The staff here is amazing. They are supportive and helpful when needing services in the apartment or with packages that are stated "delivered". Just recently did a unit transfer which went smoothly and fast. They were helpful along the way and answered all my questions when I would call. Gracy, Kallen, Jiovanna are the three girls I can count on to help me out with my service tickets, general questions, and pretty much everything in between! Both apartments that I have gotten here have been super clean and well maintained. This is definitely a spot to be at to be living. Family friendly, pet friendly, and has amazing amenities. I'll just copy and paste what I sent the manager who never responded to me after asking if I had any feedback. They also take your entire deposit for cleaning so don't bother cleaning up before you leave like I did. Noise Disturbances: For example, just now at 2:50 a.m., 12/01/25, there is an apartment where loud music is being played (even sounds like a DJ is there) accompanied by excessive noise from laughter and conversation. While I consider myself patient and reasonable, this has been a recurring issue. I've found that some residents are consistently rude, inconsiderate, and seem to feel entitled to disregard others' peace and quiet in the later hours of the night. Lack of Cleanliness: On multiple occasions, I have noticed trash bags and even dog waste left in the stairways, hallways, and elevators. Given the rent I pay, I believe it's reasonable to expect a higher standard of cleanliness and upkeep in shared spaces. Wi-Fi Issues: The Wi-Fi in this unit has been consistently poor, with little to no signal in my bedroom, affecting both my cell phone and TV service. While one of the leasing agents had mentioned the WiFi being bad in passing when I first moved in I believe this should be formally disclosed to potential tenants. It's a significant inconvenience and one that should be addressed. Overall Community Culture: At first, I was excited about the vibrant atmosphere, but over time, I've come to realize that the party culture here, while it can be appealing, is not conducive to a peaceful living environment. The frequent loud parties and disruptive behavior have made it difficult to enjoy a quiet and restful living space. The residents also drive recklessly in the parking structure, leave trash wherever they want, and are sometimes unwelcoming and cause an uncomfortable space on the rooftop the few times I decided to use it with some friends. read more

Property update...rooftop Jumbotron still hasn't been fixed so NO sports on the rooftop. A couple weeks ago there was a homeless man in the stairwell having an inappropriate moment by himself. There's no security on property during that time so a couple of the residents had to escort him out. It's unfortunate that the residents have to play security on the property. The new manager filed a police report but again... things like this could be avoided with proper security. read more

Just wanted to hop on here and say that I absolutely love living here! From the moment I toured and leased with Kallen, I knew this community would be something special. The management and leasing staff go above and beyond to create an incredible experience for residents. The manager, My apologies I forgot her name, David, the assistant manager, and leasing agents Amanda and Selina are all amazing--friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. David even stayed after for me on my move in day to ensure I was able to pick up my keys in time driving all the way over from Arizona. So grateful for such good people! The maintenance team deserves a huge shoutout, too--they're quick, thorough, and truly care about keeping everything running smoothly. The amenities are insane (seriously, top-notch), and the team does an excellent job maintaining them. One of my favorite perks? The Ethiopian cold brew on tap in the office! I find myself stopping by nearly every day, and I'm always greeted warmly by the team. The location couldn't be more convenient, and with such a fantastic community atmosphere, I couldn't ask for more. Its refreshing to live here. No place is perfect, but what the George offers, and the level of help they give you, is almost perfect. An an example, I just want to tell you about a high quality employee at the George. Her name is Jiovanna Villanueva. I had a problem recently and she was a wonderful communicator and helpful above and beyond, while still maintaining a professional demeanor. When someone follows through with you on an issue, and actually cares, it stands out. I just moved into the George about a month ago with my girlfriend and it has been an amazing experience. The management team and staff are incredible and go above and beyond in creating a friendly residential experience. Jiovanna and Susie have been phenomenal in welcoming us and making sure we are well taken care of.Any random building issues are taken care of very quickly and very few even happen. The apartments themselves are very new and you can tell they did not cut any corners when making them. There are thorough security measures to prevent anyone from getting in the building as every door and elevator only works with your resident fob, and there is also property security. This is definitely the best apartment building around this area! read more

