My boyfriend and I decided to travel the Natchez Trace Parkway for the day. We were hangry by the time 6pm hit and were desperate to find some good grub. Not being in a familiar area we were skeptical at trying a new place, BUT BOYYYYYY can I tell you, this restaurant is where it's at! Yansey gave us GREAT service, she's absolutely golden. Being very indecisive because of so many great options, Yansey never made us feel rushed. The wait was short (said it was going to be 10-15 mins but it was not), service was phenomenal, and the food was mouthwatering delicious. When Froghead opened it quickly became a twice a week lunch and go to date night place, until I moved away and came back in 2015. I LOVE this place! There hasn't been a dish that I didn't enjoy! Customer service is awesome! If you go as frequently as I do, they'll memorize your orders and name! Everything is always fresh. It does get busy during lunch hours so the wait will be longer. Definitely recommend the gumbo, chili, cheese sticks, buffalo chicken wrap, and sweet potato fries. Decided to visit due to good reviews. I ordered a hamburger with bacon,mushrooms,and Swiss cheese and an order of onion rings. I've had better burgers at Hardee's and much better onion rings at Sonic. Hamburger appeared to be from frozen, not fresh meat. Onion rings I suspect from frozen as well, not freshly cut or breaded. Good for fast food, but unfortunately not fast food prices. read more

We wanted something that was not a chain. If you don't like frogs, I don't recommend you going! Haha They don't have frog legs though. It's a "frog friendly" place! My family had: hamburger steak-it was ok (just a premade patty). Shrimp basket-the shrimp was really good. Chicken platter-the Chicken was good. We also had fried pickles-those were good...the sauce was different but good, fried cheese sticks-SO GOOD! Our sides were cheesy grits-AWESOME-just needed some butter (I took the pico off of them), seasoned fries-really good, onion rings-real good, and bread pudding-that made up for the HB steak just being a patty-lol. When I am craving sweet potato fries, then this is the only place that will do. They serve them with a Honey Bunny sauce that just takes them the extra mile. I love those fries! The sweet potato fries are the real highlight for me, but the other food is good too. I get the Bullfrog almost every visit, but no food has ever been bad. The one thing I wish they would change is their seating policy. It's seat yourself at lunch and wait to be seated at dinner. I wish they would just pick one and stick with it. read more

The food was good but the main reason I'm writing this review is because of the weird situation with seating. They take your order and have you pay without checking to see if there is adequate seating. It's odd and uncomfortable. They need to figure that out quickly. I visited the Biloxi area for a birthday weekend getaway. I wanted to eat somewhere local and somewhere I couldn't get back home in GA. The Froghead Grill was exactly what I needed for local and fresh seafood. Food was amazing and very delicious. I wish I had more time to try more items on the menu. It is a quiet and quaint restaurant located miles from the heart of Biloxi and the casinos but it not something you want to pass by when in MS. Service was excellent. The staff was consistently nearby and the manager was out on the floor as well. I have no complaints. I hope to return soon. read more

Being at a college near by I heard lots of great talk about this place so eventually I took my girlfriend to eat here. After being sat down a waitress came sat in the booth with us to take our order which was unconventional and strange but nonetheless we were there to enjoy a meal. After placing and order of mozzarella sticks we waited a few minutes to look over what we wanted as our entrée. The waitress then comes back and takes my order first which was unconventional as well usually starting with the lady. After taking my order she said and what would this lady want(addressing my girlfriend). I thought it was extremely rude addressing my girlfriend in that manner but we overlooked that as well. We waiting a few more minutes for our entree. My girlfriend ordered the chicken parmesan poboy which was edible but I wont make the mistake of ordering a voodoo burger because it was horrible. The taste was what you would think a bacon dog treat would taste like. On top of the burger being putrid the fries werent even warm and they were flimsy. The manager came out after I told the waitress I didnt like my burger and understood so she said she would send me out a wrap. A wrap never came but she sent me a sliver of a bread pudding im guessing. They took 20% off the bill which was nice, I did tell them I didnt mind paying for the food since I had ordered it. All in all this is somewhere we wont be returning anytime soon. On a good note the cups are plastic if you get soda which you can take home! read more

Very near and unique little place to stop in for lunch or dinner. I have had their po boy previously and really enjoyed it. This time I had the bully wrap which was grilled chicken chopped up, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and a special sauce I think it was called toad sauce. It was very good but by the end of the wrap I was stuffed. I ordered the queso and chips as my side and didn't care that at all. My boys had a grilled cheese with fries, the bread was tough & a little brown for their liking. The kids came with a frog sticker and they thought that was pretty cool. My teenage daughter had the chicken club wrap, which included fried chicken, bacon, provolone, ranch, lettuce, & tomato with a side of sweet potato fries that came with a brown sugar sauce (absolutely delicious according to her nonetheless she loves sweet potato fries). Really enjoyed and will definitely go back but will order a different side. Lots of best and different things to try on their menu. read more

THE FROGHEAD GRILL! One of my favorite places. I had The Hurricane for a change. My favorite sandwich was The Fredrick with crispy chicken. The Hurricane did not disappoint. Don't let the name freak you out this is the best restaurant in Clinton, MS and in the Jackson Metro area in my opinion. So great that spouse and I drive there from Ridgeland at least once a week to eat. I am professionally finicky so if I like some place it is consistently good and they don't mind if you take something off one of their sandwiches or salads! Finicky people run to this place, we've finally found someone to cater to us! Food is always good and service is beyond awesome. Counter order during the lunch hours and after five they do 'table order service'. All food delivered to your table at the correct temperature. Lunch specials are always good. I prefer the Thursday chicken spaghetti. If you call in early they will save you a portion to be picked up later in the day. Best fried dill pickles in the Jackson metro area. Best chicken salad in the Jackson metro area. Best Red Beans and rice in the Jackson metro area. Beer on tap or in bottle. I came here for dinner and had the shrimp platter, I don't get all the hype...it takes a lot for me to give a bad food review, but...I had the shrimp platter for $14.00. The shrimp was way too salty. It reminded me of eating salty McDonald fries...it was borderline gross; if I wasn't here on business and with a large group of co-workers I would have sent the plate back to the kitchen. I thought the shrimp was way too small for $14.00. It was about 10-12 shrimp, they were a little bit bigger than a quarter. Waitress was not very attentive. read more

Poor customer service. Guy cooking in the back with a 6 inch beard uncovered . Employees are taking out the garbage to the left of the bar and coming right back in and picking up food without washing their hands and delivering it to you. It took over 30 minutes to get a complete meal and they treat the customer like its all apart of the way they serve the food, spoke with the acting female manager and she only made matters worse, as acting if this was not happening told me to have sarcastically telling me that they serve the bread pudding after the meal after i waited another 10 minutes or longer. A large menu selection with daily specials. It's all really good food at great prices. My favorite is the burger in paradise or the steak wrap. Add some sweet potato fries and iced tea! At lunch it's order at the counter and they bring it to you. At dinner it's order at the table. Depending on how busy they are service can be a little slow but it's all freshly prepared, well worth any wait. They have tv's and free wi-fi. And desserts all incredible! read more
