Out of everything that was offered, the only dish worth mentioning was the lobster pasta. It was spicy, pasta cooked al dente, and a fair amount of lobster chunks. We received our salad promptly but our pasta second course came out before the seafood starter course. We brought it to our server's attention and it still took a long time to receive it. Then we had another long wait for our main course. The steak was okay, mashed potatoes were good, but the peppercorn sauce absolutely ruined the meal. There were too many peppercorns in every bite. Also the Nutella flan they offered for dessert was a far cry from a flan. It wasn't good. I would've preferred their regular desserts as an offering. Service was very lackluster. Overall, I'm very disappointed. I really wanted to love antique given that it has been voted best restaurant in Hoboken, but the service and food are both subpar.

Every selection was delicious, and his passion and knowledge truly elevated the experience. After the tasting, we stayed for dinner, and that's when the experience became even better. Our server, Paul, was incredible. We let him guide us through the menu, and every recommendation was absolutely spot on. From the appetizers to the entrées, each dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. A special thank you as well to Amahury behind the bar. The second course was halibut with risotto and crab and there was so much meatiness. It was my favorite place and the flavors went so well together. Next was grilled oysters and I've never liked oysters but these were amazing! The bacon and breadcrumbs that had a slight lemon flavor went so well with the oysters. Next was lamb loin with stewed white beans and carrots. The lamb was medium rare, I could have skipped the beans but that's me. Dessert was a strawberry Terrine which was full of fresh and authentic strawberry flavor. I would come back and try their normal menu and also do a tasting again as it was delicious and reasonably priced.
