There is a seating area in the back, they have games, but the seating is just hard chairs and long tables. The place is high ceilings so I imagine it can get loud here on some nights, but it was dead here except for one guy doing work at night. The service is pretty mediocre - they really had no desire to check in on guests or welcome us, just wasting time talking to each other until closing time. The only time they talked to us was to tell us when they were closing up. My bf and I tried the peppermill Turkey panini w/spinach wrap, Buffalo chicken hoagie, Italian hoagie, Paradise wrap And their chicken potato veggie chowder. Everything delicious and zero complaints about the taste. I occasionally tend to add hot sauce or honey mustard to my sandwiches/wraps, but the food here is always packed with a ton of flavor. This is an awesome place to hang out in Phoenixville. It's a local market with sandwiches, drinks, some grocery items, and games. We hung out for a while and had some grocery snacks and drinks that we enjoyed. They have beer on tap along with lots of drink options in bottles (including my favorite, kombucha). We shared a couple of sandwiches: the Fooben with pastrami and Dad of Diablo. Both were delicious. I liked the Dad of Diablo a little more. We came here from out of town, ate lunch (horrible) then took a walk up the street on a day they had a festival and when we returned to leave our Lexus was towed away! $300 later plus a $30 Uber ride, we are on our way back home to New Jersey. This was my first time to the Foodery and I am so upset that I hadn't discovered it sooner! It is one of the few places left that have reasonably priced meals. Their sandwiches are also delicious and packed so nicely. It is the same system as Wawa (order at the screen and then pay). Their craft sandwich creations are unique, but the pickier eaters can also customize any wrap or sandwich they want! The place also features a large selection of alcohol and chips. It is clean with nice seating sections inside and outside. It also has board games and cornhole for families or kids to enjoy. I will definitely be back for more take out or sit down. In the time of COVID, thank goodness for The Foodery for providing sustenance in the form of gourmet snacks, delicious sandwiches, and the best beer selection this side of the Schuylkill. As far as beers go, if you want it, you can find it at The Foodery. They are little on the pricey side, but the value and convenience of this one-stop shop can't be beat. They're sandwiches are delicious, and ordering is simple, using a touch-screen you can customize your order or use one of their house sandwiches as a jumping-off point. One downside is the COVID hours are a little wonky. We were looking forward to sandwiches one Saturday night, but the deli part closed at 6pm, and we arrived at 6:03. We would have tried to arrive on time, but assuming Saturday hours were later than they were, we missed out. I don't blame the business, thought. After all, this is an "unprecedented time." The snacks selection is on point at the Foodery. This is one of the few places I've found Hi-Chews! They have a fun selection of candies, chips, and cookies that you can't always find at your standard corner store. Before Corona, there were indoor and outdoor seating options with TVs and slow jams. The setting and decoration has a very cool and relaxed vibe. They have a deli where they make sandwiches and paninis using Boars Head deli meats. They have some recommended sandwiches to order from or you can create your own with the easy to order from touchscreens. They have a nice little grocery section with some baked goods, salads, sauces, and other items from local vendors. Nice indoor/outdoor seating with good WiFi where you can relax or work for a bit. She parked, wanted to grab something up the street and then go to the Foodery and get her sandwich, and her car was being towed by them approx 8 minutes from when she parked it. No one there cared. We recently moved to the area and saw the menu on yelp and everyone agreed to order lunch from here. It was a newer sandwich shop in the area and I was excited to try it out. It is in the heart of Phoenixville, but they have their own parking lot. (Huge plus!) Their sandwich variety was inexpensive and they appealed to all different pallets. We've been to the manayunk/roxborough location many times and we're excited to hear that there was a phoenixville branch opening.. finally got a chance to stop in tonight for dinner. Was a nice surprise to see that you could order through touchscreen, makes customizing a lot easier. My husband and I both ordered paninis ( a Reuben and a turkey). They took a bit longer to prepare, which they have signage to warn you about around the order screens, but it was still pretty quick. Sandwiches were tasty and the huge beer selection was glorious. 