Another great breakfast experience at TFE! We never miss a chance for breakfast here when in town. We did wait for about 15 minutes after our 1015 arrival but then got seated fasted and orders placed quickly. Food was out in 15 minutes tops even when busy. My Denver breakfast wrap and side of ham was amazing as it always is. My only gripe is that I had to pay $1.50 extra to have it made custom vs just holding the cheese (as I requested) from the menu set item as it was which was 50 cents more. How is it 50 cents more to hold off an item? Do note also, that OJ is $4.50 a tall glass and getting flavored hotcakes vs original is also a 4.50 upcharge. My kiddos 'normal' plate and OJ was over $20 lol! More than mine or my wife's plates! Just watch the upcharge prices as it adds up. The food however is absolutely amazing and the service is on point all the time. Great spot for delicious food in big portions!

Our brunch was fantastic! Bobby Joe our server was excellent and always checking on us. The food was so good and the order was all correct and correctly cooked. I got over medium eggs and they were cooked perfect. Nice traditional cafe ambiance.

Service is not very consistent. Server took our order and never came back. Coffee cup sat empty. Food is less than desirable French toast tastes like dry toast smothered in powdered sugar. Food is cold.

Great food, crazy high prices. Skip this place.

Do you like average food that requires a long wait and most of your money? If so, this is your spot. The pancakes are great but cost $15 bucks plus another $4 for gluten free. Rip off. Skip this place and go to Cracker Barrel.

Flipping Eggs does not disappoint. We went Aug 11th (sorry for late review) It was a brief wait for a table. We received our meal in a timely manner. We had breakfast skillets. Eggs, Texas Hash, bacon and cheese. It was a little more than I could handle. I had leftovers that evening. I have eaten there multiple times and look forward to returning. Thank you Flipping Egg staff!

The service isn't the best but our waitress was accommodating one she did make it to us. The waffles were light and fluffy and tasted sweet without any syrup.

Solid spot for some classic breakfast options. Service was super fast and the food was pretty delicious. The seating was a little different, sorta seat yourself but watch for a table which made it a little odd as there are people watching you to leave so they can snag your table but overall a good spot for a quick delicious bite.

Not a comment on breakfast, just have had lunch there. Avoid, a gas station stop is much better for the price. And better eating too.

The vibes were immaculate from the stunning decor to the chill music, it was giving Sunday afternoon on a Friday at 10:00 am. Chef Alex let me sample the Lemon Basil Chicken Salad which was truly elevated and delicious. (Best I've ever had, by a landslide) so I had to order it on the crescent. I also had the Italiano Panini which was an explosion of flavor! It paired perfectly with the cold pasta salad which effortlessly balances flavors of harissa, black olive, and sweet cherry tomatoes with just enough hint of spice to awaken the senses and make you crave more. Chef Alex does not miss! Believe it or not, the most amazing thing about this place is not the ambiance or the food. What drew me in and will keep me coming back over and over again is the fact that the owners Chef Alex and his wife April have captured the feeling you get when visiting a small family owned restaurant in Italy. The personal service, charismatic interaction with the chef, and a sense of the passion they bring to every detail of your experience! Especially the food. They are genuine and hard working and deserve all the success in the world!

The special they are running right now is the #2 sub, chips, and drink for $10.99. An excellent sub and an excellent value. The Abilene store is quite small, so the seating area is very crowded. You are definitely back to back with the next table, so getting it to go might be a better idea. Again, great food and I'm glad they finally made it to Abilene.

Everyone else uses paper to avoid cross-contamination. Not here. They scrape, shrug, and start again. This place is DEFINITELY NOT SAFE for anyone with food allergies or sensitivities! They also drench the previous sandwich in vinegar, scrape the board like they're mad at it, and then slap your bread down right on the damp battlefield. Mine tasted like vinegar even though he didn't put any on it. Couldn't have onions, yet the sub made right before mine had a mountain of them... and that mess became my sandwich's foundation. And the price? Twenty bucks. For a "Giant" which was just everyone else's foot long or regular. My coupons are going in the trash, and I am never going back.
