Had a good visit this morning- super fast service. Loved the wall murals throughout the restaurant, the little details made anyone crave a southern breakfast. Food was good, huge potions! One of our glasses did have some dirt in it, but otherwise the shop seemed clean.

Took a business trip to this area for the week and got tired of the hotel breakfast so we needed to try something else. Found this place after doing a quick search. Came here around 9am on a Saturday morning. Busy crowd but plenty of seating available. Quick service. After perusing the menu for a bit I had a great feeling about this place. Lots of great options to choose from. It was actually difficult to decide. I ended up going with the egg-stravaganza, scrambled, home fries instead of grits. This was just the kind of breakfast I needed. Everything was great. The biscuit of the softest and fluffiest biscuit I think I've ever had. Loved the chicken sausage patty and the French toast with the sauces was delicious. Fast friendly service with a great variety of breakfast treats. Come hungry and leave satisfied, just like I did.

The restaurant itself is really nice, they actually have their own artist that comes in and does all the decorating. The service was really good. We got immediate service and they were waiting on us hand and foot basically. They did a really good job and making sure that we knew that they were there. The food was solid as well. I tried the mimosa, the most was okay. I mean it was nothing special, but it had a decent balance of juice and champagne. I got the hot chicken and waffle and I got a side of grits. It came with sausage gravy and an egg. It makes it seem like it to be a weird conversation to have chicken and waffle with sausage gravy but everything went together really well. This location really took care of us and I would go back.

my husband and I went here for the first time, the interior was cute, love the paintings on the wall! our service was awesome so i wish i got her name but super helpful and explained some stuff on the menu for us. The food was delicious we wanted to try a lot but will have to come back because there was so much. we got the eggstravaganza which comes with a lot and the piedmont omelette with added collards

Define biscuit has several different locations throughout Detroit Lana. I decided to check out the Kennesaw location. The staff was very friendly. They weren't very busy and it was pretty steady and I went on a Thursday morning. I tried out a couple different things one of the items was a monthly special that they had, the blueberry crunch pancakes. The pancakes were huge, and they had a blueberry compote with a granola on top as well, and the pancakes were made from oatmeal. I didn't think I was gonna like them, but I really did enjoy those pancakes. I also got the Piedmont omelette. My go to breakfast item is always an omelette and this one was really good. Wish it was a bit a little cheesier but all in all pretty good. I also got the shrimp and grits. The shrimp to grits proportion was off a little bit to me. I understand that you're not going to get a whole other shrimp, but I wish I would've been a little bit something more with it. Like if they had it a little more of the sauce on top or maybe like some bell pepper onions. And me saying all this is not saying that the shrimp and grits were not good. They were delicious. Just wanted a little bit more to the dish. I have the pancake tacos with the start of the show for me. I was not expecting them to be so large, I was able to have, of course lots of leftovers and ate the tacos over the course of a couple days. The flying biscuit this is a really great go to breakfast brunch spot you're not gonna be disappointed in anything that you have. So far out of the locations that I've been I would say that the Kennesaw is my favorite.

This is my favorite breakfast spot. I ordered the southern omelette and the breakfast tacos. The staff were great and my coffee cup never got empty. This was our first visit to this location. We think this is new location and enjoyed the look.

Was in the mood for brunch and this was this first restaurant to show up in my vicinity so I decided to check it out. For a place that has "biscuit" in the name the biscuits were extremely underwhelming and boring, and honestly the rest of the meal paralleled the biscuits in this regard. The staff was fine and the aesthetics were okay. Just an overall okay restaurant. You're welcome!

Lots of close-up free parking. And ahhh...the food: My strategy at all-you-can-eat buffets is this: for the first plate, I just take one bite-sized serving of each item that looks good. Then for the second plate, I go back and get more of my favorites, the items that tasted the best. Then the third plate I try the items I didn't try, the things that maybe didn't "look good" or whatever. Cornbread: savory, southern style (not the sweet yankee corn cake you get at other places) Collard Greens: seasoned southern style, from fresh, not canned. Beef tips: tender chunks in gravy, with white rice or mashed potatoes, your choice. Baked chicken: tender, juicy, with carrots and onions. BBQ chicken: on the bone, tender, juicy, a little bit spicy. Cabbage: lightly seasoned, tender Salad: iceberg or romaine lettuce, sweet beets, olives, croutons, tomatoes, grated cheese, and lots of other choices. Spaghetti: good, but not as good as Frankie's (Amazing Italian Restaurant across the street) Sweet Potato: candied, with cinnamon. Side dish or dessert. Peach cobbler: yummy! The crust was soooo good. Sweet tea: included in price. I get half sweet, half unsweet, no ice. And the server mixed it perfectly. I'll post a photo of their weekly menu. There are daily staples for every day, then weekly specials. The restroom was clean.

When I arrived, I grabbed a piece of chicken and it was already cold, so I decided to wait for them to bring out a fresh batch. Same thing with the chicken livers: cold and not refreshed the entire time we were eating. Near the end of the meal, I finally asked if they were planning to put out fresh chicken. I explained that I tried it when I got there (about 30 minutes earlier) and it was cold, and nothing had been replaced. The staff member said she could start working on some, so I waited. About 12 to 15 minutes later, they did bring out fresh chicken and fresh chicken livers, and honestly, when it's fresh it's actually pretty good. The mashed potatoes were another issue. They had a thick, crusty layer on top, and it looked like they dumped the old, dried-out potatoes from the previous pan over the fresh batch. I had to scrape off the crusty topping just to get to the fresh potatoes underneath. Overall, the food itself isn't terrible. The bigger problem is the way it's being handled. It felt like they were more focused on cutting costs and stretching old food than keeping the buffet fresh and consistent. My advice: if something you want looks like it's been sitting out too long, say something early before you sit down. If you wait, you may never see fresh food brought out.

Unfortunately, the experience was terrible from start to finish. We had reservations for 10:45 AM on May 23. Due to the rain, we arrived around 10:53, but some of the ladies were already there waiting. After being seated, it took about 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us to ask for drinks. We all ordered water... and then we waited. And waited. About 30-40 minutes passed without anyone taking our food order, even though the restaurant was not busy. We noticed another group who came in after us eventually just get up and leave. Honestly, we should have done the same. Around 11:30, as we were gathering our things to leave, the owner came over asking where we were going. I explained that no one had taken our order and that we were hungry. She convinced us to stay and brought out chicken croquettes and biscuits "to hold us over." The biscuits were decent, but the croquettes were not good. Then we waited ANOTHER hour. Our food didn't arrive until around 12:30 PM. During that time, my sister and I literally walked to another restaurant nearby, ordered food there, ate, and came back -- and our food had just arrived. To make matters worse, the chicken was undercooked. As shown in the photo, it was raw inside and dripping excessively. Absolutely unacceptable and unsafe. On top of all of that, when I went to pay, I noticed I was being overcharged. I had to ask for an itemized receipt, and suddenly the total dropped significantly. That alone was frustrating and unprofessional. The overall environment was also uncomfortable. The cook was sweating heavily over the food while talking, which did not make the experience any better. I paid for meals my family didn't even enjoy just to leave and go somewhere else to actually eat. The only thing decent about this experience was the homemade-style biscuits. I do not recommend this restaurant if you are expecting good service, timely food, professionalism, or quality control. This was my personal experience, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst brunch experiences I've had in a long time.
