Came here for lunch to try something different. It is a bar restaurant, with private seating, a pool table. It was a nice place for drinks with friends to watch the game. We enjoyed the service, it was before a ravens game and was oddly quiet. People started coming in to go to the bar area for the game, seemed like regulars. I had a boardwalk lemonade, was a little heavy, I could not finish it. The chicken sandwich was good and the waitress was present and friendly. Unfortunately after leaving I got sick, so I will not be returning due to those circumstances. Otherwise drinks I'm sure are fine and the wait staff is lovely. read more

They weren't even busy at this time. I saw several EMPTY TABLES. Then when I went to eat the food it was COLD!!! Literally this is so disappointing and I will not eat here again. Key word here: Turtle. The service was not fast; neither was the kitchen staff apparently. Slow and steady can win the race but is not a great quality for a restaurant to have. To give some context we have a family of 5 and it took about 1.5 hours from the time we entered to the time we left. Had a burger. It was OK. Smallish but flavorful enough. The burger was about 1/2 in thick and not the full diameter of the bun. My wife had the California grilled chicken sandwich that was easily not as good as Chic Fil A. The kids were likelier to please because they liked the French fries. Menu highlight of the night though was the tater tots. These were good at least. We also had some of the maple jalapeño wings too. They weren't bad and decently "meated." But they didn't get brought out until the rest of the food which was a little weird considering they are on the appetizer menu. As far as service we saw our waiter when we ordered, 30-40 minutes later when the food came. No mention of "your food will be ready soon" or anything like that. My kids asked me when the food was going to be ready about 8 times. I tend to avoid this place and probably will continue to do so. Great prices and CRAB! A delightful stop near the exit of the mall, we are so happy we stopped here for the end of the day. I went with the grilled cheese like sandwhich but with the added CRAB, and omg it was FAB-ulous! At the table we had the crab dip to share and we all dived in for a try. It was cheesy and creamy and had just the right kick of bazinga after. I think we could have had like all crab dip with drinks and called it a day. OH! The smothered tater tots with crab sauce... yes.. do it. Don't stop just do it! Drinks that were our favorite were the crushes, blackberry was da bomb. This is your usual sports bar. I will admit they got some great deals week round. Wednesday especially for their half off wings and they got military discount! Our server was great and she was super attentive despite it being kind of late at night. Also I forgot to mention this place has endless tacos and their tacos are really good, both the grilled and fried! Its located right next to the mall so during the day parking can be busy always enough to get to. I can see why this place can get popular though. Great food as always. I was so excited to try the Brussel sprouts as not many restaurants have them on the menu! The BBQ sauce that was with them complimented them so well and added a tang to them! It is a shareable portion for sure! I felt like they were a little over done for my taste but maybe they are supposed to be like that, still tasty. False advertising. They had an ad on Facebook. We got there and they wouldn't honor it. They changed the start time from 11am to 2pm. We got there around noon. I even had a screen shot. The manager wouldn't come out. The manager had the waiter deny the advertisement after seeing the screen shot. I went there under the impression it was at 11am. Nobody was in the restaurant. Ordered pick up on door dash and the portion size is very small. Only enough dip for one person and enough pretzel sticks for two more containers of dip. Not impressed with the portion size and the top 1/4 inch is a blob of cheese. Just not getting a quality product for $13. Pick up was fast and the employee was nice. read more

My boyfriend and I went to the Bel Air Green Turtle tomight and had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent and the waiter Noah was wonderful and attentive. He really anticipated our needs as customers. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed. The restaurant was clean. We had a great dinner and night there. I wrote a review here approximately one month ago that reflected our experience which was not good. Since then they have exceeded all our expectations. I definitely will go back! Flies, flies and more freakin flies! Buzzing all around us as we ate! And we sat INSIDE! Seriously? Close the patio doors! Salad ok, not great. Kinda tired lettuce, some corn and tomatoes, tons of onion straws(good) and a few pieces of chicken. Not worthy of $10+, but Mom loves her turkey club and that is all that matters when we go out. Mom and I go here maybe once per month. It has been good almost every time. We have the best waiter, Yanni and when he is not here we still have good food and service. Until tonight. Our waitress was alone (she said) but there were only two other tables. We came in five minutes after another two person party but didn't get our order until they were leaving. Both our sandwiches were cold, but the plates were hot. That means they sat on the warmer for a long time. Would have given this server the benefit of the doubt except this was the second time she has she waited on us and her service was horribly slow the last time too. Horrible food, horrible service. I ordered a sandwich that had chicken and bacon and the bacon was pink and absolutely not cooked. I did not finish the sandwich after I noticed how gross the bacon was. I had to tell the waitress I wasn't going to pay for the sandwich because I didn't eat it, and it was not cooked. Only two servers working the whole restaurant on a Thursday night with about 70% of the restaurant occupied. 2 burgers and 2 chicken sandwiches took well over an hour, and were not particularly good. Server was apologetic but basically said management always leaves the servers out to dry by understaffing to save money. I feel like I would have been more satisfied flushing my $120 down the toilet and picking up McDonalds instead. Will not be returning. read more

