Amazing! The Fix-Ben was so quick to get my phone fixed during a crucial time. I work for a hospital on call so it's very important to have a reliable phone. My phone was on its last limb and getting word by the day. I couldn't walk away from a charger without it shutting off. I could not get ahold of any insurance places and phone stores are only pushing new phones on you for buy one get one. I just needed a fix. Went to take my iPhone 12 pro Max just to fix a broken back and ended up with a phone that has face ID disabled plus I ended with a phone that has a broken flashlight. When I took it before everything worked except having shattered glass. But now everything seems to stop working. YOU SHOULD READ!!!! IF YOU READ ANY REVIEW LET IT BE THIS ONE!!! I went there to have both my back glass and front screen replaced. When I came to pick the phone back up it would no longer stay on and there was damage to the flash and speaker. (They had told me they had damaged the lock button) They then told me that I would have to come back when their technician was in tpo have the repairs made. After days of being told the technician still wasn't in, I decided to take the phone to get a second opinion. I was then told the phone had been totaled and that whoever did the back glass was very inexperienced and had damaged the motherboard when removing it. I went back with this report and asked for a full refund. (which I was not given) Their customer service was rude, condescending, and talked down to me the whole time. I would NEVER and will NEVER recommend this company to anyone. I sadly had to purchase a replacement phone, which they did not cover. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!! (FYI!!!! The phone was not completely destroyed and was functioning quite nicely before the repairs. (contrary to what the owners comment says) The back and fount were damaged but not "destroyed" the phone functioned COMPLETELY FINE before the repairs took place. John from the Fix was able to fix my screen. Soon after my mobile network failed and didn't recognize or allow me to connect to my mobile network. My own cellphone service couldn't help me despite having insurance and told me it wasn't technically "broken" so they couldn't do anything and I would have to buy a new one or sign up for an extended warranty and wait 1 to 2 days and call them back to see if they could repair or fix it. I went back to John from the fix and explained my issue. He told me he was going to fix it and he did! He worked persistently and despite my phone service telling me they would work on it after the warranty, he told me not to but a new phone. Give him some time and that if he can't fix it no one else can. He is truly a wizard and I am grateful I met him and entrusted my phone to him. Bare in mind, the timing of my phone failing and developing a crack couldn't have been more impeccable. I was moving from far away and it was my day to move in to my place in Montclair. He even allowed me to use his phone while he worked on mine so I could direct the movers and notify my family of what was going on and updates throughout. Thank you again John! Oh I waited till I had time to write this review. First contacted them about an Xbox one s repair, I did my research and knew it was probably the power supply internally but figured have a shop do it and save myself a potential migraine. The issue was my Xbox would turn on and sometimes functions fine but it will normally just shut off and I go to try and turn it on and it will just blink/beep and turn off. After asking for an appointment I was told He'd get back with a time in 5 minutes, 3 days and a few texts later he finally tells me he can give me a 10% discount for any inconvenience. I wipe the dust off my device and controller and cords with a Clorox wipe just being courteous. I'm supposed to meet him in the parking structure at 4 and he's late and says his technician should be sitting in his car in the parking lot. We discuss the issue and plugs it into an outlet adapter in his car which I know probably doesn't give enough power to my device (which is the issue). He then telling me potential issues and their prices and that he needs 50 dollars just to check it out (would be applied to overall repair) when I was told the estimate for the whole repair would be 50! Considering I did some homework i knew it could be around here so without hesitation I venmod them the money and was told I'd be given a call back either that night or the next day. I was given a google phone number by the technician which kinda made me feel weird. Cool I figured until 2 days later I never received any updates. I tried to understand that maybe it takes time. I waited a week until I messaged for an update just to not get a response for 2 days this was from the shops main number. When he responded it was 2 days later and just a "hello". I'm clearly messaging an iPhone so I know he sees just above what I'm texting about. I ask again for any updates. (Below). I finally am told I can go pick it up my device a day later but I couldn't make it that night so I went to days later. This is when the story gets good, I pick up my device and when pulling it out the back I can see the man confused. He puts my Xbox on the counter and it appears that someone had dropped it (my device went from the box to the shelf it stayed there until I took it there) so I was beyond confused as to why it looked dirty and had solid pebbles in the outside of the vent holes. I ask the man what the hell and he says it's from the inside after cleaning. I said there is no way because these pebbles would have been shaking if really inside my device before so what the hell. He said he'd clean it off and get me my refund like he was running me out the store. I ask what was the issue and why could he do the repair because they were beyond confident they could fix it at the initial meeting. The tech who took it with him also wasn't there when I went to pick it up and he said something about always being there and he was the one who said he would get in contact with me, not his boss who gave me back the device. I had my sister waiting in the car so I couldn't be there that long but I plan on going back soon to get to the bottom of this. I'd do less then one star if I could. read more

