I stopped in for a solo lunch. Such a sweet place with great food. Gotta love outdoor seating as well!

Food was okay. Ordered the vegetable pasta first and really did not enjoy. Then ordered fish and chips and for a classic dish couldn't go wrong. Others ordered the halibut and asked for it to be blackened which was delicious so wish I ordered that instead. The strip steak was also a good a choice.

My wife and I came here for our anniversary. We were greeted with well wishes from the staff and a glass of Prosecco. Service was amazing all around. We had the Kale Salad, Crab Cake, Halibut, Mac'n Cheese, and Mashed potatoes. The star of the show was the halibut but everything was amazingly simple and delicious. Wish we could have explored more of the menu.

The brussel/kale caeser is amazing! I also enjoyed the rib eye special. I love sitting at the bar and watching the bartender whip up cocktails. Our service was excellent, and I find the staff very welcoming.

Wowowow. We tried The Good Table for dinner last night and it was incredible! The burger was perfection, especially with the side of mac. We had a lovely server, and the whole team was very attentive and friendly. A pleasant surprise was the view through the back windows, which made it feel like you're tucked away in the woods. We can't wait to go back. PS: you need the rolls.

TGT Burger and in the back the pork chop!

Food was incredible, little bit of a limited menu but great vibes and great service! Great find for Cape Elizabeth!

She was handling a room full of people, including a very large party, all by herself and was gooooooooooood at it. She made my martini extra filthy dirty; she had all the answers for all our questions. For me, there's not much of an atmosphere or vibe or ambiance. It feels like it's catering to an older crowd who doesn't need that, just a place they can have a drink off peninsula and be a little loud about it. It's definitely not a destination spot for anyone looking up "12/24/48 hours in Portland, ME" so if you want to avoid those tourists altogether, this would be a safe spot. Also, if you're vegan, there's not really much to eat. I mean, there's olives, but they're purple (and, I don't know, but I think the green ones are always better)!

Everything is self-serve: you get your own water and cutlery, order at the front, and they bring the food out to you. We ordered the "weird little salad" for $10 and two pepperoni pizzas for $18 each, one with a hot honey add-on (additional $2). I didn't love the "weird little salad," since it was a strange clash of flavors of textures (perhaps as advertised?), but my main gripe is that it was extremely tiny, basically the size of a ring dish, barely enough for one person. We enjoyed the pizza, which was on the oilier side but yummy. Overall, though, we left the place feeling underwhelmed. For two pizzas and a tiny bit of salad, the bill came out to over $60, which felt like a lot given the casual barstool seating and the lack of sit-down service. For a quick bite in a time crunch, maybe I'd come back again, but otherwise, I'll probably stick to Portland's many other great offerings.

I understand that this restaurant has a good reputation and with the location and reputation it's built, their prices are reflective - but, if that's the case... please deliver (at least) on the expectations. The service, I will say, was phenominal. Our server was very skilled, friendly and made a nice wine recommendation when our first choice was unavailable. The oyster started wasn't much to write home about, the sauce just didn't work for me. Classic accoutrements would have worked so much better. I'll continue with the dissapointments/misses before highlighting the rest of what I really enjoyed about my experience. The lobster popover (probably what I was most excited to try) was extremely overcooked. The pastry was on the verge of inedible. We were able to salvage bits and pieces of it and I will say that the combination of flavors (lobster, pastry, butter and puree) were sublime. That dish was ultimately dissapointing. And the "baguette" that was served with our crab dip was jokingly small for the amount of crab dip presented. The baguette was sliced so paper thin (to create the effect that there was enough pieces to sample the dish) that you couldn't reasonably rip a single piece off... every attempt just became this mangled mess of bread that you had to pile crab dip on top of. It just lacked thought and care... pick a different baguette or cut the slices into a reasonable thickness and give us a second (or part of a second baguette to make up for the small size). The tuna tartare, and scallops were delicious and I have zero complaints. The asparagus salad was delicious (the kimchi was the best thing we had throughout the night)!

The lemon sole (fish) and octopus carpaccio (not pictured) were filled with flavor! The pork belly was very underwhelming and I would not order again. The waiter said 2-4 plates per person. I recommend starting on the lower end and adding additional dishes based on how you're feeling. The amount of food was very different from dish to dish. For example the tuna dip had way too much bread and the pork belly was very small in size. Overall I was half impressed. I wish the staff would take a moment to announce the plate as it's placed next to you or point it out on the menu for those hard of hearing and wanting to know what they are about to enjoy. However the music, overall restaurant vibe and half the dishes exploding with flavor made my experience pleasant and I will return again knowing a bit more of what to expect and looking at photos of the menu/meal options beforehand.