I was refused service by the general Manager today because she didn't have enough sense to differentiate between a real or fake id. My address on my North Carolina Id had a previous addtress of mine from several years ago which she proceeded to proof by asking for my zipcode, I responded with my 2 previous zip codes both not matching and she refused to serve me. This was a first time experience for me and it would be my belief that if you choose to serve alcohol at your place of business then you would have a way to make sure an Id is real. If I had 4 thumbs I'd give my experience 4 thumbs down. read more

What a miserable waitress. We arrived for a late lunch around 2 pm. She sat us and I noticed a large amount of fur/hair on her black shirt. She never introduced herself, never asked how our meal was, or extended refills. We needed a condiment for our meal and once we asked her she went And wiped down a table before going to the kitchen for it. Truly no personality. The food was mediocre at best. The fish and chips were good, but the battery was a bit spicy. We left a very small tip but for lunch for two it was a bit of a hefty price tag. To call this waste of valuable farmland a restaurant is like calling a goat turd a fine pice of art. They managed to scrounge up a live band performance for a Friday evening and I could count the number of guests on one hand. The service was excellent and I wish I had more cash on me to tip her but as for the cooks, well... I don't think an Ethiopian child would touch this "food" with a 10ft stick. Beer was excellent but unless you piss in the keg you really can't screw that up. We've been here a few times, and quality & service goes down with every visit. First thing we noticed this visit was the increase in prices. We were there for happy hour, and the pretzel sticks that used to be $5 were $7. They came out cold & wrinkled, and the cheese sauce had started to form a crust layer. Everything was very bland. I ordered the Maple Brunch Burger. I was afraid it would be too many flavors on one sandwich. It wasn't. A little maple, and nothing else. The burger itself had no seasoning. My wife got quesadillas, and she also said they had no taste. My 4 year old ordered a burger, and it too came out cold. The cheese was melted so it was warm at one point, but it wasn't when it got to us. If you order one of the "Boardwalk Teas", watch your receipt. The menu says bottomless, but we were charged for a refill. We had to show the manager on the menu where it stated they were bottomless. The regular sweet tea tasted like it was sweetened with Sweet n Low. In short, service was slow, food was very bland (and cold), and staff doesn't know their menu. Our bill was $57 before tip, and it wasn't worth half that. If you're looking for burgers or sandwiches, save yourself some time and money, and visit the local sandwich place in Downtown Bel Air. My friend and I stopped by the Harford Mall Greene Turtle for a margarita during happy hour today. The bar was empty except for a few tables with families in the dining room. The bartender took our order for two margaritas then refused to make our drinks. Instead, he walked to the other end of the bar, talked to his coworkers, and printed some receipts on the computer. We waited patiently for about 5 minutes. He continued to find small tasks to do and never once check in or started making our drinks. We got irritated and walked out. Been here a number of times for beers and appetizers. The happy hour chicken strips are very good. The cheese steak and crab soup are barely medicore. With the exception of Tony the bar staff is dismal. 10 to 15 minute wait every single time for a draft and it has been like this on every visit unless Tony is working. This had to have been my worst experience during my lunch hour. We get to the restaurant was cheerfully greeted by the manager, but it all went downhill from there. "Devin" our waitress, came over to get our order...I asked HER what her name was. She took our drink order, my friend wanted lemons on the side. She brings the waters and lemons, one of the lemons appeared dried out, so we questioned it...."Devin" snatches the lemon out of the container (bare hands) and lays it on the table. They have a new menu, we joked about our usual no longer being on the menu, her response "well there's other things on there". I ordered my food and specifically asked for American cheese, my friend ordered her burger. After waiting about 15 minutes we questioned how long it would be, as we were on our lunch break. She informed us that my food is sitting in the back waiting on my friend's well done burger. She brings my food, after some encouragement, I realize it's NOT American cheese once I took one bite. Her response was "well it should be" (very snarky) after assuring her that it wasn't, she goes to get my friend's food who's also wasn't correct. I proceed to get up from the table to go speak to the manager. As I'm walking away "Devin" squares up her shoulders as if she wanted a confrontation and yells behind me as I walk away, "you can go talk to the manager but YOU WILL be paying for your check". Because I was in uniform I continued to walk away. The talk with the manager was reassuring that this was not their standard of customer service. I hope someone spoke with "Devin" and gave her some tips on how to do her job and service the customers. The one star was for the managers professionalism throughout the whole ordeal. read more
