We were recommended to go try Joo Pocha - and heard that the vibes and food were great! Upon arriving around 10 PM, we were seated at an outdoor patio area! The outer patio is so cute and it is worth mentioning that it is a great photo opp! The patio is decorated with beautiful fairy lights and it feels like you're in a fairytale k drama! Because we just had Korean barbecue, we were looking for something small and light. We ordered the cereal fruit platter (which was absolutely delicious and refreshing) and a yogurt soju! I definitely want to come back to try the other foods when I am not so full, looking around many people ordered a lot of delicious smelling dishes, and I would love to come back to try! In regards to service, our servers were wonderful and always made sure that we were attended to!

They really need to be much clearer about how it works. When we arrived, they told us to park the car ourselves instead of having the valet do it. Naturally, we assumed that if we self-parked, there wouldn't be a valet fee since they never parked the car for us or explained otherwise. After we finished eating, there was a white car blocking us from leaving, so we politely asked if they could move it. Instead of simply helping us, the first thing they asked was whether we had paid for valet. We explained that we hadn't because we parked the car ourselves. Their immediate response was, "You don't have money to pay?" That comment was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Do we look like we can't afford to pay? The issue was never about the money--it was about the lack of communication and the disrespectful attitude. If the valet service has a fee even when customers self-park, that should be explained clearly from the beginning. This is not how you treat loyal customers. I've visited this restaurant many times, but after this experience, I don't think I'll be coming back.

Our private room had awesome projection screens, great sound, and a huge song selection (English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Thai, Arabic, etc.). We originally planned to grab a quick drink and leave, but the food was actually good so we stayed for dinner. It's part karaoke spot, part izakaya! The menu is loaded with sushi, sashimi, ramen, takoyaki, grilled pork jowl, baked mussels, clam soup, kimchi fried rice, and warabi mochi. We ordered cocktails and sang everything from Disney tracks and OG hip-hop to Chinese songs. **Happy Hour Deal:** Mon-Fri (6-8 PM) & Sat-Sun (3-7 PM): $30 per person for the entire HH window, which includes your private room rental PLUS up to $30 in food/drink credits! They're open until 2 AM (located on the top floor of the Vons parking lot, right next to Daiso). Even if you're not a karaoke fan, I'd still recommend coming. I spent the whole night singing terribly and had the absolute best time!

If I go with a group in one month, I definitely make time to go by myself within that same month and pay for 2 people to meet the minimum for the weekends. It's worth it. Can't decline the $30/person fee with that same amount of food/beverage credits per person. Yes, I generally go for 4 hours and spend my credits on $60 worth of booze. Service Charges and Taxes will be added to the final tab... and any amount that exceeds the $60 credit worth of food/drinks (of course). Skewers are delicious, fries and taters are crispy, and the booze make me happy. I'm very glad they still serve Jinro over Good Day / Soon Hari (they taste funky compared to Jinro). They also have a cool beer tower where there is a separate chamber filled with ice to keep the beer cold without diluting it (melted ice). Rooms, restroom, and equipment continue to be clean and awesome quality. I just realized there are no minimums M-Th so I might go by myself after work even though it's only 2 hours of happy hour compared to the 4 hours on the weekends. They aren't cheap with their AC either unlike K-Republic when it was still open. This place is better than any place I know of in K-town and even the SGV. Moxie has ruined me for all other karaoke spots in SoCal and I have zero reasons to stray elsewhere. Parking is still plentiful and it's adjacent to a full plaza of eats, drinks, and a huge VONS. Amy and Jackie are AWESOME!!!! Please continue to support this local business.

It was pretty good and low alcohol content. I really wanted to do karaoke and at $40 an hour, it was def a deal. Each person does however have to also order a drink which ranges from $13-$15. Service was below average but I would definitely return just for the karaoke. It's nothing fancy and it's booth seating but I had fun nonetheless and would 100% return based on pricing. The downside is that there's only two rooms and I'm not sure if you can reserve in advance.

With so many great-looking drinks on the menu, I asked the bartender for a recommendation and went with a drink (I can't remember the name) that was essentially a spicy mezcal margarita. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up ordering three more, never getting around to trying anything else. The bar has more of a lounge-like feel, though I understand there are karaoke rooms in the back. They also offer food, but I wasn't in the mood to eat this time. Maybe next time, I'll try the truffle fries with my cocktail.

YD is AWESOME!! The vibe is great, I love the lights and I actually prefer the YT karaoke system so that I can find any song I'm looking for in any key. They provide a complimentary snack, basically Chex Mix, but there are no real food or appetizer options. Service was probably the biggest issue. We repeatedly had to leave the room to find someone and ask for drinks, and even then, we had to remind them. No one was checking in on us. The billing was also confusing. Our items totaled $166, but we were told the bill was $183, and no one could clearly explain the extra $17. On top of that, there was a mandatory 15% tip ($25) that had to be paid separately through Venmo. We had fun because we were with friends, but overall, the room quality, inattentive service, and unclear extra charges made it feel overpriced. I wouldn't recommend this place or go back.
