Well, this is the 2nd time I have gone in looking for a Vegan donut, mind you, it's not like I go in late and they are all out, I was there both times around 8:30am/ they advertise a vegan pink lemonade but I've never seen it. Stopped by this place on a whim while at the farmers market the two young men who were working were very polite and informative. I tried both a gluten-free doughnut and a regular doughnut. Both were really well-made. I could not tell the difference in terms of quality of which one is gluten-free and which one is regular. Oh my gosh. I had this place bookmarked for whenever I was in town. I finally was in town, visiting a friend, and I told her I wanted to check this place out and she immediately said yes. What a fantastic experience! The barista here today mid morning / brunch time is beyond friendly - she was so welcoming and made me feel right at home from the moment I stepped in. The shop is impeccably clean and has the cutest interior. The vibes are absolutely immaculate, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere perfect for a quick stop or a long stay. I was in a rush for just a quick coffee before continuing with my day, and even though she was doing side work, the barista noticed my arrival and was at the front before I could even unpack the menu! I am a fan of cronuts and now the cruffin. It's always fun to twirl the croissant part of the cronut/cruffin and the taste didn't disappoint. The Nutella buttercream was delicious. Even if there is a long line, which is most of the time, they move you through pretty quickly. It's best to know how many you are going to by so they get the proper size container. I usually get the half-dozen but opted for just 2 this time. I've tried most of the flavors offered and they are all Exceptional! They are extremely crafted and well balanced in flavor. The Goods specializes in over the top donuts which singles them out from the regular mom and pop donut shops. We indulged and ordered one creme brule donut followed by the traditional glazed donut. The creme brule donut was worth ordering again. It was covered in a thick brown syrup glaze and topped with fluffy mascarpone which was to die for! The glazed donut though wasn't anything to call home for. I think if the donut was served piping hot it would be more enjoyable. It is a very rare occurrence to not only find a place that makes a gluten free donut, but one that is celiac safe! I had not had a proper donut in about 7 years before I found out about this place and do they ever deliver! The Goods has a couple staple flavors, and then they offer some incredible creations. The donuts are spongey and delicious and so decadent. The gluten free donuts are cake style, and are not deep fried. But these are so good I don't even miss the deep fried donuts. My biggest complaint is the price. These are definitely a specialty product so I get they aren't the same price as your hole in the wall donut place. They also offer blue bottle coffee which also spendy, so coffee and a donut will run you $10-11 for one person. We stumbled upon this place while walking around over the weekend. At first glance it didn't look open and you would just see people walk out with boxes. It was very hard to choose so I limited myself to 6 1. Seasonal "candied yam" - it has ubr. I want sir what to expect but i had to try it. It was light and fluffy. As a filipino, it reminded me of an ube ensynada. Not overly sweet but just right. 2. Brown butter - I wasn't sure what to expect but this was tasty and crunchy. 3. Churro cruller - Kind of disappointed with this one. I expected it to be crunchy but it fell flat, like it was kind of soft and limp. Not crunchy through and through. 4. Nutella buttercream - it was alright. I feel like I was looking for something more. 5. Chocolate ganache - I thought I couldn't go wrong with something that's a typical classic but I was disappointed it was dark chocolate. It just left a weird taste in my mouth. 6. Stopped in for a quick coffee fix one morning. I got a drip. My wife got a churro cruller. Parking was easy. It was a quick stop. There were lots of very fancy donuts that looked amazing. I'm trying to avoid sugar, but they sure looked tempting. My wife said the cruller was amazing. I didn't recognize the logo of the roaster on the coffee bags they had present. The website says Stumptown (Which is why I came here and felt it was a somewhat safe bet) but I don't think it was the case when I was there just over a month ago. The drip was okay. Today's experience was so awful and I'm not sure if I want to come back here. They offered lots of options for donuts, cruffins, GF donuts. The donut flavors were oustanding and they were very light. They are not overly sweet either. We got mixed berry and matcha citrus cruffin. Matcha citrus was delicious; the tanginess balances out the frosting. Cruffins were light and flaky, as good as Mr Holmes' Bakehouse in SF. Service was lacking and extremely rude. No one greeted us at the store and the cashiers seemed annoyed when I asked some questions about the donuts. Also, my cruffin was served on a paper plate. I asked if I can get a box to go since I will be walking around. The cashier kept denying my request repeatedly and said that it will get too messy or ruined the frosting if it was packed in a box. After I finally got it pack in a box, the cashier didn't say thank you or provided basic customer service. It just left me confused after walking out of the door. This experience left a really bad impression for me. I would love to support local businesses in any way but until they improved their customer service, I won't return. read more

While I've tried some of the specialty donuts, the chocolate ganache donut alone is very very satisfying. The dough is just light and airy (almost like a beignet) and the chocolate hits just right where it's neither overpoweringly or artificially sweet. My second fave is the Boston cream.
