The food Is not good. The chicken sandwich was soggy and the bun was way too thick. The ice cream is not cold enough and really soupy. The girl behind the ice cream counter had no idea what she was doing. She handed me an ice cream cone that was falling over and giggled about it. Portion size is very small. Only an ice cream review. Waaay over priced for what you get. Quality/Taste is decent. Thought $4 for medium was a good price...til I saw the scoops. Two golf balls, barely filled half the cup it was served in (3 sizes)! And their cups even seem small for ice cream joints. Maybe theyre trying to pass themselves as gourmet/upscale? Take the drive to Joe's Dairy for generous servings, really good ice cream and flavor variety, for very fair price (even with their recently raised prices)! What you spend in extra gas money is well made up for in both food and ice cream quality! I actually do go there just for burgers too! More locally, I'd say scoops in Carmel would be my choice over here. Disappointed too bc decor and patio is nice and it's central to lots of shopping for a quick stop. read more

we have been here twice hoping it would be a nice alternative to the small options we have for dining here in the area. The burger we ordered was good but expensive and you pay extra for nothing special fries and not refillable drink. I could go to the carriage house down the road and have the same meal for less and not have my food served on paper and then not have to clean up after myself. It would be a good idea for the owner to check out the established dining options in the area before it's too late. read more

My burger was served burnt. I agree with the prior reviews of too much bun for the meat, and it was borderline stale. We asked for cheese on the side of our fries; it came on top. Big sign on soda machine says no refills; if this is the case they should put the machine in the back. Nothing tasted homemade or even made with any care. At these prices we won't be back. read more

I really liked my burger(Blue Burger) and fries at the farmhouse. A great, new barn-like atmosphere indoors with ample seating indoors and out. Great old-school menu of burgers, dogs and ice cream. Also met the owner who seems wonderful. Wish them success! read more

Very good ice cream, with many options for flavors, toppings, and cones. But the actual food is somewhat disappointing. The burgers are kinda bland, and they are on huge, dry buns. The fries are cold and probably frozen. The chicken sandwich was decent. But, the prices are kinda outrageous for the quality of the food. The decor is very nice. It had a rustic, pretty vibe. It is hard to judge this restaurant since it is quite new, and I hope they can work out these kinks. read more

We have passed by so many times and decided to stop in for dinner. The restaurant is beautiful and a great addition to the area. We were greeted by a friendly cashier who took our oder. My husband and I both noticed the buttermilk fried chicken and decided to try it. All I could think about was a nice piece of chicken breaded and deep fried. The kids got a hot dog and chicken tenders. After we paid $45 we got our cups and went to the drink machine only to see the big "no free refill" sign. We then sat down and dinner came out soon. I removed off the top of my bun only to really it was heavy and cold, not toasted at all. Then I see I cut through my chicken, which was obviously to make sure it was cooked. I then noticed that that it was not fresh chicken breast that was breaded and fried but a frozen processed chicken. I took one bite and noticed it was board line cooked and tasted horrible, with a rubbery texture. I maybe ate 1/4 of the sandwich, my husband ate about the same. My son who got chicken tenders was also turned off and his was more under cooked than mine. The only thing we actually finished was the fried, onion rings and my youngest sons hotdog. The kids wanted ice cream so we got a small and a medium. As they were scooping the ice cream it was being weighed. I completely understand food cost and meeting it, but it comes to a point. The cashier had to removed a small piece because the weight is over, which seemed a little ridiculous. It's a shame that they built this beautiful building and the food is horrible. There are not a lot of options in the area and the way the food is it's not going to last. We will not being coming back. Please add really, fresh food to the menu and think about the paying customers. For now we will drive up to Res Rooster or Kelly's! read more

The farmhouse looks like a great little spot! But super disappointed with the food & prices! i ordered (2) chicken finger baskets - 1 with fries & 1 with onion rings, both came with a drink & small cookie! Only 4 pieces of chicken- which were awful - didn't look or taste like chicken - threw most of it out! price for (2) chicken fingers baskets $28.73. So disappointed! read more

Live in the area, and since its slim pickings for a really good meal (with the exception of McKinney and Doyle), we were happy to see a new restaurant open up. Since it was too hot to cook, we decided to grab a bite to eat. Living here for 26 years, I was thrilled to see what they did to the old King Kone site. Outside it's very inviting, and inside was done tastefully also ( they needed to bring the AC up more than a little because it was 90+ outside.) We ordered three burger meals and for dessert we had ice cream. The burger meals were nothing special, buns too big for the burger and the buns weren't very fresh. The toppings were very skimpy and the fries were dry, even ketchup wasn't helpful. We also ordered them medium-well, and they came back well done.. The total for this was almost $60.00. I actually mentioned that I would have enjoyed a McDonald's quarter pounder better for a lot less money and you get free refills which they do not allow. Definitely overpriced and nothing special. The soft serve I had was pretty good, but again, when you order a small it is small for the price. I mean tiny. Red Rooster has a small which is much bigger for the price. Come on guys, for the prices you charge, you can be more generous with your portions. Def not a repeat customer. read more
