This is a comfy Indian restaurant with delicious food! The momos are very flavorful and juicy and it comes with a nice sauce. It came out pretty quickly. Our entrees took longer, probably 20 minutes but it was worth it. The naan was the perfect balance of crispiness and softness and it had a good amount of garlic. I loved it with the butter chicken. I love that this spot is so close to our house. We come here whenever we want some delicious Indian food. We came on a friday night and was seated immediately. The place started getting pretty busy for dinner. I love that they brought out a complimentary papadam and chutneys as an appetizer. It was so tasty. We always get different dishes, but for dinner this time we decided to get the house special biryani and chicken tikka masala with an order of cheese naan and garlic naan. Wow. My family and I love Bombay Curry. It's some of the best Indian food in the area. We've eaten here with a group of 3-6 on numerous occasions and the food is consistently flavorful, hot, fresh, and supremely delicious. We routinely order the samosas, gobi Manchurian, and chicken 65 to start (all delicious but the gobi is one of my favorites anywhere!) For entrees, we get chicken tikka masala, lamb vindaloo, palak paneer, malai kafta, tandoori chicken, amongst others. They've all been great. Their sauces/curries are so well spiced and seasoned, they also ask you to choose a spice level which I appreciate! The service is attentive and everyone we've met is kind and helpful. My wife and I just came back from this restaurant. Everything was really good. We started out with a Gobi Manchurian appetizer, which is cauliflower. We asked them to cool it down a little bit. Then Chicken tikka masala and fish korma. Both were very flavorful but had quite different spices which were not too hot so it allowed you to really taste the food. And an order of garlic naan. Very rude service and extremely uncomfortable experience. The restaurant is supposed to close at 10:00 PM, but staff started trying to push us out around 9:15 PM. The owner or manager became upset when the lady with me did not want to continue a conversation with him, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. Then they turned the lights on brightly, and several employees sat at a table next to us talking loudly and disrespectfully . We felt unwelcome and harassed. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. We started with tray of 3 toppings for a very light cracker and also ordered vegetable samosas filled with potatoes and peas. Then had jasmine rice with our meals. Chicken Tikka masala was a huge change for me who typically loves to eat chicken curry. But I'd have this meal again. Don't let the location fool you, Bombay Curry is called that for a reason, it's the bomb. They provide complimentary papad and pickeled onion as soon as you are seated. The staff is quick and attentive. The menu has an array of traditional Indian fare. A must have is the Gobi Manchurian, I could eat this every day. Crisps paired with well seasoned sauces that's complimentary--always a positive thing to me. The cheese is as pretty scant in the inside. To be honest I expected it to more fluffy and less oily. Still decent, but I preferred my friends' garlic naan which was very fluffy and light. 3.5/5 The samosa chaat and the chicken tandoori were my favorites. The samosa chaat was very flavorful, slightly spicy! I really enjoyed all the textures from soft round chickpeas and green peas to the crispy samosa exterior. The chicken tandoori came out piping hot and even came with a cup of sauce that reminded me of tikka masala sauce. The chicken tandoori by itself was already salted and juicy that it didn't need the sauce but it was still great to have. 5/5 for both. Service was great, very attentive at clearing plates. My friend accidentally left her glasses at the table and they ran out as we were leaving to return them to her. Parking widely available as it was located in a plaza. WOW. I was absolutely blown away by our dishes from Bombay Curry. We ordered takeout and our food was ready right when expected, and remained warm even after the 25 min drive back home. We ordered the samosa chaat, chaana saag, chicken tikka masala, and vegetable momos. The samosa chaat was out of this world - perfectly balanced with all of the chutneys, toppings, and samosas. I was m surprised to find shrimp inside the biryani tender and not overcooked, which is so easy to do. I wish we lived closer to here! I ate here 3 years ago, right after they opened, and they were fantastic then. The food I mean. In 2022 there was no ambiance as such, but the food was the best I had eaten in my 50 years in the States. I had been spoiled in Britain back in the 60's, but arrived in NC before ginger root was even available in grocery stores! Forget spices! Bombay Curry has completely 'tarted' themselves up now. Everything has changed inside, nice booths, lighting, decoration, presentation, the usual great staff and you only have to look at their 5'star ratings to realize that 99% of us love the food!
