Because I wanted clarity on their charging after hearing about their excessive overcharging he told me "if your such an expert fix it yourself". I agreed and rearranged my day. At 1:18 he called to inform me he will be there soon because he was running 25 minutes late. He actually showed up shortly after 2. The problem was a key stuck in the lock. He takes a look and quotes $179. I was in disbelief so he asked me what I would like to pay and perhaps his manager will approve. He returns and informs me they will accept my price. He proceeds to fix my lock in literally less than 2 minutes (I actually timed him) and takes my still ridiculously high offer. I'm convinced the locksmith was completely aware that it was only a 2 minute job, preyed on me and scammed me for as much money as possible.
