This had to have been my worst experience during my lunch hour. We get to the restaurant was cheerfully greeted by the manager, but it all went downhill from there. "Devin" our waitress, came over to get our order...I asked HER what her name was. She took our drink order, my friend wanted lemons on the side. She brings the waters and lemons, one of the lemons appeared dried out, so we questioned it...."Devin" snatches the lemon out of the container (bare hands) and lays it on the table. They have a new menu, we joked about our usual no longer being on the menu, her response "well there's other things on there". I ordered my food and specifically asked for American cheese, my friend ordered her burger. After waiting about 15 minutes we questioned how long it would be, as we were on our lunch break. She informed us that my food is sitting in the back waiting on my friend's well done burger. She brings my food, after some encouragement, I realize it's NOT American cheese once I took one bite. Her response was "well it should be" (very snarky) after assuring her that it wasn't, she goes to get my friend's food who's also wasn't correct. I proceed to get up from the table to go speak to the manager. As I'm walking away "Devin" squares up her shoulders as if she wanted a confrontation and yells behind me as I walk away, "you can go talk to the manager but YOU WILL be paying for your check". Because I was in uniform I continued to walk away. The talk with the manager was reassuring that this was not their standard of customer service. I hope someone spoke with "Devin" and gave her some tips on how to do her job and service the customers. The one star was for the managers professionalism throughout the whole ordeal. read more

NOISE FROM BATHROOM HAND SANITIZERS UGH!!! Went to have a 67th Birthday Party with family on Dec 28th. Were seated in center of room opposite what we found out to be CONSTANT noise from the bathrooms..Mentioned it to waitress, she shrugged it off. Sent email to Green Turtle about the noise and how disruptive the constant swishing of the hand santizers were..the reply I received was : from Gina I am not sure what you want me to do! That was after I wrote her "Gina, Thank you for the reply..I guess you did not understand how our meal was interrupted thus we did not even enjoy the food and try to talk. It would have been nice as a gesture of good customer service to offer us a meal and peace and quiet somewhere else, so we may enjoy our meal. I would appreciate hearing back from you..Until have a Happy New Year !! Sincerely, Bill I guess she can not read. I was pleasantly surprised by my visit on Friday night. We waited about 20 minutes for a table. I really like the way that they take your number and text you when the table is ready- it lets you go into the mall and shop if you need to. Our server was very pleasant and our food was surprisingly good. We tried the Buffalo Chicken Nachos, BBQ Chicken Salad, and Blackened Chicken Quesadillas. Our only complaint was that the chicken in the quesadillas wasn't really blackened, there was actually little to no seasoning on it at all. My girlfriend and I loved this place!! We had their crab dip and it blew my mind away and it was like my 2-3 time having crab. My girlfriend is turning me into a Maryland girl!!! And we also had the Mac and cheese and it's better than my moms!!! Along with the wings OMG everything was just so good. We went to the Greene Turtle late on a Tuesday night. No one was in the dining room so our service was pretty fast. I ordered the French onion soup and the broth was good but there was barely any onions, croutons, or cheese in the soup. I didn't finish it. Wings were okay but how can you mess them up? Crab Mac and cheese was expensive and tasted fishy, almost like tuna. I would maybe wait a little longer until they get their act together to go there again. Visited the Bel Air, MD location on 10/1/17 during dinner time with my husband and in laws and had Kelly as our server. First let me say our meal was good and also let me say the restaurant was dead. Kelly on the other hand acted like she didn't want to be there, it took forever to get our drinks. Once she came back we were ready to order and instead of asking if we were she walked away. By the time she came back we put our food in and ordered an app too. The app came out quick and shortly after that our food came out. Her excuse was that they were slow. The least she could have done was hold off on our food to give us time to eat our app. We sat with empty drinks until close to the end of our meal, our table was full of plates to the point my husband ended up putting plates on a table next to us that was left unbused. She at least asked us how things were with our food. We were very disappointed in this visit and my husband and I frequently visit this location and have never had a bad visit. Didn't even see a manager on duty tonight. read more

The service was poor, took our order and came back 15 minutes later to say they didn't have two of the meals available after she confirmed they could be cooked without the oven. First time in my life that I've ever walked out of a restaurant. We ordered a beer and two waters.. 20 minutes later and still no drinks. We watched our waitress walk around casually and talking to her coworkers. If it was busy, I'd understand. But the place wasn't even a third full. read more

My family and I had lunch at this location yesterday, Friday 10/23/15. Isaac was our server, and what an EXCEPTIONAL job he did!! From the moment we were seated, to him introducing himself and everything else to the end - Outstanding!! The food, drinks, service, servers, and the restaurant overall was AMAZING! Service was good. Thai Pork Tacos was nothing more than a smokey pulled pork soft taco. Thai should not be in the name anywhere. There was no evidence of anything Thai about it. What little bit of "slaw" was on it, could have been left off. There wasn't enough for taste OR crunch. No spice, no ginger, no soy or even peanut flavor. Just good old smokey pulled pork. read more

I really enjoyed their atmosphere. Sports aren't my thing, but I didn't feel like I was forced to watch the television (like I would at Buffalo Wild Wings, or "B-Dub"). My server was friendly, and knowlegdable. I explained to her that it was my first time and I did not know what I wanted to eat, and she pointed me to the crab dip. The crab dip was excellent and I think I finished it in under 5 minutes (yum). I could do without the pretzels they serve them with, but its a personal preference, not to knock the foods quality at all. I would recommend this to anyone. read more

