I eat at Flame Broiler a lot, all over southern California, and some are better than others. This one has great food, great portions, wonderfully maintained facilities, and they even have sauces dished out in to-go cups for you in case you're in a hurry. Most importantly, this one has Christina. Every now and then in life you meet one of those people on the top of the list of people, a person who gives you faith in humanity and makes your day better no matter how good or bad it's going. Christina is one of those people. She's a shining star. You should meet her. read more

Really good fresh fast food. I usually always get the veggie works bowl, or the chicken veggie bowl with brown rice. I am never disappointed. The portions in the bowl are pretty good, and the customer service is really good too. I Love this place! read more

Food was cooked a little Too high, but luckily i enjoy it that way but not everyone sharing the dinner with me felt the same :( . The customer service was fair at best. I will avoid the location on Mountain Ave-in Upland, and try going to a better location in Chino off Grand Ave. read more

Driving around looking for a spot to eat for lunch and came across this gem! Pretty busy street but was able to find parking with out an issue. Really clean inside and also the staff was really nice and helpful since I've never been to a Flame Broiler. I got the combination bowl with the beef and chicken and OMG was it so good!! Had to add the hot sauce for a little kick since I love spicy. Price was really good and the food was amazing! Definitely recommend this spot for really good food and a friendly staff! read more

This flame broiler location is very convenient. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The portions are much larger then most locations. It was very clean and well presented. The staff looked well trained and prepared the meals quickly for each customer. The taste of the food itself was excellent! The flavors of the meats as well as the fresh cooked veggies makes me want to come back everyday. This is such a healthier option than other fast food or dine in restaurant. I highly recommend coming to this flame broiler and enjoying the wonderful food and customer service!!! read more

I used to come here all the time and then there was a fly in the food so we stopped coming. I decided to give this location another chance and was disappointed. I tried to call to put the order in so I wouldn't have to wait. I called multiple times and they didn't answer the phone. They finally answered the phone after me trying to get through for at least 10 minuets and then they put me hold. I'm not sure why they did not answer the phone. I'm guessing it was because the cashier had head phones on. I knew that they heard the phone because the cook was complaining that a person kept "prank calling". I don't understand how someone calling to put in an order is considered a prank call. This was a very disappointing experience. read more

ok i have to admit that this place is better then Waba Grill. Its on the more expensive side though but pretty decent. The steak meat here is more flavorful. Its pretty close to Waba Grill but i just liked The Flame Broiler much better. I mean dont get me wrong though i will still be going to Waba Grill but it just depends on my mood and taste at the moment. Give The Flame Broiler a try :) read more

We walked through the doors a few minutes before they closed and the worker behind the register kept saying that they're closed and was pointing at his screen. We pulled out our phones to show him that we still had a few more minutes left before it hit 9 pm. Mind you I had tried calling the store to let them know that we were on our way and they didn't pick up (this was 15 mins before they were going to close) As we started walking out the workers said "you don't have to be so disrespectful" We hadn't done anything to be disrespectful to him (unless showing him what time it was was disrespectful) either way I will not be returning to this store anytime soon. read more

The food was alright. I was that impressed by the food it seemed as if it was already cooked and just reheated on the flat top.

After waiting months for this Flame Broiler to open I can finally say it was not worth the wait. The meat was big chucks of white meat, this is totally lazy and could have been chopped smaller which could've been juicier( very dry) which brings me to the beef which was dry as well. The oranges were old and had a bad taste, the vegetables were cold . My family and I spent close to 34.00 dollars! One more thing, they wouldn't take another Flame Broiler's coupon . This is so lame! Overall, this Upland location gave me a bad FB experience . read more

Usually love the store but I came towards the end of the night at 8:30 and they told me they were closed. The crew was very rude about it. I'm a manager for chipotle in upland and was very disappointed with their customer service. I'm sorry but I will no longer eat there due to that. read more

Been a fan of Flame Broiler since high school, so I was happy when I come home from college that they had built one closer to my parents' house. It's super tasty and fresh and definitely beats other fast food joints. It was really quick when I went (Tuesday 6p) which was nice cause I remember waiting up to 20 minutes in high school. One star off for the cashier; she kind of was dazed when I said no sauce and because she had to re-enter in my order. Kind of got huffy puffy especially since I was the only patron in there at the time. The owner was super sweet and nice though from in the kitchen! read more

This place rocks! See my previous review about the one in SD- boo! But this place- AWESOME! I normally call in my orders, and they have to be prepared special due to allergies, but they knock it out of the park every time and have it ready super quick. The owner (or manager?) is super understanding and accommodating of my issues, and acts like it's no big deal. Turns out, he has sensitivities too! I've been to many many flame broilers and they always give you less for your money the bowls are always half way full. But I came to this location today 5/19/16. And the service was good the lady in the back did a good job serving my bowl I ask for extra onion and they actually did add extra unlike other FBs. was standing in line and my daughter asked for the key to the restroom since they feel they need to lock them..They told her no unless she buys something, I got up to the front and asked for the key to the restroom and they said I need to order before they would give me the key.I told them my daughter needs to use the restroom and it is against the law to refuse to give the key to a child and will only do it after I pay...I told them I would never step foot into another Flame Broiler and refuse to ever go there.We went next door to the sub shop and they let her use there bathroom with no questions asked and we spent our money there...Very Rude Manager.....Hope she or her children never need to use the restroom before they pay and eat... read more
