I placed an order yesterday. After an hour and a half, I called to check on the status. The lady who answered the phone said, oh, here is your order. We will get started on it right away. We have a new tablet and it has a lot of issues. I said, you mean you have not even started our order? She said We have this new tablet and, yeah, it has a lot of issues. Sorry but what you ordered doesn't take long so we will get it right out to you. I said, that is it, just sorry and now I have to wait another hour for our food? She asked what I wanted her to do? I said it is up to you to decide how to make it right for your customer. She said You don't have to take your aggression out on me. Seriously? This place, or at least this person I worked with on this completely lacks professionalism and the know how to take care of customers. I have ordered from here MANY times. I love their food but this was over the top pathetic. Someone needs some serious training/coaching on how to interact with people. read more

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!!! We just ordered from this restaurant (August 5). We ordered one extra large pizza and garlic knots. It was a Saturday night, so we expected a long time for delivery. We were told it would take about an hour. After about an hour and fifteen minutes we received a voicemail (missed the called by one minute) that they couldn't find our apartment complex. I understand this can be an issue, and we were ready to help guide them. We called back immediately to help guide the driver to our apartment. It took another 15 minutes or so for the diver to return. Apparently there had been an accident with a driver and there was a fill-in driver to deliver our food. When they finally reached us, we were handed our pizza but not our garlic knots (apparently the accident destroyed the knots but not the pizza, I don't quite understand how that works). Regardless, we understand that stuff happens. The delivery driver informed us of the issue and told us that we would be given a discount on the order that we received for the delay. The original price was roughly $31 for the pizza and garlic knots. The pizza itself was about $22, so even a small discount would have lead to a $20 charge. We paid with $40 cash outside, in the dark, and told the driver to charge us what was fair after the discount (again, knowing we didn't even get our full order). When we were walking away with our pizza, and not our garlic knots, we noticed that we only had $9 in change. We were charged full price for our order despite not receiving what we paid for. I called the restaurant to bring up the issue and was offered a 15% discount on my next order. I explained (calmly) that this was not very fair as we were essentially robbed of money, having paid for an order that we did not receive. I was promptly hung up on. That is not a typo, I was just hung up on for bringing up an issue with the service. I immediately called back, and this time I was (admittedly) not calm during this call. It was not an accident that I was hung up on. I spoke to a different person who didn't apologize for being hung up on. We were offered free pizza for our next order, but honestly, this kind of service can not be overcome with any amount of "make up" offerings. I truly hope any customer will look elsewhere before ordering from this restaurant. read more

Greek salad is mainly iceberg & feta. Wanted a Stromboli but you can't modify it... At all. That says to me they are prepped ahead of time, not fresh. The garlic knots were ok. A little bigger & a lot less garlicy than what we're used to but they were still good. The slice of cheese pizza was huge & to be expected from a place claiming NY style pizza. After lving in Colorado for two years, the Garlic Knot has become my fav pizza joint every week. The pizza and service is absolutely amazing and the prices are great! Don't bother ordering within an hour of closing time. We ordered at 8 pm over the phone tonight, we show up at 8:20 pm for our pizza. The kitchen crew is bagging trash and cleaning up (clearly no longer cooking), the front counter crew is reconciling receipts and they claim they never took our order. I'm literally standing in front of the guy who took my phone order 20 minutes ago, I know his voice. He just shrugged his shoulders. Never going back, there are plenty of other pizza places to order from in the area. read more

I am so happy this place moved into my neighborhood! I am from the East Coast and it is sometimes hard to get good NY pizza out here. I was very impressed the first time we ordered pizza and have ordered it several times since then. It is also in walking distance from our house so my boyfriend and I like to go on a nice long walk on a Sunday and end up here for some beers, pizza, salad, and football! The staff is great as well. Sitting here at the Garlic Knot and had a great lunch. I had the slice, knots, and drink special. I am stuffed and didn't even finish it, Lol. Know always have the perfect amount of garlic. This review might be wildly different if a few things had happened: 1. My order could have been correct. Unfortunately it was missing the requested dressings, cutlery and napkins. Since moving here from NYC last year Ive struggled to find pizza as good as there. Like other reviews say this is pretty close to the real deal, maybe not exactly like New York City Proper or the metro area but definitely in the state. Wanted to place an order for deliver for my entire work staff. After waiting on hold for 10 minutes the order taker came on and asked for my delivery info. I explained where my business was and received this response...."Don't hate me but we don't deliver there." This threw me off as there are multiple locations for my business, it couldn't be true because we are exactly 1.6 miles away according to google maps. Order taker confirmed that they don't deliver to our address. We have ordered from there in the past, I guess they no longer want my companies business. Business must be good to turn down a ~$90 delivery order on a Thursday lunch shift. read more

