    Falafel Platter

Visited The Greeks for the first time tonight. We had a delicious dinner and dined in. There is a takeout space attached to the dining room. I had the falafel platter which was amazing! Very tasty and reasonably priced. It came with Greek salad, choice of starch and 5 large falafel balls. We also ordered tzatziki as an appetizer which was also excellent and went well with my falafel. Service was prompt, friendly and attentive! We will be back! Thank you!

This restaurant makes me feel like I am in Astoria, Queens - great fast casual vibes with truly authentic Greek food. We split a lamb and beef kebab platter and shared a halloumi Santorini which came in a hot broth. In total we paid about $30 for a great lunch. You seat yourself and order at the counter; most tables were full but there's quick turnover.

Absolutely amazing. We had seen this place on our previous LP visit and had to try as our local Greek restaurant had closed and left a hole in our hearts. Greeks ADK absolutely filled that hole with delicious-ness and love. We got it to-go to eat at the campsite and it was still phenomenal. I am glad that they are here as this has become a LP staple for us, just after one visit!!!!! Also...I did not get a picture of the gyro...I ate it!!

I ordered a lamb gyro and a salad for takeout. Good size portions. The lamb gyro was very filling and full of flavor. The salad had a good variety of veggies, but the dressing was very bland.

After our delightful first visit, my wife and I knew we had to come back to Istanbul Kebab House…read morefor a proper meal. Last week, we decided to turn our date night into something special with dinner at this Turkish gem followed by a Broadway musical, Newsies, at the Flynn Center. We made a reservation in advance, as this spot is quite popular in the evenings - especially when there's a play happening nearby. The ambiance was inviting and warm, with soft lighting and traditional Turkish decor creating a perfect setting for a romantic evening. The service was exceptional, and our server, Alexandra B., made the experience even more memorable with his attentiveness and friendly demeanor. We started with the Small Meze Platter ($16.99), an excellent choice for sharing. The platter featured haydari, hummus, babaganoush, Turkish salsa, and stuffed grape leaves, all served with soft lavash bread. For those seeking a gluten-free option, fresh-cut veggie sticks are available. Each dip and spread was bursting with flavor, making this a must-try appetizer. For the main course, I chose from the Earthenware Casseroles and ordered the Lamb Guvec ($27.99). The tender, marinated lamb pieces combined with tomato, mushroom, onion, pepper, and eggplant were served sizzling hot, and the aroma alone was irresistible. It was hearty, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the recommended 9oz glass of Vinkara red wine ($16.50). My wife selected the Chicken Adana Kebab ($22.99) from the Traditional Kebabs menu. The mildly spicy, hand-ground chicken seasoned with Turkish maraş pepper and parsley was grilled to perfection and served with Turkish rice pilav, a side of greens, house pickled red cabbage, and marinated onions. She enjoyed every bite and complemented her meal with a 9oz glass of Ancyra white wine ($16.50), which was light and refreshing. To close the evening, we indulged in a classic Turkish dessert, Baklava ($9.99). The layers of fresh phyllo, walnuts, and crushed pistachios, finished with a simple syrup, were the perfect sweet ending to our meal. Istanbul Kebab House continues to impress with its excellent food, cozy ambiance, and impeccable service. Whether it's a casual dinner or a special occasion, this restaurant is a must-visit in Burlington. We'll definitely be back again!

We had Mara for our server and you could tell she truly loves everything about the food there. For cocktails we ordered Mint and Honey, and Homa. The Mint and Honey had gin, lemon juice, honey, and labne. I never thought milk and lemon juice would mix, but it worked surprisingly well. The cocktails were definitely original but not something I would order seconds of. For mezze, we ordered half the menu. The lamb sausage crackers are kind of like ground lamb between two thin pitas that are then toasted. The local credited came with cucumber, radishes, and cherry tomatos. The muhammara was the star of the show, the punchy red people puree with curry, divine. The baba ganoush was also excellent but not much eggplant taste if you like that. The kale salad was lightly dressed with a creamy dressing, with crispy and very crunchy quinoa that ser it apart. The sugar snap peas were perfectly cooked. Seared halloumi was a crowd pleaser and must be ordered. The potato latkes were the surprising dark horse, crunch flavorful, but the jalapeño lahbne was amazing with it. The octopus had great flavors added and was very tender. There was a slightly fishy taste to it though. The lamejun is like pizza, on which the burrata was amazing. They brought a candle - lit baklava for dessert, a very sweet ending to our dinner. Love this food!

It's an upscale East Mediterranean restaurant focused on small plates and drink. Place was busy so we made a reservation but we ended getting there early and wasn't too busy so we were able to get tables as there were no option to reserve a table and only bar at the time. Parkings are available for street parkings only. We parked further out and walked over. Menu was unique as they mainly focus on small plates and drinks. They offer different kind of Mediterranean dips/bread and small plates. We got few things to try such as tahini hummus, home made pita, leb lebi, braised lamb simit bun, sweet harrisa chicken and greek style octopus with bread. First served was tahini hummus, pita bread and leb lebi. Home made pita bread was fresh, soft and chewy, hummus was creamy which paired very well. Lab lebi was crunchy spiced chick pea which was almost like a snack. I'm sure it pairs well with drinks but i don't drink so was a snack on its own. Next up was braised lamb simit bun. Single bun came with some braised lamb and pickled, mayo sauce and toasted bun. Flavorful lamb and nicely toasted bun. Greek style octopus with bread was interesting. It reminded me of ceviche with octopus but with olive oil. The harrisa chicken wing was good but not unique particularly. Overall food was good but definitely noticed portions were really small. The best thing was actually the home made pita. Service was good. Server was attentive. Overall it's a good restaurant but maybe for special occasions. Price is pretty high compared to the portion. Definitely get the home made pita bread and hummus but not sure if that alone will justify coming back.

I found this place on Google which turned out to be such a hit. We tried calling in our order multiple times but always got a busy signal so we placed our order through Seamless and it was ready for pick up in 25 minutes. The portions here are large and the food is delicious! The chicken/gyro and rice platters are similar to NYC halal platters with large chunks of meat. The "crispy cheesy naan" is more like crispy cheesy paratha (flaky flatbread) which was yummy. The pita is also thick and fluffy! My group also loved the salads and falafel.
