    Fried salmon meal with coleslaw.
    Cheryl S.

A wonderful fish house with every thing cooked perfectly! This place is clean, excellent health dept. rating, friendly staff, and good sized-portions of fish. For $15, I had a 3-piece fish and chips with cod. Cooked perfectly! Cod has great oils in its meat and doesn't dry out, but the fish was beer-battered and flaking with ultimate tenderness! Fries were crispy. I ordered the house tartar sauce. Our table had shared a side of clams and chowder. Clams were tender and not over cooked at all. The chowder felt like a meal in every bite. It was thick and packed with all the tummies like callous, clams, etc. amazing were the prices for what you get. Very reasonable. I am visiting the area and would LOVE to return every visit back Normandy Park. Very nice menu. Order at counter. Highly recommend!

The blackened salmon tacos are so amazing every time I get them. The apple mango salsa is actually so amazing! Food comes out pretty quick as well. I also recommend the clam chowder.

Lots of choices, I picked the blackened Halibut tacos (2) with flour tortillas. Super fresh, the pico del galleo was a really nice addition. The Chipotle- Ranch sauce, with heavy application was a little sweet for my taste. I tried the habanero tartar sauce which I thought was a better marriage. Eager to return. While it's fast casual, the service and reception was warm and friendly.

We ordered halibut and salmon tacos with a 32 ounce seafood chowder. Chowder was excellent, salmon was good and appeared fresh. Halibut was a bit of a dissappointment....would have expected better taste in Tacoma/ Seattle. On balance the experience was good.

About 2 miles from the Seattle airport in a nondescriptive strip mall, you can find perfectly fried cod and fish and chips served with cold local beer. The staff is lovely and helpful. the food came quickly. Free parking in the lot in front of the restaurant.

Burien fish house is a gem tucked away in Burien (10 mins from Southcenter). You get what you pay for and here it's good and plentiful! My husband and I stopped here after a barber cut and we k ew exactly what we wanted: fish tacos and chowder. We split a 2 piece grilled cod.... Why???? Because they are huge, double stuffed and full of fish. The toppings are fresh and are just that: toppings (not 2/3-34 of the taco)! We paired it with 2 cups of seafood chowder. The chowder is super thick, spoon standing straight up thick. Truth be told, after finishing the taco, I had to take the chowder home to eat it. My husband finished both at the restaurant, he loved the chowder. The ambiance is casual and BURIEN cool.

Restaurant is clean and the employees are always friendly! I go here often for the fish tacos - Cod, beer battered, flour tortilla. My parents get tacos or the fish and chips, we enjoy it all! I don't really go anywhere else for fish tacos because they use this delicious chipotle type sauce. Highly recommend!

We love the fish house! It's very clean, and the staff are always friendly. The tacos are a true star and we always make sure to at least place an order to share. Their sauces are also not to be skipped, their chipotle ranch and tarter are amazing. It's our favorite fish/taco spot and we take all of our friends from out of town here.

Ordered for pickup on Door Dash and the employees were very friendly with the pick up and made sure to call my name once it was ready. It was pretty packed for a Friday night and for my first time there, I was already looking forward to the eat the food at home with how many people were ordering for both dine in and take out. They have a lot of seating. It was nice knowing that you can bring a big party here and they'd have the room for it. Be aware that the main lot may get pretty packed due to the multiple restaurants in the same plaza but there's plenty of street parking! After delivering part of my order and then going home, it was a little under an hour before I finally a got to eat my Captain's Platter so it wasn't the most crispy but definitely still delicious. Haven't had beer battered fish in so long and I will say that this one will be memorable as the different fish were cooked perfectly under the coating. The Habanero Tartar sauce was good but I was expecting it to be a bit spicier; it was still flavorful though and had that a small kick.

Food was ok. Haven't been here in years, service was fine. Ordered the cod fish and chips with sweet potato fries. One piece of my two piece order was inedible. The jalapeno tartar sauce was good. Tried the blackened fish and that was tasty.