Like other reviews , the customer service is awful. The delivery person was very nice but the person on the phone needs more customer service training. The pizza was fine but so salty that it was almost inedible. If you order salad make sure to have dressing on the side or it will be soggy and inedible once delivered. I heard about this place because they mailed us a menu with coupons. We figured, "what the hey?" and just drove on over. I'm SOOOOO glad we did! I'm from the east coast and spent a lot of my childhood eating pizza in Brooklyn. I ordered the "make your own" calzone with chicken, black olives, and garlic. It nearly brought tears to my eyes - of happy childhood memories! The chicken isn't over-cooked grilled crap, it's breaded, seasoned deliciousness! And oh my, the ricotta in the cheese blend is PERFECT! I am in love with this place, I really am, and I love the prices even more! This is a mid-scale pizza restaurant - which means that it is delicious and not super pricy. I love to cook and to eat so I am a little picky but the food was great. When this opened in my neighborhood I admit that I did not know that it was a franchise restaurant, it just has a good neighborhood feel to it. The staff is really cheery and not overly attentive but they are there when you need something. I went with two friends the first time to dine in and we had the garlic knots which were indulgent a salad and a large lavish pizza. I am sure that I went over my calorie count but it was a treat and we all enjoyed it a lot. Split three ways it was affordable enough. Nobody had room for ice cream but I have tried it on a follow up visit. It was pedestrian self serve soft serve ice cream. I am not sure if there is anything to compare to in our neighborhood. I can't think of one single thing wrong with this place. Wish it was super cheap so I could afford to eat here a lot. read more

Love the knots. On weekends there isn't enough brain power to tie a pair of shoes. I'm actually surprised they were able to put their pants on. Only reason I say this is because they didn't have one pizza crust style and could not recommend an alternative because they didn't really know the menu that well. Not willing to ask anybody. We order from Garlic Knot every couple of weeks. Their food is delicious. We usually order an XL Wall St, which is just Pepperoni, Sausage & Extra Cheese. Delivery usually takes about 40 minutes depending on the night. Looking forward to ordering next week. :) read more

Ordered twice but did not receive all our food either time. The first time they left out a Side of Knots, this time they forgot the main course. Ordered Pasts and asked for extra sauce, extra sauce is $4! (Explanation in an edit below). While that's bad enough, I didn't even get the Pasta. Food last time was pretty good for the cost and being delivery. Just on food alone I would of gave it a 3 Stars, but they lost a star for Missing food. Edit; As I was typing this the food was delivered, you will never believe this....No $4 extra sauce! Edit 2; The Gluten Free Pasta is hands down the best GF Pasta my son has ever had. He wishes there was more sauce of course, but his reaction earned them another Star and another chance. Edit 3, Speaking with a store manager this has been straightened out a bit, they entered the GF Pasta as a GF Pizza ny mistake, that's why the price jumped from $8.99 to $13.99. I was not refunded this of course, but it does explain it a bit better. He also said that's why it was left behind, the pasta takes extra time and the driver grabbed the order and took off. To some of you, them not fixing the price might seem crazy, but I did not ask them too. I would rather pay the extra Money and know who I am dealing with in the future. First time trying the New York style pizza and pasta, we came for some casual pasta for lunch. Casual is defiantly a over statement, and our time there was like being on a roller coaster with the ups and downs. Starting off was a up, my friend said normally they have table side service but since it was lunch it happened to be counter to table, not a problem at all, just a reminder to anyone else. Menu seemed small, simple, full of flavour so we were excited to try some different items out. After ordering, we took a seat and began the ride that consisted of more downs then ups. Between the two of us we shared a Caesar salad, Sicilian pizza, garlic knots and we each got a parts dish, I got the chefs special penne [pink creamy sauce(wtf), chicken, mushrooms, jalapeños]. She got the ravioli's. The best part of this enormous meal was the salad, a simple straight forward Caesar. The garlic knots were undercooked (it's the restaurants name come on). The pizza was sloppily prepped and put together and tasted like it. My pasta had decent flavour if it wasn't drowned in that pink creamy sauce. Her ravioli's were clearly from a frozen bag, drowned in canned sauce, under a comforter of cheese. The most interesting part was two of ravioli's were cut in half to check for doneness and all the filling came out. Another turn off was as the waitress came over to check on us she left a dirty towel on the table two feet from our food. I don't know if we caught them on a off day but I hope all these issues can get tightened up, still debating a second try. read more

