn it up alot. Nothing drives me more crazy then trying to enjoy a meal and Im hot. The food is hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, french fries, onion rings, pizza and ice cream for sundaes and shakes. The hot dogs were good with the casings a quality dog. Not big though so I ordered two. My Dad 's their chili. We also got meals that came with fries, a drink, and a yummy cookie. We were also offered a free sample of pizza which was really good. They also had a good crowd for lunch. I will go back again to get a pizza and chili next. read more

Great place for a quick bite to eat! We ordered 2 ice creams & onion rings. The total came out to be $14 which was a little pricy in my opinion.. The onion rings were delicious & fair priced ($4.00). The ice cream was good too however I paid ~ $4.25 for 2.5 scoops of ice cream in a waffle cup. Other local ice cream places usually charge about $3.00 for a decent sized ice cream cup where it's basically overflowing & you can't see bottom of the cup... so I did feel a little ripped off. Other than that definitely has potential, was pretty busy & I can't wait to come back again once their more established! read more

Happy there is a homey restaurant like this nearby. Terrific burgers, fries and comfort food menu. A family owned place, with cozy farmhouse decor. Summer clam shack is great. Fall cider donuts is worth a trip. Love eating indoors or in nice weather, outside with our dog. read more

This place is the most delicious restaurant that I've ever been in Patterson. They are the most sincere real business owners I could ever meet. Their food is amazing. I had to have the ice cream sundae before my food because I can never have it after my meal because I am always too full. The ice cream was so delicious. Better than any other such as carvel or stonecold as examples. It was also way less than their prices. Almost half as much and a little more. I ordered a classic burger and fries and can I tell you the fries were better than anybody else. Wendy's is trying to say their fries are better than McDonald's. We'll go here and you'll think again. There's are 100 times better than KFC's fries that they use to have. If you are a pizza maniac try them and you'll be amazed at the taste!!! This is a fantastic family establishment!! All the food we received was delicious and the wait for our food was not long at all. The customer service was unlike anything you find in the area. So friendly and conversational. Incredibly helpful. Such a perfect range of food as well. Our family has a few dietary restrictions and we were accommodated perfectly. Passing by on a day trip and saw grand opening signs. It was attractive so we gave it a try. My husband had a cheeseburger- the burger was good but too much bread to meat ratio. It might have been less noticeable if he had a lot more toppings on it. I had the Farmhouse hotdog - a deep fried hotdog with bacon wrapped around it- it came with lettuce tomato and onions on it. The bread was a little much again. It needed a grilled New England hotdog roll in my opinion:). The hotdog itself was awesome though - it was deep fried with very crisp bacon wrapped around it. They also have ice cream but I didn't get one today. The staff was very attentive and helpful. They were handing out pizza slices when I was there and it was very good and crispy. read more

First visit, not bad. Prices are all over the place, some good deal carefully selected. Little seafood shop out back should not be ignored. Ice cream serving sizes are a bit light. Three onsite dining options. Indoors, deck, and picnic. Some shade for the outdoor spots, but picnic tables are not leveled, kinda spoils the experience. Friendly staff, decent sized menu, but watch the menu boards for special treats and prices. Will have to revisit soon for more thoughts. read more

Saw they sign for no free refills, big turn off. Was not a COVID thing, but a money grab it appeared. To me, if price is not a consideration at all, it is worth it. Food is good. After my daughter's graduation we were in the mood for some ice cream. Everything about the place was very nice to include all the employees, the ice cream and onion rings were good but what wasn't so great was the BLT. I decided to order the BLT. Unfortunately, could have been better. The toast was not toasted, the bacon was not crispy. Bacon on a BLT must be crispy. Everything on the sandwich was ok, but was only able to finish one side of the sandwich. We do hope to go back and hopefully I can adjust this review to something better. read more

My elderly father in ill health asked for a burger and fries after a long bout of no appetite. He's a life long burger aficionado and not easy to please. He told me that the burger he had from The Farmhouse was the BEST burger he has ever had and proceeded to talk about it for a week after he had it. He's a fussy guy that is stingy with complements. This is a "rave" review from a man who knows his way around a burger. The problem? He asks me to buy him another pretty much every time we speak. We are on burger #3 purchase and it's only a short time since I discovered this jewel of an eatery. Can a man live on burgers alone? I actually was served a hot dog that was frozen in the middle. The hamburger was overpriced. Fountain drinks have a guard posted nearby - god forbid you need another sip or two to wash down your meal. Ice cream portions were microscopic and way overpriced. The Farmhouse has an excellent menu. WOW, there were so many options! I couldn't decide between, the chilli cheese dog, pastrami Rueben, and the western burger. The owners were very welcoming and friendly! I decided to go with the pastrami Rueben. It was excellent, I will be coming back very soon! Excellent! Portions are generous and the food is prepared well. The staff is friendly and helpful. The facility is impeccably clean. I had the burger with corn beef and pastrami. It was excellent. Their french fries are fresh, not those pasty frozen ones and they were perfectly seasoned. Going back again to try other things on the menu I'm sure I won't be disappointed!