Lobster Roll, Clam Chowder, and Cod, Shrimp, & Clam strips combo - EXCELLENT! @Burien Fish House

Just 9-mins away from Seattle-Tacoma Intl Airport (SEA)! I flew in from Vegas and was feeling hangry after the long wait times at baggage claim and the rental car facility. Instead of driving into Seattle Downtown to eat, we detoured to the small town of Burien and found this gem: Burien Fish House. We had the Lobster Roll, Cod/Fried Shrimp & Clams Combo, Coleslaw, and Clam Chowder. Hit the spot! Pleasantly surprised with everything we ordered and would definitely return, even when not hangry! The bun for the Lobster Roll was so soft and fluffy. The lobster meat was prepared chilled with diced celery & red bell peppers. The highlight for me was actually the Coleslaw, possibly made of a yogurt dressing instead of mayo, with a touch of green raisins. The Clam Chowder was hearty and more on the creamy side. For the deep fried Cod, Shrimp, and Clams, we chose panko style and it was excellent. Service was great! Order your food at the window, then find a table in the spacious dining area. The kitchen staff will deliver your meal to your table with a smile. Plenty of parking directly in front. There are other eateries in the small center, so I imagine it could get congested.

Chowder. Yum. I forgot to take a shot *prior* to enjoying. :D

We came in pretty late too and he still let all of us sit and eat. The foods were 10/10. Portions were also 10/10. Service? It was beyond what we expected. He even gave us homemade juices and it was amazing! The kumquats ones. We even brought some back to the hotel. The claw machine and the cotton candy machine was a nice touch! My son and daughter LOVES it and the owner was still chatting with us. The prices were much cheaper than what we'd get in Portland. (Where we're from) overall, this definitely will be our stable spots once we're in Seattle again. 10/10.

My biggest issue, is how well the seafood is cleaned. During my last visit, I noticed that non of the shrimp was cleaned. That grossed me out. If I went again, would avoid getting that. I recently had the catfish poboy. It was just okay. It looked better than it tasted. I can't put my finger on why it wasn't that great, but it was just very "meh". The fries were really good though. Services is okay. They always seem to struggle with service, regardless of how busy the place is. But they are nice. Ambience is what you'd expect at a place like this. Nothing spectacular, but not dirty. I would love if they had a better ventilation system. The friend smells and spices are extremely strong! Overall, a solid restaurant, but if you're looking for a place with high quality seafood, may want to find another spot.

The dining area and bar was packed but found some spots and hob-nobbed with locals at the bar. Got a drink, oysters for wife and some shooters. The oysters in the shooter were as pictured, plump, tasty with some cocktail sauce - loved them. Was thinking of another round when found wife wasn't so happy with the sad dozen micro-oysters she was serviced. Somehow, I realized the second level resturant was serving better oysters similiar to what was being used in the oyster shooter and we relocated to top level of the resturant. What a difference, different menu, was a fine dining experience - just what we needed so stepped up to the next level. Another dozen oysters, a few more oyster shooters, another round of cocktails, watched the beautiful sunset, fantastic service from the staff, we were totally relaxed and amazingly happy. Definitely will be back and promised my wife 2-3 dozen oysters the next time.

The restaurant has beautiful views of the water and the marina. Service wasn't particularly warm, but efficient. We wanted to take advantage of the rhubarb seasonal desserts, so appreciated the suggestion to take home the desserts from the price fixe menu. We didn't care for the rhubarb cocktails (much too sweet) but they were taken away without any comment and removed from the final bill. My parents love the chowder, and enjoyed it. I didn't care for the consistency. The shrimp cocktail was a fun retro flavor. Crispy celery, creamy sauce, and the shrimp was cooked well. We all ordered the sole almondine and substituted roasted potatoes for the rice. The potatoes were good, as was the accompanying asparagus. The fish was breaded, and topped with ground almonds which were warmed in butter. The bottom piece of fish was unfortunately soggy, and I prefer an almondine sauce when it's made with sliced almonds. It was a little flat tasting. But overall, the dish was good. The desserts were average. The sugar crust on my father's creme brûlée was too thick and flamed a little too hard. The slump was tasty, but the ratio of filling ro cake was unbalanced (too much cake). The cheesecake was a good texture and the rhubarb sauce was nicely tangy. Overall, a mice evening and worth $35 for a 3-course meal.