4 out of the last 4 times Ive ordered there....Ive yet to recieve what I actually order. The food seems fine.....the gal that took my order last night; great as well. The cooks/manager need fired, they obviously could care less what they put on a sandwich or whats actually on an order form....Its rediculousness at this location.....unbelievably lousy. And another thing....when a customer calls to let you know.....the night manager probably shouldnt be a rude smartr a-- about it, acting like your trying to somehow scam them. Holy cow! This is he first time I have given a review. I'm definitely reading them from now on. I would have saved us the grief of this fiasco if I would have read other's reviews. The only reason I gave them one star is because the manager was so nice. Hopefully she won't make me a liar about that...She said she was crediting back my card. I will check my statement tomorrow. We made an order for pickup online, my husband went to pick it up. First off the cashier tried to tell him we did not pay, when in fact, I paid by credit card. He had to call me to confirm that. He said that if he had not seen the cooks wrap our calzones he would have left because the pizza they pulled from the oven before our food they were picking off toppings and eating them from it. Then watched them box it and put it on the counter for take out. He tried telling the girl at the counter and she was to busy to care. GROSS!!! Our calzones were horrible. One was to have meatballs, sausage,pepper, mozzarella, ricotta,and parmesan cheese. It only had peppers and mozzarella wrapped in soggy dough. The second calzone wasn't much different other than they put a couple mushrooms in it. Needless to say, we contacted the manager and she was very apologetic and mortified. My family and I have been huge fans of this restaurant since it opened and have visited many times! With that said, our most recent visit to this establishment was just not on par with what we have come to expect from the staff! We asked to have our table wiped down by the young lady at the front desk, she refused and made an excuse. It would have taken only a moment or two to wipe the table. As we looked around, we noticed that other tables had not been attended to either. Dirty plates, cups, etc. and it remained this way for our entire visit. At this point, the "radar" is on! The restaurant had dirty floors and windows. There was dried food/drink on walls and seats. The beverage dispenser had clearly not been wiped down in some time. The Iced Tea dispenser was not working. The counter next to the Iced Tea was sticky and cluttered with litter. The front counter area was FILTHY!!! There were black cob webs dangling down from the bottom of the front counter/cashier area and the floor in that area was disgusting. Pizza boxes used for delivery ... of food ... are stored on the floor leaning against a wall. My wife tells me that the ladies room needed attention and I can only imagine what the men's room looked/smelled like. The rude young lady at the counter seemed more interested in texting on her cell phone than doing her job! It was a LOOOOONG protracted conversation folks! The shelving unit just to the right of the door that leads into the kitchen had CLEARLY not been wiped down in some time. We had to continually bat fly's away from our food which was terribly annoying and concerning! Are there fly's in the kitchen? Now, if there were this many issues in the dining/cashier area, one can only imagine what problems are hidden in that kitchen!!! If the staff are too lazy and/or distracted to clean the dining room/cashier area, what are they not cleaning in the kitchen??? If you have employees that hate their job, either train them better and monitor them frequently ... or ... get new employees!!! A note to the owners of this restaurant ... there is absolutely no reason for this type of behavior by your staff! If you do not address these deficiencies immediately, I will contact the Colorado Department of Health and Environment with a complaint about your location in Westminster. I really wanted to go and surprise my friend with the Italian place that use to be in the spot of the Garlic Knot, however it was no longer there. However I wasn't going to run away and say no thanks. So my friend and I tried this place, we decided to order off the kids menu as we weren't that hungry, there pretty good, both of us got baked cheese ravioli and the meatballs and the size portions were "wow" for a kid portion I was surprised at home much cheese ravioli was given was a huge portion. I was kinda impressed with the meatballs, a little more seasonings would be nice, but they were decent. The staff was friendly and the place filled up quick. The management told me they deliver when I told them that I was going to yelp them. It would be nice if they did more advertising themselves like putting themselves here and putting themselves out there like using Grubhub.com instead of just excepting there customer to do it, as that is the feeling I got from the manager or owner. However beside that point, good food and decent prices, if I crave Italian that is close and don't want a regular chain food Italian I will stop by here. read more

I have eaten at the Garlic Knot on south Wadsworth and thought the calzones where delicious. Went to try this one and it does not have it together!!! Ordered calzones, a salad, small pizza, and some appetizers. It took 35 minutes to get our garlic bread. At the 45 minute mark the waiter came out to verify our order, huge red flag. The stoner cooks in the kitchen where yelling something about "smoking that bowl"! One of them must of hand quite the cotton mouth he came out to refill his soda twice. Then I seen another stroll out of the back to use the restroom hair a mess not tied back or covered looked like he just rolled out of bed. At the 1 hour and 30min mark I start to talk to the family about just eating somewhere else. I look down and shoved in a hole on the booth we are sitting next too is a huge piece steel wool, I assume it's to prevent the mouse who chewed through there from returning. At this I believe it's time to go; 1 hour and 40 minutes later. I get up go to the register and ask for the bill for what we have had. I look into the kitchen and there's four young guys (all of which look as unkept as the first) playing around in the back with the door wide open. No wonder they have a problem with vermin. The waiter says his apologize tells me don't worry about the bill and we leave. Would of loved to of loved this place, foods good at the other one, prices are fair, and we are close enough to get delivery. Unfortunately I will never go back to this one I definitely get that vibe this place is ran like the restaurant in that movie "Waiting". I only wish I would had taken some pictures. read more

Pizza was good but I was really disappointed when I got home and the pizza wasn't even cut. Just ridiculous. How hard is it to cut it before giving it to the customer. First off, the garlic knots were not very special; not much flavor, nothing more than regular bread. Pizza had good flavors, but was nothing more than Caesars; kind of like cardboard. Lastly, the wings; they were chewy and also nothing much special and they forgot blue cheese. Folks, did I miss something here? Should I have ordered something else?