If I could I would give no stars! Right when I go there i specifically ask the man for a case that would fit my daughters iPad. He insisted she needed a new screen protector after I told him I already had a new one I had bought. He then proceeded to insisted on a new screen protector, I told him again about how I already had one. So he said he will include it with my iPad case purchase he said 30$ and I asked him with the case included, he said YEAH! So who wouldn't jump on that deal? So as my daughter happily picked out her case he begins to talk about himself without being asked, he seemed very nice at first. I asked him again about it being 30$ he said yes and put the screen protector on and when he told me my total was 65$ I was confused. I told him about the deal he gave me and he said he already gave me 15$ off? I was stunned by how quick he was to get defensive and upset about the deal he had gave me at first. He said I was dumb that I should've asked the pricing on everything first. Then he proceeded to say I was yelling at him when I was obviously upset and shocked about his service. REAL CON-Artist work here! So I left the case and he said he couldn't take off the protector because he already put it on so I payed 35$ for a SCREEN PROTECTOR! On top of that a women went to pick up her iPad she had left there for a month and it never got fixed after she had payed over 200$ & never got her money back. I went to this place because it's the first one I saw when I walked into the mall. I went there 3 days ago to get my screen fixed, I got my phone back 30 min later so it was closing time, when I got home I noticed there was a crack on the screen and that section of the screen did not work so I went yesterday the workers said they couldn't do anything because it wasn't on their warranty and that I must have dropped it so to come back when owner is there. Mind you this crack was made by them because not once did I drop my phone. I went back today and he said he was going to charge me $50 to replace the screen, mind you I had already paid $85 so I told him no. Long story shorty he charged me $35 for a total of $120 and my phone now has a section on the screen that's brighter than the rest so its not worth it, go to one of the stands in the middle of the mall. read more

Eric the "owner" is a scam. I spent over $100 within minutes getting there. Phone screen wigged out within weeks. Phone case would not fit charger like he said. I did not drop or anything. I bought new screen, case and tempered glass protector. He fixed it since under warranty then said he shouldn't have because of my fault. Never dropped or anything, would not give me tempered glass saying has to pay for another one when that wasn't broken either. He said since I tried to take my case off I must have messed up the inside. Ummm I don't think that is possible but okay; then he snapped part of my phone case while trying to take it off and of course denied it. He tryin to pull something on me and horrible mannerisms. I've been to various screen/ phone repair businesses. But The Fix has been by far the best one I've been to . They have wonderful customer service they are great at communicating with you and letting you know any update they have regarding your device . They make sure they diagnose the problem and actually take the time making sure what the problem is . Most places don't do that for you . They automatically assume it's a screen issue . But here they make sure they try everything to detect the problem with your iPhone . They offer more than just cellular repair . They also do computer repair laptop / MacBook repair . I know as a college student it's expensive get something like that repaired . However , at The Fix it's affordable and done with perfection . The owner is very warm and welcoming . Any questions or concerns you have he doesn't hesitate to answer them . They don't try to hustle you . They really try to help and understand you . I'll definitely be coming back if i encounter myself damaging my phone . With that being said I've also referred a couple of friends to The Fix at Montclair Place . HORRIBLE. I came in with my IPhone X with a cracked glass screen only. I paid 140+ tax equally out about $150 plus I bought a "screen protector" for an extra $15 . The man claims their LED screen replacement is top of the line so I trusted them. I get the phone an hour later and everything is fine I take it home and realize my front camera is not working. I come back 2 days later * I was out of town* and apparently they did not connect the wires properly. They fix the issue with the camera however the same night my phone falls off of my bed onto the SOFT CARPET. My phone BROKE the screen CRACKED. The glass protector did nothing at all and my phone now had hairline cracks In it. Not only did my phones glass crack.. the screen BLACKED out and turned GREEN Every-time I touched it. I did not even waste my time going back to the store because their products are CHEAP! They basically charged me 165 to break my phone lol. Ultimately bought an new IPhone from sprint and moved on..I should have read the reviews before I trusted this place however I did not because they had a storefront.