I lived here and although I love all the tenants one thing I sincerely hate about this place is how they nickel and dime you for everything ! I was living in a 2 bed 2 bath for $3200 apparently for a 2 bedroom you only get one parking pass and for another one it's $100 more! (But the security rarely ever tows so you technically could park in resident parking & no one would care- so a great waste of $100) the parking lot gets filled with randoms during angel games. & since Laura left management doesn't really do anything. They don't pick up the phone, they don't answer maintenance requests. Laura was literally the last saving grace but I'm glad she went on to other things. & now they're trying to charge us $1/ day for our Luxor packages if it's been left for more than 2 days. Anyway they can make extra $ they will. The rooftop is great and all and the only reason I moved here was for the rooftop& the beer garden but honestly the beer garden is super expensive. Also for a building where there's probably 500+ tenants they only have one boiler ! So on weekends I can't even take a hot shower ! That's absurd considering the hefty rent I pay !!! This place looks great but honestly it's all rose colored sunglasses. Also Jessica Johnson helped me sign up for the apartment & she was superrr nice to me during the sign up phase but when I told her I had anxiety because of all the loud noises and people passing by the apartment on the first floor she didn't do anything to help me, mind you if you live on the first floor it is definitely better for you to come view the apartments during peak sunlight hours so you can see if you get any sun if any at all- we lived on the first floor and were so depressed because imagine living in California and no sun hits your windows because you have a grey wall in front of you. Only Laura assisted me with switching units and she was super friendly and accommodating- whereas Jessica made me feel more like a nuisance for having anxiety. There was also a lot of random cases of police being around the block- a cop actually knocked on my door one night because of a noise complaint? I had just gotten home so it was not me and it was 4 am so it really freaked me out. I mistakenly left my car unlocked one night and someone broke in and stole all my cards. Someone was once robbed at gun point. I can tell that the neighborhood is slowly changing but there will still be a smidge of crime. Since then I've moved out because the rent increased 5% so my 3200 apartment was going to be 3500, I tried to negotiate they wouldn't allow it but then the next week I go online and see online that the unit next to mine which is also a 2b/2b was still renting for $3200... so they'd rather not keep their current residents happy but instead increase their rent while renting out similar units for less.. makes absolutely no sense. Anyways on to the move out : I did not put any holes into the walls or did any damage but upon moving out they charged me for literally everything !!! They took my deposit and tried to charge me an extra $4-500 for things that were not my fault. For example I went to the office on the date of my move out and Jessica was nowhere to be found to turn in my keys, I then called her and she told me to leave the keys in the unit and I'd be fine. I did exactly that and emailed her the next morning to make sure she got them- they still charged me for that day because apparently when I sent that email is when they count it as my move out date. Even though we had a verbal confirmation over the phone. On to the good: the people that live here are super nice & amazing people . Very generous and helpful !and the amenities are amazing with the gym overlooking the pool and the rooftop pool overlooking angel stadium. Overall great building, great amenities, but poor management company. read more

Her demeanor was great not trying to give just a sales pitch but explaining the ins and outs of their community, what makes them unique and their other sister properties. Current Resident Feedback - June 5, 2025 I've been a resident at The George for over five years, and while I've generally enjoyed living here, I've recently experienced a number of ongoing issues that I feel need to be addressed: * As of today, June 5th, there has been no hot water available since June 2nd. * The large TV screen, which is one of the key amenities and selling points of the property, has been broken for an extended period. * Vehicles with valid parking stickers are being mistakenly towed. * Package theft from the package room is a recurring problem. When reported to the leasing office, residents are simply advised to file a claim with the retailer--offering no proactive solution or improved security. * Car break-ins are becoming more frequent, and several sports cars have reportedly been stolen directly from the garage. * Residents are expected to pay out of pocket for water filter replacements in the refrigerators, which seems unreasonable given the cost of rent and amenities. I hope these concerns are taken seriously, as they are significantly affecting the quality of living and residents' sense of safety and satisfaction. read more

