This place has great good and a very dark relaxed atmosphere! Very lounge vibe. They were able to accommodate a large party and we had our drinks and food. Waiter was super nice and would totally be back to try more food!

I'm giving this restaurant five stars for an excellent outdoor dining experience during Covid. My salad was delicious. The dressing was a bit sweet so I asked for Russian which was more like a remoulade. That hit the spot. The seafood was fresh and the lettuce was crisp. My husband ordered a Cobb salad that was also delicious. The service was impeccable and I felt like the tables and chairs were very clean. It was encouraging to see our server spraying down each table after people left. The atmosphere under their large tent was very festive. I can't wait to go back again soon.

Go for booze with friends. For food, it's borderline inedible. Only pro is decent outdoor space in middle of Wayne.

I learned later that this restaurant has been around since the early to mid 1900's. Plenty of parking in a large open lot. The place is very large and has one of the longest bars I've seen. The wood is very dark and you can see the chefs cooking over the hearth. They don't take reservations and won't see you until your entire party is there. One of the things I liked for our party of 10 was they had no problems with seating as they also have many large round tables. For mixed drinks, they make them pretty big and potent. For my martini, they sent back an extra glass. They also had great bleu cheese stuffed olives. We ordered onion rings (8 large to an order) and fried zucchini. The onion ring I had was pretty good. I didn't have the fried zucchini but heard it was also pretty good. Other than the light fare items, all dinners come with their salad bar which has both iceberg lettuce and Caesar Salad along with many fixings as well as cheeses and bread. I had the Baked Seafood Platter which came with scallops, shrimp, Clam Casino (without the shell), Maryland crab cake and a small lobster tail for $49.99. My wife had the baked chicken breast which she said was quite dry. The dining area is quite large and reminds me of the restaurants at a casino. Some in our group said it reminds them of Medieval Times due to the dark wood vibe. While I thought it was a bit pricey, I would still come back and try their signature steaks or prime rib.

Also, they won't stay you until the entire party is there. We waited at the bar for everyone to arrive, where one cocktail was more than enough for me. You definitely get your money's worth, and you should not drive afterward. (I did not.)

The food here is delicious. There are a ton of options to choose from, and everything is made fresh and served hot (I mean, unless it's supposed to be served cold, like a salad - you know what I mean people!). They have daily specials and you may need to sit down for this one: they honor their specials for take-out. What? Yes, that is correct. Over the past decade, I've gotten to know the bartenders a little bit and I appreciate them because they serve good drinks and are friendly. They are also prompt! When they have a moment, they take the time to chat a little with me and I like that. The pub itself is cozy. The lighting is always appropriate for what's going on and there are plenty of TVs around, displaying the local sports teams. Sometimes there is live entertainment, too. You can sit and eat at the bar but there are also booths, tables, and high-tops to choose from. I uploaded some menu photos because this site did not have any. This place is huge with plenty of outdoor seating (with gliders) multiple dining rooms each with their own bar and a rooftop deck. Starting off strong. The brisket fries were tasty, cheesy and kept their shape even under the brisket. Things went downhill from tThe roast beef has good flavor but was not served as hot as we would have liked. Our waitress did not come back around until after we had eaten so the opportunity to try and get it remedied did not present itself. My burger was good enough but not juicy or flavorful. Just a basic bar burger. Sandwiches come with house made chips which usually are my favorite, sadly these chips were rubbery, stale, and dull. If you're not going to include fries with your sandwiches make sure your chips are edible. The rooftop offers a different limited menu that offers a few of the same items the dining rooms have with some different "lighter" additions. We will try and come back when it's cooler to check it out.