1/11/2019 While in town for a trade show, we decided to take a break from setting up to grab some lunch. We decided on a local sandwich show to fill that need. The first one we checked out had great choices but with no seating, and the outside temp 29, we decided an eat-in place it would have to be. In comes The Foodery. The Foodery was a Yelp find totally. We entered to find what I would have to say it the largest selection of beers from around the world on one side of the place I have seen in recent times!! The other side was a typical deli that served up some very non-typical sandwiches. My colleague and I ordered the "Smoked Dude" sandwich, mine on Ciabotta bread with a pickle wedge. I chose bacon cheddar chips as a side with a Hank's premium root beer. This sandwich is one of the best I've had in a long time. The meat was Cajun seasoned with cheese and Avocado. It was fantastic! You know I really wanted to give this place a great review, I've actually been here 4 times in hopes I would have positive things to say. So I'm going to tell you the positive's first, they are one of the only sandwich shops in Phoenixville that have boars head deli meat, my preference every time! Next the owner is super nice and willing to try and help to fix any situation. He also is trying to bring fun things to do to his establishment and the area, this is something to be respected. Now for the not so great parts, I have yet to get the sandwich that I ordered at this location, every time it's completely different than what I put in their computer system. Each time it's been wrong and I approached the person making the sandwiches, I have been talk to rudely and told that I must have put it in wrong, even though the receipt tells you exactly what you ordered and what I ordered is not what they gave me. The staff is rude, the bartender, the cashiers, the people that work in the deli. I know it's not hard to find great people and Phoenixville because they work and a lot of other establishments and they don't have these problems. At first glance this seems like a sweet spot. Although, I can only get three stars based on my unsatisfactory experience with the sandwich that I ever bought. I thought that seven dollars for a sandwich was quite reasonable, then I realized it's that low because it's small and barely had any meat. I got the artisan bread which was quite dry as artisan bread usually is. Seems like only one maybe two slices of meat. No cheese. Even with honey mustard it was still the driest sandwich I've ever eaten. Could not finish. I'd rather pay $10 or $12 for a completed sandwich that doesn't turn into dry concrete in my mouth. I recommend you spend the extra money for the extra meat on your sandwich. Then you will have a regular amount of meat. Oh, but the interior atmosphere is a hipster daydream. After working in Rittenhouse, I've walked past the Foodery there multiple times and never got around to going there... To my boyfriend and I's delight, we learned that there was one right in his hometown (go Phantoms)! It's only six minutes away from his house AND they have a parking lot. After looking for the elusive Allagash 2017 Hibernal Fluxus for two months (we've called Tria, Tria Taphouse, Monks, etc., weekly along with checking Allagash's website religiously), we FINALLY FOUND IT!!!! With the beer bottle in one hand, I decided to look for any interesting snacks and saw the deli kiosk. Out of curiosity, I decided to see what they had to offer. It was almost dinner and it wouldn't hurt, right? I decided that the S1 Diablo's ingredients and its price would be worthwhile to try and after taking a bite of it, OMG. Buffalo chicken with a delicious chipotle mayo sauce, pepper jack cheese, green peppers, and AVOCADO (they didn't skimp either) all on a ciabatta roll for less than $6?! I can't believe I've done so many quick beer runs here and never thought to try the food. I've heard multiple times from friends that the food is pretty great but I'm not much of a sandwich person so I never cared to try anything that was outside of my usual taste. Loved the sandwich, love the beer options although definitely pricier than the local Giant and Wegmans, with the latter having a good enough selection. Deducted a star because the staff was somewhat awkward and unfriendly. I get that it's cold and miserable outside but an acknowledgment of any sort would have worked. I had never visited another Foodery before. So it was a brand new experience to me. It's a combo of unique food/snacks, deli, and beer wonderland. There is also outdoor seating. If you are overwhelmed by the number of beer choices you can use their kiosk to narrow down your selection. You can also chat with the bartender (oh yeah, there's also a bar) and they can make a good recommendation. I've been twice and both times my husband and I purchased some yummy beer and a panini to share. I love the cajun turkey panini. It's the perfect amount of spice. A friendly reminder if you do order a panini it can take 10-15 minutes to make, so order your sammy first and then peruse the beer selection. This is a great place to stop in for lunch, if your visiting a nearby BYOB (they sell wine too!), or just about any time. Love this place! read more

As far as I know, this is the only Foodery location outside of a Philadelphia zip code, and it's by far the best one I've ever been to. I recently moved out of center city to Phoenixville and was thrilled to discover a Foodery that is approximately triple the size and cleanliness of either center city location. Bonus features include an outdoor deck and parking lot immediately adjacent to the building, the latter of which seems to have increasing importance these days. The bad news is that this Foodery has the same high prices as those in center city, so it's not exactly a budget option, despite serving primarily sandwiches and bagged snacks. You could very easily come here and spend $20 on a cold sandwich, bag of chips, and bottle of beer. On the other hand, the sandwich + chips + beer are of particularly high quality, so the price isn't totally unfair. The bottom line is that this place is essentially a bougie Wawa. If that appeals to you, then you'll appreciate it--but if not, you won't be impressed. read more

Sadly I'm not much of a drinker anymore since this place was loaded with coolers full of single beers/six packs and a draft beer station along with the deli.
