Worst experience ever. Maybe they had a problem with me personally, but they took forever to complete my car. I was never pleased with the final product and ended up taking it to another shop. The new shop pointed out at least 14 serious problems with the work performed there. I would never advise anyone to go here. read more

I have been working with Scott at the Fiberglass Body for thirteen years now. It started with just my corvette, but over the years I started bringing other vehicles to him as well. Scott and his crew do fantastic work and they can be trusted. This is not a word you hear often in reference to a mechanic. Scott rebuilt my beloved corvette and she came out looking better than ever. He even managed to find me a great deal on a new interior. All these years later and no issues with paint, or frame or any of the other things I was warned about when I considered 'salvaging' her after she was totaled. We live about a half hour from his location. I pay for an upgraded AAA membership every year just so we can always send the vehicles to him. From time to time I have tried other places nearby. It usually wound up with me in tears and calling Scott for help/advice. My cars have been towed from one mechanic or another back to him at least twice. And each time, Scott found that the suggested repair was either unnecessary or overpriced. Like a hang over, each time I promise - never again! I believe I learned my lesson. I had fiberglass damage to both of my hard top freedom panels on my Jeep Wrangler after they feel off onto the road. I took the damaged panels to Fiberglass Body (FB) and spoke to Greg, who was very friendly, knowledgeable and honest from the beginning. Greg gave me a good quote so I decided to go with him. My car sat in their facility for nearly a month. When I picked it up unbeknownst to me it was missing many of the original parts it came with. However these parts were conveniently all stuff you couldn't see when it was dark out. As soon as the light of day came the following morning I saw all the problems, this was a Saturday. Problems included many trim pieces were missing, and integral pieces like the lower air dam and structural support for the bumper had disappeared. Additionally one fog light was now thoroughly scratched and the other ceased to work at all. The car went back to the shop the following Monday. I dropped by for a surprise inspection on Wednesday and the car hadn't moved. They then spent the next day hastily slapping parts on the car. When I went to pick the car up again, they literally handed me the grill for the hood scoop and told me they couldn't make it fit. I then informed them of the other still missing parts on the car, to which they had no answer and I left in disgust. I'm now pursuing a refund for all labor charges incurred against myself and my insurer. They're fair and the odd time I had a problem with a repair (engine fan repair failure due to faulty plug) they fixed it no problem, as well as a few other minor things at no charge/questions!
