Nice little spot with good food and amazing service! I was originally there for an event, but the event ended up being postponed, so I was basically there by myself. Ed & Mimi were SO nice. We sat together at one of the tables and I ordered the Nosh Burger with fries. Really solid! I was there for a couple hours and we had really fun conversations. I got to try an off-menu meatball dish they were working on and a refreshing mocktail. The owners also take care of Toast Kitchen in Tustin, so it's great to see local businesses growing and trying out multiple concepts! Would love to come back and bring my husband!

Nosh Bar has taken over the former Toast Kitchen & Bakery space, with the same owners behind this new neighborhood bar concept. The menu offers a wide range of options-from burgers and sandwiches to flatbreads, tacos, and shareable bites. We ordered the Italian beef sandwich, mahi mahi fish tacos, and a couple of flatbread pizzas to get a good sense of the variety. Everything was very good, and the portions were generous. The staff was very friendly, and I especially appreciated the bartender taking the time to recommend cocktails based on what I liked. A great spot for casual bites and drinks with a welcoming, neighborhood feel.

I had a chance to preview Nosh Bar food during their "soft" opening last week. I know the owners from Toast Kitchen + Bakery, which previously occupied this spot until a few months ago. This is a new concept for them. We sampled several items (wings, pizza and pulled pork and Italian beef sandwiches). All were very good. The pizza (pepperoni and sausage and chicken fettuccine) had a great balance of crust, sauce and meat); the wings were meaty and tasty with a number of sauces to choose from; and both sandwiches were excellent! Will definitely be there on a regular basis. As it is a new restaurant, they are still working on the decor and the bar selection, but they have the food down cold! This will definitely be a great neighborhood bar and restaurant.

I had an amazing time at Nosh Bar. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The owners go above and beyond every time -- they greet us, share stories about the place, and make the atmosphere feel warm and homelike. The food is consistently incredible.

Alfredo chicken pizza, very light, fresh and delicious!

If you like pizza and drinks and a nice place to enjoy time with a group, family and friends, Nosh Bar has terrific food reasonably priced and excellent service too. Dana (Day-na) our server was fantastic! The pizza was delicious, we ordered the sausage pepperoni and Alfredo chicken pizza and had some super crispy and delicious potato chips ( super yummy) and the beef sandwich with arugula a special super tasty sandwich on sourdough that they have and the Brussel sprouts with bacon were terrific too. The bread pudding for dessert was delicious too! They have specials on Tuesdays for tacos and Thursdays for pizza, if you are in Costa Mesa you should check this restaurant out! Friendly team there with very tasty food! Highly recommend Nosh Bar for great food, relaxing, friendly place to have terrific pizza and fun. And if you plan on having office or family or organization fun get togethers, you might want to try Nosh Bar, conveniently located off Newport boulevard in Costa Mesa!

Excellent service and menu. Could use a bit more basil on the pizza and offer a dipping sauce with the fries. I would eat here again.

Everyone always has a smile on their face and are ready to help you out. Upon walking in, you can order yourself or head straight to the counter to place your order. If its a bit busy, it does take a little longer to get your food. Trust me, its worth the wait. There is plenty of seating inside, with a small outdoor patio offered as well. I usually sit inside where its cooler on these warm humid days recently. They offer combo deals right now which is a good offer for a burger, fries, and drink. Definitely check that out. I ordered a western burger yesterday. Think of the Carl's western burger but like a billion times better. So juicy and the bbq sauce they use is quite distinct. I am definitely getting this burger again next time!

He gave us better service than a five-star steakhouse. Max deserves to be manager yesterday. We'll definitely be back!

If you are coming south on Newport, you will have to make a U-turn at 17th and drive back north one block. The restaurant has its own parking lot with about ten spaces. If the lot is full, there is additional street parking around the corner. They do not have a drive-through, but they do have a walk-up window that you can order from if you don't want to go inside. Seating options include about ten tables inside, a long table along the front window with a bunch of chairs, and a patio with quite a few tables, but no umbrellas and not much shade depending on the time of day. I sat at the front window and enjoyed the view. The air conditioning was nice and chilly. They had good 1970s and 1980s music playing inside. I walked up to the register, placed my order, and it was delivered to where I was sitting about ten minutes later. I had the Oklahoma smash burger (double smash patty, cheese, sliced onions, special sauce, potato bun, $12.99). It was good, but it was a little bit on the bland side. It was an average sized smash burger, there were plenty of onions, and the bun was fresh. The flavor just didn't give me the "wow factor" I usually get from a great smash burger. I also had a side of onion rings ($6.99). These were great, with a good crisp and the perfect amount of batter. It was a good serving size also. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly. They are a little on the expensive side, as I've had way better smash burgers for much less. If I could give half stars, I would give 3.5 stars. I'll round it up to four stars since the onion rings were excellent, and I enjoyed the view even though it was just of Newport Blvd.

They do have them where I'm at in Las Vegas, but I have yet to visit any of those establishments. I was super hungry and thought I want to go try that rib sandwich. Place is easy to find right off 17th Street. You really can't miss it with that big sign. And the building is definitely unique as well so you shouldn't have any problem finding it Inside you can either choose to go digital and and skip talking to a real person. I'm old school, I actually like engaging with people. So I went to the counter. I ordered the rib sandwich without looking, and was a little shocked by the total. The sandwich itself is 15 bucks, I ordered a small fry which was $4.50, and a small drink which was $4. With a 15% tip my total came out to $28. Definitely a little shell-shocked by that. Now let's talk about the sandwich. It came to the table and at first glance it looked very small. When I picked it up there was a very generous portion of rib meat inside like a big chunk of rib meat. Huge pickles and a lot of sauce. It was a great sandwich. Do not get me wrong, what I ordered again? Maybe. They don't really have a meal deal that includes fries and a drink so it's sort of all a la carte. Now let's talk about the taste. The fries were perfectly cooked, and the sandwich itself was a solid 10. That being said, I would definitely feel more comfortable paying $12 for this sandwich, as I think 15 is a little exuberant. And you don't really get that many fries for $4.50. I can't imagine what the meal deal would have been, but I'm sure people would absolutely balk at that price. I would have given it a five-star review, but that is way too much for that sandwich. As delicious as it was, I just don't feel right spending that much for a sandwich. If it could be reworked, and the price dropped down I would be all in in a heartbeat. Bottom line? If you've been wanting to try it, I say go ahead. Just be warned that you could be unpleasantly surprised unless you know what the prices are you're getting into.
