Yes! Great place to cater kimbap. Order 48 hours ahead of time (menu is online) and your order is good to go! Easy service and the food was delicious

Their tuna or spicy tuna kimbap is my favorite. It's inside Zion Market, and you can see them rolling all the kimbap--fresh. The prices are decent, and they offer a variety: beef, oden (fish cake), Spam musubis, etc. If you buy more rolls, you can get a discount. Service is quick and easy. There are tables in the little food court, but I usually take my rolls to go. They hit the spot and remind me of home.

We ordered for lunch using Uber Eats thinking it was scheduled at noon. We were pleasantly surprised that it arrived by 10am. This place opens early! Nice. We ordered spicy tuna kimbap, beef kimbap and yubu rice. Everything is very tasty. This place also takes your instructions seriously. We requested no sesame seeds. They actually removed the sesame seeds from the yubu rice and put them in separate container, plus sending us a message to let us know what they did. We will definitely be ordering from them again.

Good portion, reasonably priced, tastes great and fresh but not the best Kimbap I've had. Not much else to say! It's just a great spot to grab something that's easy to eat!

Ordered delivery and the kimbap came exactly as pictured! Rolls were fresh and delicious! The Staff members did not put any sesame seeds on top of our rolls and even separated the Yubu for us in case of allergy because I had requested "no sesame". Would definitely order again!!

This is a great place for kimbap to-go or after shopping at Zion Market! The staff is very friendly and there are plenty of options. I ordered the BBQ Beef kimbap. The ingredients were very fresh, the roll was flavorful, and there was a side of pickled radish. I can't wait to go back!

Fresh Roll not only offers the quick service type snacks of Korean sushi (kimbap) but they also have inari (sweet tofu skin rice balls) and spam musubi (Hawaiian-style rice ball). I often pickup a package of the beef kimbap or the spicy tuna kimbap before starting my grocery shopping. I recently ordered their catering box that includes a combination of beef & fishcake rolls for $45/box (includes 10 rolls that feeds 5-10 people). I quite liked the ordering experience. You go to their website https://www.freshrollhouse.com and place your order. Orders can be ready next day but you can easily specify the date/time you need. Pickup was a breeze. Just confirmed order name and it was ready to take home!

    Tuna Salad Kimbap!

One of my favorite places for Kimbap "Hidden" right next the entrance/exit of Zion Market. Kimbap is essentially Korean Seaweed Rice rolls with fillings like beef, fishcake, tuna salad, vegetables, & yellow pickled radish. Overall pretty healthy & most rolls go for $6-$9, depending how which meats/combos & how big you'd like to order. Favorites: I personally either get the fishcake & spicy tuna combinations, as sometimes beef is a bit drier in comparison. They are a Cash Only/Preferred type of place, so definitely bring some if possible. Great Packaging & awesome for a quick pickup for a bite if things are quite busy with life/work.

Love getting kimbap here!! Very fresh and I like the ratio of rice to filling! Not too much rice like other places do. These rolls are definitely better than the pre-made ones they sell at the corner of Zion Market. Definitely more bang for your buck to order from The Fresh Roll House compared to Zion's.

They're located inside Zion Market. It's a great place to stop by to grab a quick snack or lunch. The lady working in the front is super friendly. Rolls: +Beef Kimbap- Flavorful beef with egg and lots of veggies! One of my favorite kimbaps that I've had. +Spicy Tuna Kimbap- Minced spicy tuna, lettuce, carrots and pickled radish. This kimbap wasn't as spicy but did have a nice kick to it. It's more of a mild spice! This will definitely be one of my grab and go snacks whenever I need something to eat before work.

You can tell this place has a strong base of regulars too, I saw a mix of friend groups and families casually walking in like it's their go-to spot. We ordered the cold noodles combo with jokbal (pork hock) for $30.95. Portion wise, it's SOLID for two people. The cold noodles were refreshing and really hit the spot, especially if you like that clean, slightly tangy flavor. The jokbal was very decent. Not bad, but if you've had it in Korea, you'll notice it doesn't quite hit the same level still totally "usable," just not standout. Value, this is where they win. We got full off just one combo, which is rare these days. Plus, all the usual Korean side dishes are complimentary, and they also served a warm bone broth at no extra cost. I've honestly never had that offered like this before, and it made the whole meal feel extra comforting and homey. Small detail, but I also appreciated that the table was already fully set up with bowls, utensils, and water which makes everything efficient. Overall, really solid experience. It actually gave me a bit of that Seoul nostalgia, which is hard to replicate. Definitely coming back to try more dishes.

(Pretty sure it's just the owner) who was very friendly, but the other staff had a huge attitude, the girl who dropped off our side dishes dug her hands into the dishes to grab two at a time which was super unsanitary. She threw the last side dish on our table while she was walking away too. I wanted to be optimistic about the food even though the staff gave a terrible first impression. We ordered two soups. They were both super bland. My partner and I kept debating whether or not to ask for more salt because of the lack of seasoning in both of our meals. Even the side dishes were lacking flavor and looked like they were sitting out for a long time. The only good thing I have to say about this place is the kind lady (probably owner) of the restaurant. Everything else was a huge let down. I wanted to like the food here because there's a lot of good Korean restaurants in Irvine, and this could've been one of them but sadly it's not worth coming back.

Best decision of my late night misadventures in a long time! It was very filling (you could probably order one item and split it or have plenty of food for leftovers the next day), it's not inexpensive but it's great value (but then again $20 for a meal out is kind of going rate standard so maybe it is inexpensive or comparable to most anything else you could choose?), and it's great quality. The soup is a combo meal that comes with rice, glass noodles, fish cakes in sauce, and kimchi. You can also modify the spice level to make it more mild or spicy depending on your preference. I don't know why I am so obsessed with the soup but I'm going to think about it for a while because I was 100% lost in the sauce while eating it - after you get halfway you can put the rice, part of the kimchi, and (maybe) the fish cakes in the soup so it gets closer to porridge and break up some of the blood sausage to mix it throughout. Service is friendly and can recommend different things to eat. I got my order as takeout but the dining atmosphere is really good for how close each table is to one another. Everyone still has enough space to be on their own but because you're closer together it kind of feels communal.

And I could already tell from the moment I entered. Although the establishment looks modern, it has a traditional feel, with wooden tables, flat chopsticks, and the friendly but bustling Korean auntie waitresses who eagerly refilled the banchan at our table. The soondobu came out pipping high and I had to wait a little so I didn't burn my mouth. But with the first bites, I experienced a warm, comforting flavor with its deeply rich broth and silken tofu. Pair this meal with the marinated fish cake, fried fish, and japchae noodles and you have absolute perfection.
