This was our second visit and just as good of an experience as the first visit. Food is delicious. (buffalo chickun, gyro, burgers). Sandwiches are a little messy....but that just adds to their deliciousness. Service is good with very nice wait staff. I highly recommend. read more

I'm really sad I'm giving this review but this goes to the kitchen and NOT the server ( she was a doll) Went there today and we ordered power superfood green salad( something like that), mixed veggies with rice and the Shawarma. 1-salad was good but I sensed a particular smell which is when kale is going bad, the tempeh also gave her stomach issues which never happened before we have been vegan for years 2-vegetables tofu and rice looked and tasted as if it was from a bag and just microwaved, no flavor AT ALL. my daughter had to put salt and pepper plus (Tahini - lemon sauce that was a salad dressing several times) * the sauce was the best part of our visit . For an almost $11 dish I expected something a lot better and at least with flavor 3- shawarma- 75% fairly good. Bread was hard ( I thought shawarmas were soft bread, at least that's how California does it. This one as well came with stomach pain. The food came in at very separate times. One of my daughters got her plate early before my other daughter both got there foods way before me and we're basically done before I started We were so excited to come here. Something was not right. I was here a few months back and the flavors were amazing, fresh etc but today I was really disappointed. At least our waitress was nice, humble and happy. Im hestitant to come back again, but I would like to give this place another chance . Hope your kitchen reviews the way they are preparing the plates because today was not a good day. UPDATE: I really appreciate you response . But I highly suggest you revisit/ revamp the mix-vegetables/ brown rice plate. I have been following this restaurant for a while on FB and finally got the opportunity to visit yesterday with my mom to celebrate her birthday, and what a delight!! We both had the Mack-stack, and omg it was out of this world!! I also ordered a cup of the French onion soup, and it was amazing!!! The fries and coleslaw were equally as good! The owner was sooo sweet, and spent a good amount of time talking to us. We will definitely make this place a regular stop, I just wished I lived closer 5 stars is not enough! I am not a Vegetarian. I am not Vegan. I am not a frequent Yelp reviewer though I am an avid fan of Yelp reviews. I am an avowed carnivore who has written two out of 5 reviews about Barbecue restaurants, specifically about ribs. I say all this to let you know that when I say I crave the Reuben Sandwich from The Green Table, I am speaking to people who may want to try to go meatless every once in a while, but are a bit apprehensive. I know it's a cliche to say you'll never miss the meat, but at least, when it comes to the Reuben and the Impossible burger, I (and my less adventurous eating Husband) can vouch for it. The food comes hot, fresh and delicious. And like the best of all independently owned restaurants, they seem completely happy to make adjustments off menu if they can. ( The first time we went, we heard someone talking about a previous special version of a regular menu item. On our second visit, we asked if it was available and the chef had the ingredients, so seemed happy to oblige. ) It's that kind of personalized service along with delicious food that will keep us returning. It may take you a visit or two to find the vegetarian meal that you crave, but I'm guessing at The Green Table you will be able to do so. read more

We have been coming to The Green Table every week for the past few months. I'm not a vegan or a vegetarian but this is my favorite place to come to now when we go out to eat. I have tried most of their main dishes and they are all delicious. The new item is a MACK STACK. Single or Double. Absolutely fantastic. Usually 2 choices for soups. 1 is always avail and that is the Moroccan Tom Pnut. A bit spicy for me but the other soup that changes usually is not spicy. The Beyond Burger and the Impossible Burger excellent also as are the Reuben, Falafel and Mock Chicken Wrap. Many more to try. All Vegetarian and all Excellent . Like I said, I'm not a Vegetarian but LOVE this place. Nice and friendly service. Owner is also friendly and overall a Great experience. My wife and I stopped by for dinner and were so pleasantly surprised. The Reuben Sandwich was delicious and we'd recommend it to anyone. We also had the Mock Chicken Salad Wrap and the Neatloaf Sandwich and both were awesome as well. I'd have a hard time choosing what to eat when we come back because everything we tried was so good. I'm here visiting from NY and just happened upon this quaint restaurant. I'm also gluten free. They have an extensive menu for a small restaurant. Everything on the menu looked good. I decided on the beans and greens with rice. I also had a side house salad with lemon tahini dressing. The food was so delicious and fresh. Friendly server. I would have given 5 stars but the server never came with my hibiscus drink. I had to ask and by then my order was ready. Food takes time to get but worth the wait read more

