Had a good visit this morning- super fast service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Loved the wall murals throughout the restaurant, the little details made anyone crave a southern breakfast.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food was good, huge potions! One of our glasses did have some dirt in it, [[HIGHLIGHT]]but otherwise the shop seemed clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The service was incredibly efficient, friendly and honestly delightful. Thank you to our server Timothy who was amazing. LOVED the food. Pictures below is the Egg-Stravaganza* Grits are buttery and delish!

Brown sugar oatmeal creamy and sweet. The white cheddar grits are devine! Not gluten free friendly

Took a business trip to this area for the week and got tired of the hotel breakfast so we needed to try something else. Found this place after doing a quick search. Came here around 9am on a Saturday morning. Busy crowd but plenty of seating available. Quick service. After perusing the menu for a bit I had a great feeling about this place. Lots of great options to choose from. It was actually difficult to decide. I ended up going with the egg-stravaganza, scrambled, home fries instead of grits. This was just the kind of breakfast I needed. Everything was great. The biscuit of the softest and fluffiest biscuit I think I've ever had. Loved the chicken sausage patty and the French toast with the sauces was delicious. Fast friendly service with a great variety of breakfast treats. Come hungry and leave satisfied, just like I did.

The restaurant itself is really nice, they actually have their own artist that comes in and does all the decorating. The service was really good. We got immediate service and they were waiting on us hand and foot basically. They did a really good job and making sure that we knew that they were there. The food was solid as well. I tried the mimosa, the most was okay. I mean it was nothing special, but it had a decent balance of juice and champagne. I got the hot chicken and waffle and I got a side of grits. It came with sausage gravy and an egg. It makes it seem like it to be a weird conversation to have chicken and waffle with sausage gravy but everything went together really well. This location really took care of us and I would go back.

Define biscuit has several different locations throughout Detroit Lana. I decided to check out the Kennesaw location. The staff was very friendly. They weren't very busy and it was pretty steady and I went on a Thursday morning. I tried out a couple different things one of the items was a monthly special that they had, the blueberry crunch pancakes. The pancakes were huge, and they had a blueberry compote with a granola on top as well, and the pancakes were made from oatmeal. I didn't think I was gonna like them, but I really did enjoy those pancakes. I also got the Piedmont omelette. My go to breakfast item is always an omelette and this one was really good. Wish it was a bit a little cheesier but all in all pretty good. I also got the shrimp and grits. The shrimp to grits proportion was off a little bit to me. I understand that you're not going to get a whole other shrimp, but I wish I would've been a little bit something more with it. Like if they had it a little more of the sauce on top or maybe like some bell pepper onions. And me saying all this is not saying that the shrimp and grits were not good. They were delicious. Just wanted a little bit more to the dish. I have the pancake tacos with the start of the show for me. I was not expecting them to be so large, I was able to have, of course lots of leftovers and ate the tacos over the course of a couple days. The flying biscuit this is a really great go to breakfast brunch spot you're not gonna be disappointed in anything that you have. So far out of the locations that I've been I would say that the Kennesaw is my favorite.

Egg Stravaganza meal and the Piedmont Omelette with greens added to it.

my husband and I went here for the first time, [[HIGHLIGHT]]the interior was cute, love the paintings on the wall![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] our service was awesome so i wish i got her name but super helpful and explained some stuff on the menu for us. The food was delicious we wanted to try a lot but will have to come back because there was so much. we got the eggstravaganza which comes with a lot and the piedmont omelette with added collards

This is my favorite breakfast spot. I ordered the southern omelette and the breakfast tacos. The staff were great and my coffee cup never got empty. This was our first visit to this location. We think this is new location and enjoyed the look.

Was in the mood for brunch and this was this first restaurant to show up in my vicinity so I decided to check it out. For a place that has "biscuit" in the name the biscuits were extremely underwhelming and boring, and honestly the rest of the meal paralleled the biscuits in this regard. The staff was fine and the aesthetics were okay. Just an overall okay restaurant. You're welcome!

Is there a patio? Pet friendly?

Yes, they have a patio. But there are often yellow jackets especially in September and October. Not sure about pets.

First off, I love the history of this building... 1800s, supposedly the jail at some point long ago. You can just feel the history and imagine what took place in there as you sit and wait for your meal. The staff are all fun and attentive, and our server -- who was also tending bar that day -- was amazing! We were there early enough for the half priced apps, and weren't hungry enough for a full meal. I ordered a side salad with ranch, and we split the smoked nachos. When they came out, it was a huge portion and enough for both my wife and I. The only drawback is that they didn't have any sour cream that we could add to the nachos... It may seem trivial, but I've never needed anyplace that didn't have sour cream for the nachos. Because of that, I will give this a 4.75 stars. We will definitely be back!

However, what truly stood out to me was how the situation was handled afterward. Her professionalism, genuine concern, and willingness to address the issue spoke volumes about her leadership and dedication to customer service. Situations can happen anywhere, but great management is what makes the difference, and she handled it exceptionally well. I would also like to give a special shoutout to our favorite waitress, Ashley. She has always been amazing, attentive, and consistently goes above and beyond to make sure we are well taken care of. And I had to study it to find something interesting. I asked the server about the Bahn MI, a Vietnamese type sandwich. He recommended it, so I ordered it. When did portions get so small?? Maybe they should get smaller ceramic plates. The sandwiches looked marooned on an island. The flavor was missing something...lime juice Maybe? The side of fruit salad was okay. My husband stayed with his usual; a well done burger. The fries on his plate didn't look good. They looked they had been made in a large batch and served up all day. I'm done with Marlowe's. As soon as you walk in they greet you and help you out, then the bartender (I came by myself so I sat on the bar) approached me with the most warmth and helped me getting something according to her experience and taste but considering my taste and preferences. Had a lovely time. We got a cocktail before we came at Third Door...took a shortcut through Hansell St, walked through the tiny but charming Church Street Park, and ultimately landed at our (mostly) nondescript location of Spring. Note that this is the "original"...not the more casual (but supposedly great) 2nd branch location. Service is welcoming immediately upon arrival. It is a small venue with a limited number of tables. Essentially the size of a living room. It is also a minuscule menu...but curated with care and delivered with diligence. Please note that I would recommend trying a wine glass or two from the available selection. They put thought into the list of options, so I think you can't go wrong, and you can certainly ask about what flavor profiles you'd like as the team is quite knowledgeable. We enjoyed the Domaine Terrebrune and the Pinot Noir, but I'm sure all the wines are wonderful. Food was awesome as well. Really loved their rendition of an Andalusian soup (ajo blanco...think of it as equivalent to a white gazpacho) and the foamy garlic cream laden pasta. Would also recommend the grilled grouper and asparagus salad with salmon on the side. We also enjoyed all three desserts, though we overestimated our appetite by the end of the dinner!

The sides wete quite good, the best part of our meals. The salad was okay though the dressing was on the more bland side and fresh ground pepper helped its flavor profile quite a bit. For a restaurant calling itself a "chophouse" and supposedly upscale, you would think they would know how to cook a steak or use a better quality steak. Our filets were cooked to proper temperature but lacked any taste of salt or seasoning and lacked any searing on the outside. The meat was chewy rather than tender and made us wonder "what's so special about this place" where parking availability is also a challenge!? So you would think dessert would be hard to mess up, but our cheesecake was nothing special at all. We've had better tasting Sara Lee cheesecake from the supermarket; definitely below expectation. We'll consider giving it another try, but at their prices there are so many other tried and true steakhouse we much prefer.