While I love the Aberdeen location this one is not as good. My first bad experience here was with a group of 16 people. We called ahead and they said they would have room. However it took a hour to get our food. The waitress took half of our orders and left. We had to hunt someone down to get the things we needed (napkins, refills) when our food came it was ok, but the experience wasn't the greatest. I didn't think much of this though because we were a larger group on a Saturday evening. However, last night around 9 I went back (a Thursday night) I checked the hours to make sure they were not closing soon. We (2 of us total) waited 10 minutes to be seated. Then we were given our drinks but only one straw. The waitress said she would be back with a second straw. We picked what we wanted and waited. After 15 minutes of not one person stopping by, taking an order, or bringing a straw we left. I was very disappointed as I had already decided what I wanted. I will not be returning to this location. While the food is the same as the other locations the service is not. read more

We used to frequent this bar at least once a week but have been going less and less lately because the service standards have tanked. Isaac and Courtney are both awesome, everyone else is subpar. The past two times (one being tonight) that we have gone we have had the same girl serve us in the bar. Her name is Skyler. Both nights she did an okay job taking care of us for part of the night and then the first night she mysteriously disappeared in the middle of our meal. After sitting without refills or service for a decent amount of time, another waitress realized we were not being helped and took over. We asked her what happened to Skyler and she told us that she had left. Skyler did not say a word to us before leaving. Tonight she did the same thing. Waited on us for a little while. When we asked her what beers she had on draught, she told us that there were "too many to list" and handed us a menu and pointed to the drinks page." Then she sat behind the bar while we ate our meals with empty drinks and then without saying anything to us, we watched her grab her purse and clock out. She walked right past our table to leave and did not let us know that someone else would be taking over or anything-didn't even smile as she walked away. Not sure what is happening to this place...pretty disappointing because it used to be an awesome spot to hang out and drink when it first opened. I am also a server and I would never abandon a table to begin with, much less do so without so much as explaining the situation to them. This girl clearly does not care much about her job if that is how she treats her customers. read more

Not a very inviting place to eat. A strange and uninterested wait staff hands out sticky plastic menus. Crab soup, a basic, is veggie soup without crab or flavor. Total embarrassment. Crab pizza was nasty flatbread with a crab dip with no crabmeat. Save your money. Go to looneys. They at least put crab in their crab dishes. I realize mall rent is high it come on. read more

Went to the Green Turtle on a Friday night and arrived at about 7:45 pm. The place was pretty much dead which should have been my first clue about this place. I have eaten at other Green Turtle restaurants before but this one is not up to par. I had my two children with me (2 and 5 years old) and after the hostess started to seat us at a table I requested a booth for the booster seat. She looked around (at the empty tables and booths) and stated this was where she had to seat us. I was not comfortable with the booster seat on the chair and so I removed it. The night did not go much better after this. Again the restaurant was pretty empty (only two other tables had guests) but the service was slow. My wife and I agreed the food was mediocre at best and was $50.00 for two adults and two children. I was hoping a manager would come around to see how we were doing but none ever did. I see several other posts in Yelp, Facebook, Google, stating they believe there is a management issue at this location and I 100% agree. read more

Walked by, without acknowledging me, talked to the couple, walked by me again with no acknowledgment. So went back to the hostess area to wait for my friends. Reservations were made about a month prior for our party of 20. They go to seat us, and showed us to 4 different booths. Um no, we all would like to be able to sit together, hence the reservation. Extremely slow service for poor quality, slightly undercooked chicken. I will say those that did acknowledge me were very nice and polite. Won't be returning to this location. read more

The restaurant was not busy at all for a Monday night dinner crowd. We were seated right away. We ordered drinks, an appetizer, and my child's meal. A few minutes later we ordered our meals. The appetizer and my child's meal came and were good. And then we waited and waited... No food. I still am not sure what happened- was told by one person there was a mix up in the kitchen, by another that the waiter forgot to put in our food order, and then that our ticket was lost. Who knows what happened. We eventually got our meals to go because we had been there over an hour and couldn't entertain our child any longer. Unfortunately, we were not the only table that had an issue. We won't be back to this location any time soon. read more

This was the first time I've been there, and was quite surprised. There were six of us, and everyone liked what they got. I chose French Dip which is a beef sandwich on a toasted French roll and beef broth to dip the sandwich in. I was pleasantly surprised. The beef was the usual flat Sysco beef, but actually tasty, with thin fried onions instead of plain ones in the sandwich and cheese. It came with chips or fries, except that you had to pay extra for the fries. I would definitely go back to try the other menu items that looked equally tempting. read more

Visited the Burtonsville store last night. Walked in with my 12 year old son at 5:45 for dinner. The store was empty except for the booths, as was the bar. We were told that we couldn't be seated because the ENTIRE location was reserved for Trivia. I asked to speak to the Manager and waited for almost 5 minutes for her to come out and talk to me. She told me that yes, she would not seat us in the dining room, but we could sit in the bar or outside. I told her that I didn't want to sit in the bar with my 12 year old son, and she said that the bar was family friendly. After complaining again she said that Trivia started at 7:00. I said something like, you would lose our business rather than seating us and she responded with "Trivia makes us a lot of money". After she saw the look on my face she said she would seat us. I turned and left. She then shouted after us as we left to have a good night. NOT OK. Not even a little bit OK. This was the third strike for Green Turtle and we will never come back. Will tell everyone I know about our experience as well. I wanted to rate this 0 stars, but it wouldn't let me. Yelp should make negative stars available. By the way, I would have been happy to call corporate with this information, but they make it very difficult to contact them. Does not bode well read more