Great restaurant to eat at! Very healthy and so many options! I love this place and the owners are so sweet and attentive, they strive to make everyone happy for sure. The restaurant is always clean and it's very up to date with outdoor seating and beautiful interior decorations. There offer new specials every day and they have interesting, tasty dinner specials as well. Niki, one of the owners, personally makes majority of the food with fresh ingredients and spices. The decorations are nice, cute little place. But the food was terrible. I tried the vegan meatloaf, which I was super excited about. However the top was burned and hard, like it had been over-reheated or something. The bread they use also tasted off, almost stale. I've been to a few vegan places in the area (Ohana Cafe is a favorite) and this one just doesn't measure up. read more

The waitress ignored my table for twenty minutes before i got up and left. I'd love to rate it better but the atmosphere was very, um, how do you say, downtown Clearwater, odd, quiet, bland, trying desperately to be normal. Lack of acknowledgment. Been wanting to try this place. I've been vegan 20 plus years and prefer cooking at home but was curious about this place. I didn't expect such a cute little place! Very cheery looking and homespun. I ordered to go as I am not into eating in a restaurant as the covid positivity rate is up to 18% ( below 5% is considered safer). The veggie burger I had was very good but next tIme I would ask for light on the sauce. Cole slaw came in a teeny weeny little cup and was warm. Good flavor though. As far as service goes, the owner was a lovely lady very friendly and bubbly. The 2 waitresses however were not helpful or even friendly. I was standing there waiting as they were right in front of me at the counter , ( it's a very small restaurant) neither looked at me or said hello or can I help you, as I stood there for 5 mins. while they were right there standing at the counter in front of me! I finally had to say something ( politely) to get them to even acknowledge my presence. I found that very odd for such a cute place to have such unwelcoming wait staff. read more

Sadly disappointed at the service and food after it changed owners. My husband and I were patrons of the consciousness blossoms for years. We were excited to try a new place out. Long story short- we found mold in the middle of his crossiant egg sandwich. Now I'm not upset at the mold- being from the food industry for 25+ yrs, things like this happen all the time unexpectedly. I was disappointed at how the situation was handled. My husband waved down the server and waited for more than 10 minutes. No one came over to check on him, even though she nodded at us. He eventually walked over with his plate to talk with them, and they told him it was just butter from the pan. However, the mold was at the center fold of the crossiant, and the inside was turning blue and the surface was black with dots and fuzzy, so if it was burnt butter from the pan, it would be all over the bottom of the crossiant, not just the tiny pocket of the middle. What upset me was that they didn't have options to fix it- they could have offered a new plate, to order something else, or something, anything. We just sat even longer. The owners and the cook didn't even come to talk to us. I eventually finished my meal and just paid for mine and two coffees, while the owners stared us down from the kitchen. Sadly, this service is unprofessional. I understand when food rots unexpectedly- it's the nature of the product- however, I'm not here to bash them. I know how difficult it is to start a new restaurant- working all day, weekends, and trying to make enough to cover expenses- it's a tough gig- I know, which is why I never leave many Yelp reviews. But I hope the owners read this message and consider a change of approach to your customers. It's not fun when customers complain about food- I get it. I once had a customer argue with me over blue cheese on her salad that was listed on the menu. I've had customers eat more than half their meal and complain they didn't like it. I've had local celebrities order off items and demand for a discount or not pay at the end of their meal. I get it! But mold on the bottom of a crossiant that you might have overlooked during brunch rush is understandable, but you have to fix the problem, which I didn't feel was handled at all. My plate, however, was pretty good. Mold free! I would consider going back if they had actually fixed my husband's plate. read more
