The roll temperature is inside out very cold, I was expecting in room temperature or slightly cooled(because of vegetables in the roll) It feels like they came out of refrigerator and displayed on the counter that looks like freshly made. This is a grab and go place my family and I have been going to for years. I stopped by today after work and grabbed a beef roll and was looking at the other flavor options... I picked up one of the fish rolls and thought there were a different options available but some rolls were just made with alot less fish. The Fresh Roll House is located in Zion market, to the left of the entrances. These rolls they sell are called Kimbap. They LOOK like sushi, but they are completely different. They don't taste the same and they have entirely different ingredients. There's a main item with radish, eggs, spinach, carrots and other variations... and then all rolled up in the rice covered seaweed paper. That radish really gives it a nice bite! The Fresh Roll House has Fishcake Rolls ($2.50/roll or $5/pack - which is two rolls), Tuna Rolls ($3.50/roll), Spicy Tuna Rolls ($3.50/roll) and BBQ Beef Rolls($2.50/roll or $5/pack - which is two rolls). If you want to be extra healthy, you have the option of upgrading to brown rice on any of these rolls for an addition $0.50. They also offer a catering option where it is $30 for a small tray, $40 for a medium tray and $60 for a large tray. These are absolute fresh and delicious!! Located inside Zion market, I usually grab a box of kimbap for an on-the-go lunch. The rolls are fairly large and more than enough for me. I've tried the beef, tuna and spicy tuna. Beef and tuna are not spicy, but the spicy tuna surprised me with an unexpected kick. Anyway, they stuff the rolls with perilla leaves (which is amazing!), pickled radish, carrots, rolled egg and other vegetables packed neatly in dried seaweed. There are no tables in the area to sit on, so one has to stand and consume the food. *eat while shopping* Luckily, that makes the procedure pretty easy, since they have ready-made stuff one can just pick up and pay for. Well like everything it's now more expensive, the rolls are smaller, theres more rice and barely any filling, and they somehow messed up the rice which I didn't think was possible. I got the tuna Kimbap (~$3.50) and the beef kimpab (~$4.50). Both were very good. It comes with pickled veggies which goes so well with it.