The apartment is fairly nice and has good amenities, but the parking and the people it attracts has just been terrible. The complex themselves painted outside parking red so hard for guests to come over. So annoying that they did that And they have yet to change it. I moved in a few months ago.... I love this apartment but let me tell you guys a few facts. Everything I am saying is factual and I have taken a picture of this message, so if Claire/Lyon living tries to take this down, I will follow up accordingly. I had a simple washer dryer issue, nothing complex, and they did not replace it until I as an attorney sent a letter with the valid applicable law. At that time I finally got it replaced, thank god. Mind you this was about 1-2 months later. AND recently we had SWAT come out to the apartment, it's been a few days, and the residents have not received an email about it or anything and it honestly scares me. I asked CLAIRE about the situation and she stated and I quote "you never know who your neighbors are". I still believe the tenants should get an email explaining the situation. Additionally, CLAIRE, Who works in the leasing office, asked a tenant if she would politely delete her ring camera that caught the footage of Swat. That to me is kind of crazy that the leasing manager, I think that's her title, asked a tenant to delete footage. Now everything I stated is a fact. Whoever is reading this do not delete my post. Additionally, they've also removed a lot of negative yelp reviews recently and that is another fact. Thus, with all my factual statements if this gets deleted, I will take it up with corporate. So first off, the good things - Kallin, Selina, David (in the office), and Andrea are all great people based off my interactions with them. I think they're doing the best they can with what Lyon Living (the company that owns the property) is giving them to work with. I had some serious issues with the prior manager here, but she's recently been replace and I look forward to seeing what the new manager does. Now for the bad - Lyon Living properties like The George heavily market the unique amenities present at their properties, which in The George's case it the rooftop pool area (the beer garden, the pool area, the movie theater screen, etc). Even in the relatively short period of time since I've been here, the amenities have fallen into noticeable decline which is not reflected in photos used on the website and in marketing. Reference Chloe's recent review for "updated" photos of what the amenities look like, but I'll give a brief rundown below. - The pool area: In marketing photos, you'll see several daybeds around the pool, as well as a pair of curtained off cabanas with their own televisions. The daybeds have been replaced with cheap looking folding loungers that not only don't match the older loungers that were already present - they don't even match each other. The TVs in the cabanas are no longer present, as well as the curtains, leaving nothing but a giant steel enclosure. - The movie theater screen has had a giant black dead pixel dead in the center for months now, right through the middle of sports season. - The rooftop gym - this is an amenity that I personally value, as unlike a lot of apartments, The George's actually has a considerable amount of strength training equipment similar to commercial gym. Most apartment gyms have more in common with a Holiday Inn. The problem is much of the equipment is in disrepair, with many plates having missing chunks. The sanitary wipe dispensers are often out, leading to people not having the means to clean their sweat off of equipment. This is directed at Lyon Living, not the people working at the property - as you can tell by recent reviews, a considerable amount of residents are growing dissatisfied with the declining quality of the "unique amenities" presented, which can only be blamed on the owner not wanting to actually pay to maintain what they sell to people looking to move in. It comes off as cheap and deceptive, with the higher than average rent charged and the continuous use of out of date photos used in marketing. I respectfully ask that the management please expedite bringing the amenities back to the advertised quality. A lot of residents I've spoken to are deeply disappointed with the perceived "cheapness" at play recently, and are looking at moving elsewhere. The price of admission is too high for people to disregard these issues, and it comes off as deceptive to present potential residents selling points that no longer exist as shown. read more

The George was a great place to live, the ambiance, environment, and staff made this location feel exclusive and luxury. If you are a fan of the angels or the ducks both are just a short walk away. Thoroughly enjoyed my time here, the rooftop amenity area including gym, pool, clubhouse, LARGE theater screen for the pool and the amazing view of the angels stadium makes this the best in the entire area! These apartments have really went down Loved it when we first moved in , then started have problems with poop and pee being everywhere in the hallway and nobody likes to clean up after them selves . They also like to tow cars here as much as they can . Parking lot is extremely unsafe , has brake ins into cars almost every night even with "security " waking around . My car got towed on Christmas Eve from the property i reside in (The George). My electric car was parked in a charging station. The rent a cop security (Jeff) that's been rejected from every police station he's applied to found it funny and decided to laugh when i questioned why my vehicle was towed. He walks around the property with an Empty gun, no bullets, because he is not allowed to carry a fire arm on the property. He tries to threaten u by placing his hand on this bogus gun when u get too close but no one is afraid of this broke wanna be cop. When you ask for his supervisor, he states that there is no one higher than him. From what i hear he's friends with the owner and feels as if nothing will happen. Too many residents have had negative encounters with this company and the George should terminate any type of contract they currently have with this unprofessional company. This company does nothing to provide any type of security to residents. In fact there's been 4 break ins this month!! But security does nothing about that. Instead they want to tow resident cars. I walked around just the first floor and found 5 vehicles parked without a sticker or a (citation). At this point i feel i am being targeted. This entire company is garbage!
