What can I say it's a buffet inside a casino. Definitely nothing like the ones in Vegas but for the local casino it's not bad. This is the best indian casino buffet in the desert. It has a good variety. We have come when the quality was not up to the 4 stars. Yesterday, I was giving it 4.5 stars, but the steak was not hot, kinda lukewarm as was most of the foods, so back to 4 stars. The steak is very tender and tasty. The grilled vegetables hit the spot. The tempura shrimp was great. The ribs were tender and the sauce was good. The chicken noodle bisque was quite hearty. It was a very satisfying meal!! read more

I don't want to do this since I (used to) come here all the time, and it's been mostly good experiences. This time however was different, and since it is a potential health hazard, I had to make others aware. I tried one of their new pork dishes and it immediately made me uneasy after eating. About 10 minutes in, I had to throw up in the bathroom. Thinking I got everything up, I went back in to get my moneys worth, but unfortunately, I had the same issue happen again. As soon as I ate again, I felt sick again. I told the old manager lady on duty about it, and instead of acknowledging the issue, she simply told me "our food can't make you sick immediately, it must've been something else you ate". Well, my last meal was almost 24 hours prior to this incident, so why did I feel fine until I ate your food? I told her I didn't want a refund/discount, but that I wanted to make her aware so she could either pull the item or at least let the chefs know. Instead, she just told me that it was impossible to get sick from food you just ate, which is clearly a lie. It was so bad that I couldn't even drive home right away. I had to throw up a couple more times and lie down for over an hour before my body recovered. Not sure why they would put someone like her in charge of food if you don't even care that your customer gets sick from it. I spent my birthday celebration at Fresh Grill Buffet inside Fantasy Casino. Since we took a weekend family vacation at a nearby resort in Indio, California, Fresh Grill was the best dinner choice since it was a couple miles away. We had one main server, forgot his name. All servers were friendly and worked well as a team. They were attentive to my family members (8 adults and 4 children). They were solid. My family members and myself agreed that food was good. Well presented, fresh, clean food areas, and professional food servers making sure food items were stocked. The dessert bar looked appetizing, noticing there were sugar-free desserts. I normally don't see much of at other buffets, that I've been to. As for buffet prices, I'm use to the $23 (with sushi and teppanyaki grill) to $33 range for adults, in San Diego. And, these are weekend and dinner prices. I did not like the children's price. I had four of my grandkids, ages under 8 years old, that joined in on my birthday celebration. Again, I did not like the children's price but loved the look on their faces when they saw the desserts and variety of food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant appeared bland and plain looking. Sunday brunch price $34.99 plus tax and tip. The quality and large variety of food choices make this a good value for the price. There is a lower amount for children. I usually avoid buffet style restaurants, simply because I like to be served when dining out. On this occasion, I was with 3 friends and it was someone else's turn to choose the restaurant. They highly recommended it. I was with each food station, from carved meats to Italian, Seafood, Mexican, and Mediterranean dishes. There was a circular dessert station and a wonderful chocolate fountain and several fruits, pretzels, marshmallow, and diced Angel food cake to dip in it. The service was great, the servers kept the dishes filled and the dining tables clean. The restaurant I'd located on the main floor of the Fantasy Springs in Indio. I want to Thank Sauya Wuyamanne for his Excellent Service. I bring my senior group to Fantasy Springs every year and one of my friends couldn't come because she lost her husband. Her favorite thing at Fantasy Springs is not the gambling, which she loves, but the bread pudding. I asked Sauya if I could purchase some to cheer her up, he reminded me it was a buffet and I understood. Once I told him of her loss, he told me he would leave me some at the cashiers desk. I WAS OVERWHELMED WITH HIS GENEROSITY. I took it to her and she was extremely happy. She called me the next day and said not only was bread pudding delicious, but he had put a condolence note in the bag. This was my first visit to this buffet, as I live 50 miles away in Beaumont. I was impressed with the quality of food and the wide variety of items available. My favorites were: prime rib, turkey breast, ribs, tempura shrimp, egg rolls, and the assorted cakes and pies, At only $34.95 it is a far better value than the artsy fartsy buffet at Morongo that is $14 more expensive....Of course, the best buffet value around is still Golden Coral for $18.....but it is way over in San Bernardino.... read more

Don't miss this rare and lavish experience! We were given Christmas money to splurge and this was incredible! The buffet area is smaller than many other casino buffets, but don't be fooled. Everything we put on our plates was top notch and at a great price. There wasn't anything more we could have hoped for. We kept saying, "taste this", "you've got to try this". The prime rib was flavorful and I seriously believe I could have eaten it without teeth! Horse radish was creamy good and so fresh. Oysters on the half shell were sooo good and the steamed mussels were tender and just perfect. Quality, quality quality all the way from source to mouth. I like this buffet. It's a little expensive, but the food is okay. However, yesterday I was there and getting some enchiladas. A cook was cleaning up the salsa, sour cream, guacamole area right next to me. She was not wearing gloves and used her fingers to wipe guacamole that was in between serving bowls back into the guacamole bowl. So I misread an invitation to a baby shower I was attending, I thought it started at 1PM but it started at 3pM, so my buddy suggested we kill time at the casino buffet near by. What a good friend! I don't think I had enjoyed a buffet since before the pandemic, so this was a nice treat. Good variety of food offerings and it's very reasonably priced. Is the food the best quality? No, but it's a buffet, I don't expect premium quality cuisine while lining up to make my own plate. I've been here pre-pandemic and post-pandemic. There isn't much different from pre and post, except for the protein offerings. I feel like there were better options for the carving station before. This is a buffet that caters to most tastes. Food will be fine, but nothing will be amazing. They have American-type foods on the the carving station, along with traditional offerings like ribs, mashed potatoes, stuffing, some sort of fish, etc. They usually have some roasted vegetables. I always grab those. The Asian section has items like Panda express, but only 3 or four choices. Mexican station has some good variety. I like the enchiladas. There is a small Italian section that usually has a good baked pasta and sausages and meatballs. Mid-day, there are some breakfast type items. Salad bar is actually pretty darn good. They have several prepared salads that are all tasty. Though you won't find crab legs, they sometimes have peel and eat shrimp. There are some cut up fruit options and a make yourself salad area. I know they have soup, but I have never looked to see what they actually offer! Service is good. Your drink won't be empty for long. My favorite thing is the desert area. They have so many different pies! I'm a pie guy, over cakes. Their lemon merengue and pecan pie are exceptional. If they have cookies, I will grab one. There is a chocolate fountain, but I would never. They are now open more days. Prices aren't too bad for what you get. read more

She was already standing there so what was the problem with her seating me she made it seem like she was too good to do her job. I then got sat by a hostess I didn't catch her name i apologize but after that i sat down with my wife to have my meal even after experiencing that disrespect from her. Came here for the first time post-COVID this past Sunday for champagne brunch and still amazing. Despite the fact that this is one of the last few remaining casino buffets in the area (Morongo, Agua Caliente/Spa Resort, and Spotlight 29 have all either closed their buffets permanently or still have no plans to reopen), it still remains one of the best. They are only open Friday-Sunday for now but I'm sure that will change after the labor shortage is in better shape. All the favorites are still here: menudo, eggs benedict, bacon, sausage, mexican, italian, salads, NY steak, mashed potatoes and gravy. At least this place did their best to keep everything the way it was before COVID. I noticed they got some new chairs in the dining area, which look really nice. The waiting was quick, courteous and worked hard! Note: Didn't ask how well you wanted your steak, but placed two big slices on your plate instead...
